This is a unique green tea. I enjoy the earthy flavor of the rice and popcorn.

I tried a lot of genmai chas before settling on one to use regularly, and this one was the winner by far. A smooth taste with just the right amount of Rice Krispies taste. Great-looking in the canister, too.

Nice nutty and full flavor. Toasted rice tones down the "grassy" taste of some green teas. Has replaced coffee for me.

★★★★★

This is a tasty savory tea that I use for a mid-afternoon "snack."

This tea takes some getting used to. I don't think it is bad, but I can't drink it every day.

★★★★★

I find this tea an excellent tonic.

Grassy and flavorful, with a slightly grain-like taste. Somewhat like drinking freshly baked herb bread.

★★★★★

Excellent, unique tea that smells salty like puffed rice and tastes delicious!

★★★★★

This tea is very intriguing... it looks like a combination of green tea and popcorn, and tastes like a bowl of corn flakes! A very "different" taste that is sure to please!

★★★★★

This is very enjoyable, and sometimes can even seem like a snack :-)

This tea is my favorite drink. It is cereally, like cornflakes. It has a perfect balance between sweet and salty. The word 'soothing' is made for it. I don't find it stimulating at all, so I will seldom have it for breakfast, but it is wonderful after dinner and makes the best bed time drink in existence.

What a great idea. Like many Japanese inventions, it could start a trend. Excellent cup of tea.

You can see the rice and popped corn in this tea. Takes the grassy taste out.

More popped rice than I have seen before in a Genmai Cha. This is a great tea for when you want a warm, toasty beverage, but don't want a strong caffeine kick. Very relaxing.

★★★★☆

A very unique taste. Quite unlike any green tea I've tasted. You can really taste the roasted rice flavor.

This is a great green tea. I actually reminds me of miso (this is probably because of rice). It is so comforting and rich.
