Both my friend and I didn't care for this tea at all. Tastes like dirt.
One of China's most famous teas, from Hangzhou in Zhejiang province. Distinctive flattened leaf shape gives the tea an inviting, toasty aroma. Sweet rounded flavor, like freshly roasted white corn. Nutty, buttery texture, pleasantly dry finish.

Both my friend and I didn't care for this tea at all. Tastes like dirt.
This is one of the best green teas I have ever had.
I used to use a bagged green tea (Tazo tea), and the re is no comparison to the freshness of this tea.
Favorite green tea. I like this tea on it's own or mixed with a little gunpowder.
This is a very nice, mellow green that goes well with food or by itself.
Beautiful green color, fresh taste, and very good on a second steeping.
I like it hot, but didn't like it as much when I tried it iced.
Love this tea, its always sold out though! I have not been able to get more in a while, would if I could though.
My favorite green tea - this is certainly a staple in my kitchen.
Along with Genmai Cha, this is my favorite of the green teas. Excellent flavor!
One of my favorite green teas. Like others have said, you do have to be very careful not to overbrew, but this green tea is worth the extra attention.
If you like dragonwell, it is probably good. If you don't like dragonwell, like myself, its pretty bad.
It's a very good green tea with the earthy flavors of the green tea.
I ordered only a sample of this, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Dragonwell is astringent, and I like an astringent tea sometimes. I overbrewed one cup. Eew! But that's what happens with dragonwell, you have to be careful. And the quality was excellent.
Perfect tea Iced. Will be buying more of this one.
I'm not sure why this happened ( I used the proper temp., time, amount, etc.) but the tea didn't brew whatsoever, it just lightly colored the water and did not taste very good. I do not completely write it off however because I extremely enjoy many of the other teas I've purchased here
I really enjoy this tea. It has a nice smoky flavor. Well-balanced and smooth.
Dragonwell is generally one of my favorites, but this one was rather unpleasant. Tends towards either too light, or very acid.
Not my favorite. Had a musty taste to it. I will give it another shot later.
A good basic tea. I prefer the flavored ones though.
Nice mild green tea. I put this tea in a bottle of filtered water and set it in the fridge overnight for a soothing drink that lasts all day. No bitter after taste at all.
It was a little smoky for my taste, but pretty good. It's actually starting to grow on me.
Very subtle flavors goes well with just a touch of honey.
This is very classy-tasting, much like what I'm used to sipping in sushi bars downtown...
Too grassy (freshly-mown) for me: while I'm happy with my coffee tasting like mud, I want my tea to taste like air.
I didn't like this one very much. It has smell and taste to it that I didn't like, it wasn't working in tea!
Not my favorite, much to mellow in flavor almost like a weak tea even when added more to try and make stronger.
My favorite of the green varieties. Has an almost smoky taste to it.
I did not warm up to lung ching at first. It required a few pots to adapt my palate. Now, I turn to it quite often to soften my evenings. Of the Chinese green teas, it is surely one of the finest.
This is the same tea that comes in the bottle. It's hands down the best green tea I have every tasted. Deep flavor even after several steepings and a little go a long way.
The dragonwell tea is distinct. I liked it a lot, though it is stronger than the green teas that I am used to drinking.
very good. normal green tea. great basic tea. easy to make. staple if you are a green tea liker
A well balanced everday tea and the tin container (4oz) it shipped in makes it worth well to try.
Excellent green tea. This is similar to a green tea in one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. Seems to have a lighter taste and aroma than Gyokuro.
I didn't care for this at all. Smelled too much like old hay or something.
I didn't care for this one very much. It had an asparagus smell and taste to it, and while I love asparagus, it wasn't working in tea!
The last dragonwell i had from another vendor was very clean with a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. This dragonwell from adagio onthe other hand had a very smokey/nutty taste to it that wasn't necissarily bad, just not quite what i was lookin' fo.
It was somewhat bitter, but it was still very interesting.
A nice green tea, smoky/earthy flavor, but not too much. I won't be drinking it every day, but it was pretty good.
My grandmother, mother, mother-in-law and sister enjoyed knowing they were drinking the tea of emperors and presidents!
A nice green, a bit of a grassy taste to it, but not overpowering.
A warm and spicy green tea, very comforting and satisfying.
I think the name is my favorite part of the tea, followed closely by eating the leaves. But I'm a green tea nut, anyway.
This is probably my favorite green tea. It took me awhile to get used to green tea even though I have been drinking quality black tea for some time.
My first inkling of my dislike for this tea was the smell of it. It smelled smokey... sort of like burned popcorn. What the heck, I thought, I am going to give it a try anyway. One never knows and I have discovered some favorites that I previously thought I would never like. I should have listened to my first instinct and stayed away from this one. It was just not palatable to me. A weird smokiness lingering on my tongue did nothing to enhance this tea.
very good green tea, great quality, not grassy, excellent overall
I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MANY DIFFERENT TEAS THAT ARE VERY INTERESTING IN THE POT TO LOOK AT AND TASTE GREAT AS WELL. I LOVE TEA. I LOVE HOW EACH TIN COMES WITH THE BREW DIRECTIONS ON IT. IT IS TRULEY A GREAT WAY TO DRINK TEA!
this is a wonderfully green tasting tea. It is wonderful hot as well as iced.
Probably one of my favorite green teas. I can not put my finger on the flavor but it is just very distinct and warm.
Despite having some problems with the first batch that I ordered (it contained some unannounced orange peel in it, which gave it a strange citrus flavor that I didn't like), I find the Dragonwell to be probably my favorite of the green teas available here.
I really liked this green. It is a little *grassy*, but that's green tea and this one has very good flavor
