First I want to say the little leaf spheres are really nifty for those who use teaballs or really just anyone who likes a quick and easy cuppa! Very convenient. The smell and taste is a very sophisticated jasmine, which is one of my personal favs. This simply must be enjoyed with a nice spoonful of honey too, as it makes the brew taste like honest to goodness nectar straight from the flower <3 This one is habit forming, so be sure to keep an eye on your caffeine intake. No wonder so many love it, it's truly worthy of all the praise!
Got this in the CommuniTEA one month and it was honestly one of the best new to me teas in that month. I knew I had to add it to my next tea purchase. The aroma is quite lovely and the taste is pleasant.
Everything about this tea says luxury. I mean, it's in the name: 'pearls' declares elegance and the tea does not disappoint. The fragrant little balls unfurl in water to create an equally fragrant, pale green tea pungent with the fresh jasmine aroma. The soft, floral flavor masks any grassiness from the green tea, and each sip finishes with just enough astringency to give the tea depth. These wonderful little pearls produce a tea that's equally suited to a fresh start in the morning or a soothing afternoon cup.

A beautiful jasmine but it is tricky to get just right. I find that steeping it 3 minutes is too much of a cloying perfume flavour so I go for 2 minutes instead and it comes out perfect. Very well rounded, perfectly sweet, perfectly floral… if I had the money I’d drink it all the time! Also a great tea for second steepings which I’m normally not a fan of personally.
Very aromatic yet not overpowering. It has a a refreshing taste for sure.
Sweet, light, and airy, while still possessing enough caffeine and warmth to have a full body. A delight every time. Leaves are good for at least two steeps.
My first attempt with green tea and this was perfect. The mild floral helped me enjoy all of the flavor and I got a few steeps out of the same batch.

This is one of my favorite teas hands down. When I wake up already with a headache and in a bad mood, this is the tea I reach for. Its quite crisp and if someone isn't used to tea it maybe slightly bitter.

This is a wonderful jasmine tea, in my opinion the best - balanced and pleasing. As an added bonus, watching the unfurling of the pearls during the brewing process is a relaxing experience. Special treat!

I’m a little disappointed with my most recent purchase of the Jasmine Phoenix Pearls. This is a tea I order over and over again, and the latest batch seems to be lacking. There seems to be less of the jasmine flavor that I’m used to.
I get about 20-24 oz of brewed tea from 1 teaspoon of pearls.
This tea is robust while simultaneously light and fresh! Can't get enough!!

A great, light, tea. Smells wonderful. Good for two steeps.
An extremely fragrant and pleasant floral tea. Only half a dozen pearls are necessary for a strong cup. I absolutely adore this, especially as a morning brew.
A nice jasmine. I brewed it cold overnight in a jug and it came out pretty nice. If I leave it there for more than a day it gets a bitterness at the end of a sip (which is to be expected). I liked this one less than the Fujian Jasmine, but I couldn't tell you why.
If you like green tea, this one is a winner. Medium flavor but very smooth.
This is a delicious, elegant tea if you enjoy Jasmine. It blends well with many white and green teas in my collection. Happy sipping!

It's a great option for making taro bubble tea (if you have the bubbles and taro powder)! On it's own, it's a very strong jasmine aroma and a little goes a long way when brewing a cup. I find it's good for a second brew.

OMG, this is so delicious! I love watching the green pearls unwind slowly, like tiny, langorous sea creatures. The aroma is a light, sweet floral, and the taste outstanding. I could drink this all day. Just got a sample and immediately ordered a bigger bag. I will always have this on hand!
Something with these Jasmine Phoenix pearls seemed off. I did drink it with a peach tea trying to replicate a teavana tea but have yet to try them on their own. I have purchased these from a different company and I feel like the last batch I bought from the other company tasted cleaner (I really don't know how else to describe it). But I did buy a decent amount of this tea and will be trying it by itself while also adjusting temperature and steep time.
