A good, flavorful tea with a wonderful scent. I am not sure, however, that it was better than jasmine#9.
Perfumy hand-rolled tea from Fuding, in Fujian, China. Each pearl is just one leaf and a bud. When added to hot water, the pearls majestically unfurl, releasing a delicate scent and flavor. Sweet and almost sugary.

A good, flavorful tea with a wonderful scent. I am not sure, however, that it was better than jasmine#9.
This is simply the best Jasmine tea I have ever had!
I really wanted to give this tea a try, but the jasmine aroma was just too strong for my liking. It seemed like I was drinking jasmine perfume.
honestly, i like the flavor of the jasmine #5 (the cheapest jasmine oolong from adagio) better than i liked this one. it was very pretty to look at, but i think that's what you pay for. however, i don't regret buying the sample: because of the shape of the 'pearls,' there's really a lot of tea in the small sample tin.
very very fragrant! very good mixed with the mango.
Wow, this is amazing tea! The smell is wonderful and the taste is even better!
Jasmine pearls of goodness... very, very nice. I love this tea.
One of my favorites. I love jasmine in perfume, and apparently in tea too. You can taste the higher quality in this one for sure.
Too flowery for my taste. I suppose that's the point, but it's not for me. The tea itself looks nice though, rolled up in little balls.
This is a sensory delight. Watching the pearls unfold is fun. Smelling the tea steep makes me feel like Pavlov's dog, I anticipate the first sip. The taste is wonderful but the lead-up is just as good.
This is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a mild but great tasting jasmine. This tea goes great with any food!
Tastes great, but pretty pricey. I'd buy it more often if it was cheaper.
Excellent tea that has a nice, strong jasmine taste.
Great aroma and visually pleasing. I've bought jasmine from special markets in fancy containers that weren't as bold as this one.
I had to give this one a good, because it was the highest rated jasmine which was why I wanted to try it. Jasmine tea is not for me though, I was afraid it would taste too much like an air freshener which has been my only experience with jasmine and I didn't like this one.
The jasmine flavor is so delicate and yummy. It's a wonderful tea.
This is heaven! The scent of jasmine is dreamy! Will order this one again and again.
...unlike #5 which I gave away because it was terrible(it tasted like a jasmine scented vehicle air freshner) this #12 is GREAT!!! I really do not think its going to be for everyone, but I absolutely love its clean, light taste ...one of the reviews before mine said 'it tastes like the spirit of jasmine' because it lacks the 'acidic/astringent notes', and that is absolutely correct compared to #5(i havent and wont try #9). This is pricey tea, but I will order a larger can and it will be my oolong of choice.
Brewed 1 teaspoon 4 minutes at 180°. Liquor light amber color. The delicate scent and flavor make Jasmines #9 & #5 (above) seem like dime store perfume compared to that found in an expensive parfumerie. Jasmine #12 doesn't taste like essence of jasmine as do #5 and #9. Rather, it has the spirit of jasmine. No acidic/astringent notes.
Incredible. Perfect. The best jasmine tea I've ever had.
I don't doubt that this is a high quality tea and it is cool to see it unfurl. I guess I just don't have a taste for Jasmine. This is my give-away tea for those guests who like it. I need something to do with all my empty sampler tins!
Wow! This is going on the reorder list Today! First experience with jasmine tea, I'm hooked.
I have to admit ordering this tea based on its high average review and on its distinct look. Upon having made some, I can't stop thinking about it. The taste/smell stay in my mind all day, and I'm just simply hooked.
This is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a mild but great tasting jasmine. This tea goes great with Chinese food of any kind.
This one just wasn't for me. Too flowery of an aroma and taste. I guess I like lighter flavors.
Perfect jasmine! Love to drink it during the day and with Chinesse food.
What can I say that hasn't already been said? The pearls put on a spectacular show, and the scent is simply intoxicating. I've never liked the smell of jasmine in bath products or candles, but I love to drink it!
This one seemed a little strong. The next time I'm going to use less and see if that helps, but otherwise this is a good jasmine tea.
This is a very good oolong tea, but not quite what I was expecting.
This tea is amazing and fresh. The tea is in little, balls and after the water is added and the tea soaks for a while, the balls open up and float around. It's a great tea.
This is probably my favorite tea. It's something a little different that you won't find without looking for it. Honestly though, the reason I originally bought it years ago was that I thought it looked interesting since it's spun into the little balls. It has a light taste with a soft hint of jasmine.
Good jasmine. Not my favorite though. It's very fun to watch the pearls open.
A excellent tea that is well worth the price. Perfect for that special evening just the two of you.
Fantastic. Incredible jasmine aroma, tastes as good as it smells, with minimal astringency. Very much worth ordering again, despite the cost.
Absolutely lovely tea - it is pricy, but worth it. I'll probably keep a sampler on hand all the time, for special occasions.
The jasmine flavor was very understated. Not my favorite, but I'm not big on flavored teas.
Almost as good as the Jasmine teabuds I brought back from Beijing (which i can't find anywhere here) - the jasmine is subtle, not overpowering. You need to advise users how many buds per cup to use, otherwise much is wasted & at this cost, that is not good. I'm still experimenting ...
I loved this! So nice to watch tea leaf 'pearls' unfurl while waiting for it to steep. Great taste and a real break in my day to enjoy!
It was very overpowering to me. After I was done I hade a weard feeling in my head. its a good tea if you like jasmine but i dont.
Excellent! If you like Jasmine, you'll love this one. It's definitly worth the upgrade from the other grades. Subsequent steepings bring on new layers of flavor.
One of my favorite teas. No doubt the best of jasmines. It has a very pleasant light, sweet flavor with strong floral overtones. I can no longer drink it every day, however; the sweet taste and powerful aroma are best enjoyed in moderation.
Jasmine in this was not as prounouced as some other Jasmine Pearl teas I have had. Good tea but not great.
This tea is a beautiful secret. The jasmine infused green tea is the most intoxicating aroma and flavor you may ever have the pleasure of experiencing. I have surprised many guests with this rarity and they are always very pleased. I have also referred a few friends to Adagio, so they may place their own orders. An amazing combination to try is 1 part Darjeeling, 1 part Earl Grey & 7 Jasmine #12 pearls. Steep for 3 - 5 minutes in 4 cups of water at 190 degrees. If you like cream, it goes very well and gives the tea a smoother flavor. This is truly a unique tea that not enough tea lovers -- and soon to be tea lovers -- have been exposed to. This is a guaranteed hit. WARNING: You may become addicted and place this one on auto delivery.
Very fragrant. I thought this was a good tea, however I think I added too much, so it was potent. If you like jasmine, you'll enjoy this. I can appreciate the jasmine, but I probably wont try this again.
The Jasmine flavor is pretty mild in this blend. I found it a little bitter when I brewed it alone, but a teaspoon of honey made a world of difference.
This tea is beautiful in every sense. Watching it unfurl, smelling the jasmine, tasting the sweetness. In short, heaven in a cup.
this tea is awesome, although a bit spendy, I love it, took it to work and the smell drew people to it, wondering 'what are you drinking,' I shared it with many and all loved it, will order again and again
smells and tastes great, and easy to use since they are individually wrapped.
This tea had a wonderful aroma in the tin and while steeping. I've always jasmine in perfume and in lotions. After two sips I discovered I like to wear jasmine and not drink it. I was worth the try.
This is the best jasmine tea I have ever had! I recommend this if you like jasmine teas
