Lovely pearls... if you like jasmine, you will enjoy this. The fragrance and flavor are gentle and not overly perfumy.
Perfumy hand-rolled tea from Fuding, in Fujian, China. Each pearl is just one leaf and a bud. When added to hot water, the pearls majestically unfurl, releasing a delicate scent and flavor. Sweet and almost sugary.

Lovely pearls... if you like jasmine, you will enjoy this. The fragrance and flavor are gentle and not overly perfumy.
Marvellous! Flavor is of course dominated by the characteristic floral notes of jasmine, but the underlying oolong is malty and rich, with a slight sweetness and no bitterness or astringency at all. Delicious through many steepings (I usually go for at least three!).
Such an amazing jasmine the flowery sent fills my lil home gives it a warm feeling that reminds me of my old home in Chiba with the wild jasmine growing outside.
For jamine tea, the pearl varieties are best for multiple infusions and this variety is the best of all. It's the most forgiving for over-steeping of the oolong varieties I've tried. The jasmine is rich, sweet and complex, but not overpowering.
Amazing smell, amazing taste, quantity lasts for a few good months.
A very nice light tea. It's neat to watch the tea blossom as it steeps.
A pleasant jasmine green tea, mild and aromatic. Will probably order again.
I liked this tea, but I don't think its worth the price on here. I've had better.
I was very impressed with the speed of shipping, couldn't wait to try this and was better than I thought even!!! So PRETTY and perfumey, a little bitter as I oversteeped, but I just can't waste even a tiny amount!! Will definitely purchase again!!
I've tried this several times and everytime I do I have trouble finding any significant bit of flavor.
I'm not a fan of Jasmine, but the reviews persuaded me to check out this highly rated tea. For a Jasmine tea, I would assume if has just the right Jasmine taste. It isn't overpowering and would be a great afternoon/after work drink.
One of the very best jasmine teas! Delicate, flowery, and refreshing.
A wonderful everyday tea. The taste is not overpowering and is very pleasant. A must have for the well stocked tea cabinet!
Brewed in what I consider tepid water for most of my tea likes, it has a very rich taste and a lovely color (one of the reasons I have a clear glass cup); furthermore if you are a fan of cold brewing or even enjoy iced oolong then you will want to try this.
I only have one caveat: it gives me a headache. I don't usually get a headache from oolongs but this blend gives me a mild to moderate headache every I've sampled it in the last few days. One theory is that the Jasmine, something I don't normally consume, is the trigger and given my love of strong espresso I doubt it's caffeine issue.
Despite that caveat, I urge you to try it.
I really enjoy Jasmine and this jasmine was very nice change from the others that I have tried with other companies. I accidentally left it sit too long and even then it was not bitter. Great aftertaste
This is our favorite type of jasmine tea, and you really can't go wrong.
Highly-scented & clean taste. Lovely to watch unfurl at bottom of cup -- doesn't seem to get bitter, even when over-steeped.
I love this more then any other tea! I would live on drinking this alone!
This tea is deceptively complex. With a light steep (180 degrees, 5 minutes, 1.5 teaspoons of pearls), the jasmine aroma and flavor predominate. This makes for a flavorful and very light tea, and is quite enjoyable. But the complexity of this tea is brought out with a more aggressive steep (190 degrees, 6 minutes, 2.5 teaspoons of pearls). With this brew, the jasmine flavor is nearly completely obliterated, and a smooth and slightly bitter oolong taste comes through, but you also get strong jasmine notes on the nose. This is a great way of enjoying this tea, if you want a stronger oolong flavor and subtle jasmine nose. All-in-all, this is a terrific tea that can appeal to a wide range of tea consumers.
I love dragon pearls. This one is terrific. If you like jasmine, try it.
I love this tea! The price is steep, but worth it for an occasional treat. Highly reccomended.
WOW! This is a great tea. Smell, taste, and look. Hands down one of the best teas I've ever had. I bought the sample, but will be ordering more of this.
A fantastic jasmine tea, well worth the price. But be especially careful to not over brew!
This is an amazing tea. I used too much tea the first few times I brewed this one, and it was overpowering. When I brewed it correctly, it was a wonderful cup of tea, beautiful and unique.
I kind of feel guilty. This is by far one of the most beautiful teas to watch steep, and the smell is divine, but it certainly doesn't smell like something I would drink! The taste however is not like the smell and indeed not bad but all in all not my cup of tea.
This tea is just as lovely at its appearance as it comes in tightly wound little balls that open up as tea steeps.
I'm a huge fan of floral teas and these are the best jasmine pearls I've tasted in a long time! Very fragrant and soothing--like sitting in a garden on a spring day!
This is great! Nice subtle flavors, even if you oversteep it. My kids love watching the pearls open.
YUM! This is the best jasmine tea i have ever had! Well worth the price!
I may just not have a palate that's refined enough, but I really can't say that this jasmine tea is all that much better than any other blend that I've tried--not to say that this one isn't good! I may just need more experience with other teas to make a good comparison.
I bought this tea for my daughter. She really liked it.
good very nice i like it wife hates it. why? she hates banana, i dont. if you dislike bananas dont bother, there is a scent and taste of bananas
This is an exteremly fun tea to play with! The aroma is intoxicating, and watchign the little balls unfold is a sight to be seen. Check it out!
Very interesting tea... A nice change from the flavours and well-known ones.
This is my favorite jasmine, it has a very subtle flavor.
I wanted to try this tea because it got great reviews but it was the worst I have ever had.
Very fragrant. Strong and pleasant aftertaste. Probably one of my favorites.
This tea is very flowery but it's scent is wonderful. I'm going to try it with the peppermint when I get it because I saw that someone else had. We shall see...
Absolutely wonderful flavor. It's very expensive, but worth it.
I love the smell of the star jasmine in my yard, so I ordered the sample. Tuns out that I'm not so much a fan of the same smell in my teacup.
Milder than I was expecting, but deliciously jasmine-tastic. Try it iced - seriously, amazing. Especially if mixed with a hint of peppermint.
very soothing and tons of fun to watch steep! the taste is almost medicine-ish. would not buy again, but I don not regret purchasing.
Lovely aroma. Strong floral scent but kind of tastes like a flower as well. It is still a tasty tea but the floral flavor is a bit overwhelming.
I bought this to mix with the rooibos peach. It smells great.
My #1 favorite tea. I'm truly addicted to this stuff. Wonderful flavor.
This is a very good cup of tea. I thought at first it would be too perfumy to drink, but I was pleasantly suprised by the softness of this tea. It requires nothing more than 3 min of steeping for a wonderful cup. I am a huge an of this tea.
My favorite tea, but so expensive that I can't afford to drink it everyday.
I love this tea. It's smooth and has great jasmine flavor. I like it better than Stash's dragon phoenix jasmine pearl. I will order again!
First loose leaf tea i tried and wow this stuff is awesome. This particular tea has an amazing flowery aftertaste. Definitely be buying more of this.
I am partial to jasmines and this is the first one I've ordered from Adagio. It has a lovely scent and taste, but a little subtle for me (even after adjusting the time and amount brewed - I think it's just a mild tea). Overall, quite nice.
