By far my favorite oolong . . . delightful relaxing tea.
Perfumy hand-rolled tea from Fuding, in Fujian, China. Each pearl is just one leaf and a bud. When added to hot water, the pearls majestically unfurl, releasing a delicate scent and flavor. Sweet and almost sugary.

By far my favorite oolong . . . delightful relaxing tea.
This is a really nice, smooth, premium green tea. I love to drink this tea really hot, and I love the smell of this one - it's hard to describe, but sort of refreshing. However, flavour-wise, I'm not sure it's worth the $25... there are some other excellent greens that are quite a bit less expensive.
My favorite jasmine, and the tea blooms are quite nice to watch unfold.
A great quality jasmine that isn't too flowery and does not easily become bitter. I don't know if the taste justifies the cost - I rely on the other jasmines for my regular drinking.
I love this tea. It's very floral, with just the perfect amount of body. The jasmine flavor is great on its own; no need for sweeteners. I highly recommend this. Definitely worth the price.
Very nice floral scent. Smells very much like honeysuckle. This tea tends to be more of a treat for me because of its high cost. Perfect for a cool morning.
This is my favorite Jasmine based tea. It is light and flowery with enough body to know that you're drinking a good tea. Sweet enough on its own that no sweetener is needed and unless severly overbrewed has no bitterness
I'm new to jasmine tea so this might be one that will have to grow on me.
This is a good jasmine, and we drink it frequently. The second and third brewings are as good or better than the first.
It seemed very weak tasting, even with longer steeping or adding more tea leaves at the start.
This is my very 1st Jasmine.
Raw leaf observations: I love teas that are as much of a delight to watch steep as drink when they are finished. The tightly rolled leaves have a smooth and slightly sweet aroma, nothing similiar to a pu erh as some oolongs have.
Steeping method: 2.25g of pearls in 6oz of purified water heated at 195 degrees F for 5 min in Adagio's IngenuiTEA.
I'm surprised at the light yellowish-amber liquor of the 1st infusion. By far not as light as a green or white tea, but definitely lighter than most of the oolongs I've tried.
It smells just like it did in the tin, although a bit more pronounced. A smooth and sweet scent, yet not flowery or perfumey like rose might be.
This is much more positive than my last oolong experience. It tastes just like it smells. It's not weak for my tastes although a bit weaker than I expect from an oolong. It does not have a strong punch of flavor that you'd get from a black tea. It's lighter and smoother. It doesn't upset my stomach like most black and flowery teas do.
2nd infusion: 6 min. Hmmm... Interesting. This infusion is darker than the 1st. The smell is a bit stronger as well which makes me wonder if there's more caffeine in this infusion than the 1st. While this infusion is stronger, it's not too strong. It's a personal preference as to which one a person might prefer but both are not just drinkable, but good.
3rd infusion: 7 min. Lighter in liquor, aroma, and taste than the 2nd but yet still stronger than the 1st. Still very good. I think I'm going to switch to something else now, but I'd think one could get a 4th good infusion out of this and I will try next time I desire an oolong. I can see myself buying this one again.
I have never been a big fan of oolong by itself. I would reccommend rooibos jasmine and other oolong mixes.
A fantastoc Oolong. Smooth flavor, and it's fun to watch the pearls unfold in the water as it brews. Best Oolong I've ever had.
Fantastic flavor, I absolutely loved it. It was really neat to watch the pearls unfurl, my 7 year old neice was facscinated watching it (haha). Anyways, give this tea a try, it's definitely worth it.
This tea is allot of fun to watch steep and extremely aromatic. Unfortunately the flavor was not to my liking.
i generally don't like oolong tea, but i like this one. it has a very unique flavor
I love this tea! It is by far one of my favorites! It is very light [i only use 7 pearls per cup]. Also, it gives me a nice feeling of being relaxed. Fell asleep and slept like a baby after drinking Would definitely buy again!
The tea was good, but I made the mistake of putting too much tea leaves at first and the jasmine was over powering. Once I got the correct amount of tea it has proven to be a good flavor for the afternoon.
Very good tea. Much more flowery than the #9, very enjoyable indeed!
Having never tried an oolong tea before, I am extremely impressed with the fragrance and taste! I will be a regular buyer of this tea. I am also very happy to have read the story of the tea farmer of the month who produces this. His passion for making this tea is amazing, and I am very, very happy to support such a positive person! This tea is very calming for me, and I am so glad I found it.
this is definatly a great tea to share with a friend.
Really fine, more delicate and harder to ruin than other jasmine teas.
An excellent jasmine tea. Nice and light, not too flowery.
The floral taste is subtle and slightly sweet without being overpowering. It's a near-perfect tea.
Beautiful. Perfumey and light, the perfect eveming tea to wind up your day without keeping you up all night.
My favorite tea, period. Rather light - I tend to overbrew it a little for more flavor. But it never gets bitter and smells and tastes divine.
This is a wonderful tea - perfect alone or blended with another type of tea. Try it with strawberry or cherry - delicious aroma and wonderful taste!
I didn't enjoy this tea as much as other Jasmine teas that I have tried before. It was very mild..and I just didn't seem to like the flavor very much. Like there was barely anything there.
I enjoy watching these little 'balls' unwind as the tea steeps.
Wonderful tea anytime of the day - light and delicate. Usually good for 2-3 steeps!
Only having tried jasmine tea in teabag form from the local supermarked, I found that jasmine tea was not for me. Then I tried this little beauty, and I'm hooked. I just love the smell and the delicious taste. I'd say you never had jasmine tea, until you have tried this one. Absolutely fantastic oolong tea.
Having never tried Jasmine tea before, I ordered the sample to try it out. I'm a green/white tea fan, but this tea was simply undrinkable. The smell, however, was absolutely heavenly and I considered keeping the sample just to brew in the background.
This tea smells and tastes great. Watching the leaves unfurl is like getting a show while waiting for your tea to steep.
my first jasmine tea and it was great. perfect evening tea.
Amazing tea! I am not a fan of perfumey teas, but this one tastes so natural, I'm hooked!
Love this tea. My husband is a jasmine fanatic, and now instead of going out for chinese food, just so we can have tea, I can make my own that's 100 times better.
We purchased a sampler and like the taste. We will be purchasing more.
Delicate and fragrant, this tea is so reminiscent of my childhood drinking tea with my grandfather and eating sweets.
Jasmine #12 - Wow. First of all, I must say, that this tea is so beautiful I would drink it even if it tasted like coffee. The look of this tea is the first thing you will notice. Second, the smell. Very nice, the jasmine is very distinct. The third thing I hope you'll notice is what happens when this tea is steeped - it's like watching a time-lapsed film of a flower growing. It's really something! The color of the brewed tea is a nice yellowish color which is slightly cloudy. The taste is very nice. If I had to say something negative about this it would be only that the taste of the jasmine almost completely overpowers that of the oolong (in my opinion.) I would definitely by this tea again.
This was my first jasmine tea, and also my first oolong tea. I'm so glad I tried it! I oversteeped it the second time I made it and it was very bitter, so pay attention to the times and temperatures! Oolong is very sensitive. This tea was so perfect and smooth. The jasmine lingered in your mouth and tasted lovely. I'll be ordering more of this very soon :)
Jasmine pearl tea is expensive, but well worth the price. One of my new favorites.
I adore jasmine tea, it's what I order whenever I go to dim sum. I love the sweetness that this tea offers and the wonderful presentation of this particular green tea.
Lovely tea. Not too floral, can be steeped several times with different notes developing each time. Base tea is well-balanced and substantive, without being overpowering.
This is an absolutely wonderful tea. The jasmine isn't overpowering, but there's enough flavor there to be satisfying. I have found that the 1 tsp for 1 c of water works perfectly for this tea. After the first brew, I add some decaf citron and get a great tasting second cup.
It's a high quality tea. If you like Jasmine, this is your tea!
However, I'm not big into jasmine, so I won't be reordering. Cool to watch though, and worth a sample.
I inherited this tea from a friend, she thought if was tooo perfumy. I LOVE THIS TEA!!! I would buy more of it, except for the cost, although other websites have it for a WHOLE LOT MORE. So buying it from Adagio...trust me...it's a bargain
I bought this tea as a gift for my boyfriend. He, his friend, and I all love this tea. It was absolutely sublime and smelled heavenly. This is a definite will buy again tea.
This is my favorite tea, morning or afternoon. The scent is amazing, and the flavor is even better. I'm having trouble describing why I love it, because it's that great.
Amazing jasmine; this is so worth the extra cost over the normal infused jasmines.
Best tea ever! Superb jasmine aroma. Mild complex flavoer. Medium body and color. It is the perfect tea.
