I found it to be temperamental not that all oolong tea is not but sadly my bf ruined it for me by placeing the tea on top of the stove and i didnt realize it for a week :(
opening the package, the tea smells amazing..had a small aftertaste of potpurri but enjoyable

nothing beats a good jasmine tea, and this is a good one! the only one that's better is the fujian jasmine pearl from the masters collection (which is exquisite and definitely worth the money, but becomes a special occasion tea because of the cost.)jasmine #12 is still a bit expensive but it is more reasonably justifiable for drinking more often.
Though I'm a huge fan of green tea, this was my first experience with jasmine green tea. Thus, I worry I can't accurately attest to the relative quality of this variety of jasmine-infused tea. While I enjoyed the tea, I can't imagine drinking it daily (I found the jasmine over powering and the tea a bit bitter)--it's more of a novelty for me.

The best jasmine oolong I have ever had! Absolutely divine. Absolutely the perfect amount of jasmine flavour. Can be VERY floral smelling if steeped too long.

Best jasmine tea I've had in awhile. Now the unfurled types on this site might be great as well, but I believe you are getting a better deal with the pearl variety. Reason being, if you leave proper room to steep these pearls expand 5-fold in your cup. Resteeping this tea will unfurl them even more so you get a lot of tea in each pearl. I recommend 8-10 pearls per 2 cups.

This tea is the absolute BEST tea that I have ever experienced in my lifetime. It is so aromatic and leaves ones breath with a hint of floral. The leaves open up as if the jasmine were blooming. This tea is a sensation for the senses. The taste and the aesthetic appeal is second to none.

The great review had me interested, so I got a sampe to try. My first thought was this smells really perfumey...but maybe the taste will be good. Nope, tastes really perfumey too. It was awful. I tried, but just couldn't bring myself to drink even half a cup.
This tea is absolutely amazing. First of all, it looks like some sort of weird alien egg, and you can watch it hatch in the pot. The tea is slightly sweet and incredibly aromatic. It is a bit pricy, but a little goes a long way and it is worthy of being a very very special treat.
This is a beautiful tea that tastes amazing. I brew it in a small, clear pot and the leaves are really long and full. I've resteeped this up to five times and it's still great each time!
Oh My Goodness, this tea has a wonderful honeysuckle smell and the taste is out of this world, plus seeing the leaves expand upon brewing is fun too!
This tea has the taste of a dirty sock. I tried several different temperatures and steeping times; nothing worked for me.

Such a beautiful tea! I use the large plastic infuser so can watch as these little oears unfold into the most beautiful leaves. And the scent pre-steeping the tea was a bit of a question mark to me as they smell strongly on oolong but no jasmine. But once steeped the scent of the jasmine is so strong and vibrant I wished I could wear it as a perfume. Just a wonderful tea to drink in those heady jasmine notes both in taste and in scent! One word of caution, I did not overload the steeper and thought I had added too few of the nuggets but ended up with a very strong cup. I re-steeped this batch three times and the flavor was never gone just more subtle with each steeping. Definitely on my always keep on hand list!

This is the most delicious tea we have ever purchased. Smooth tasting, soothing, calming and our very favorite. We would recommend this tea to anyone .

This tea is, like the black dragon pearls, rather expensive. It is tasty, but not worth the extra expense; buy a cheaper jasmine tea and get comparable taste.
This is the tea I reach for when I want to unwind. It has a delicate, honey-like flavor and a beautifully sensual jasmine scent. I let it steep about 4 minutes because it does take a little time for the tea to unfurl and begin to infuse.
This tea smells fantastic but it is a very strong smell and it has a slightly metallic tang to me. Its good but be ready for that - its almost TOO flowery. I might be making it with water that is too hot - I make it at work so I can't control the water with what I have here

By far the best jasmine I've tasted. I tend to use more pearls than sugested because I like mine stronger. Doesn't get that bitter aftertaste that the #5 can sometimes get.

This is my wife's favorite tea, and mine too. It tastes very green and is very soothing and calming; sometimes I like to add a little sugar but it's also very good without.
This jasmine is actually pretty good, and that's coming from someone who doesn't really enjoy jasmine teas too much. As with any other jasmine, though, don't over-steep it, or you'll be drinking perfume.
