Jasmine phoenix pearls are beautiful to watch bloom in a clear ingenuiTEA teapot. The tea is a very smooth, delicate favor that I prefer to drink plain and have yet to hear a complaint from any evening tea party guests that need a 'little pep' to get motivated to drive home that don't want to 'fall asleep at the wheel'. I highly recommend it!

Delicious jasmine flavor, not overpowering, but delicate.

absolutely my favorite of the pearl teas adagio has. I know many people buy it because you can watch it unfurl but I just buy it for its simple jasmine taste and rich aroma. every time I order tea I always restock on this.

I am going to buy this in bulk. My favorite green tea. (If not favorite in general)

This is my favorite green tea to share with friends. The aroma when adding the hot water and while the ta is brewing is delightful, and just a prelude to the wonderful flavor of this tea. Not to mention the health benefits of a cup of green tea to start the day! I love watching the pearls unfurl in my brewer. There is no bitter aftertaste -- and I can get two brewings from the same pearls

my favorite jasmine tea. i will definitely continue ordering.

So sweet and subtle! Be careful that you do not oversteep it though (even by a minute or so) as it can became super bitter and undrinkable very quickly! Otherwise, with a little bit of honey, this tastes amazing and is very relaxing :]

This is my favorite jasmine tea. The flavor is perfect and it is very aromatic I will surely buy this again!

Next to Gyokuro this is absolutely my favorite green. I'm looking forward to try the masters version next time I place an order.

Not a big green tea fan...but this was amazing. Loved this tea, makes for a very relaxing evening whenever I drink it.

Another staple in my tea cupboard. Very smooth tea and great to drink any time. Only thing I'm not so crazy about is steeping time. You really REALLY have to watch the time when brewing this because it can get bitter REAL quick if you steep it too long. Great tea, though! Highly recommended.

I think this just may be a matter of personal preference, but the jasmine phoenix pearls were not my thing. There isn't anything specific to pinpoint as a negative, it just wasn't my favorite.
★★★★★
I found that this was comparable to Jasmine Yin Hao, but sweeter and more smooth. The pearls also re-steep better. I think it would make a perfect latte, and would also taste great iced. I don't think you can over-steep, either.

I love this tea! It is very sweet and smooth, and smells AMAZING. I like to mix it with a little Wuyi ensemble oolong, the flavors work well together. Be careful not to steep it too long by itself, the flavor can get a little bitter. But overall, a great tea!

Jasmine #12 will always be my favorite adagio tea. I've been enjoying these for 8 years now and no other tea from adagio can come close. Fantastic!

An almost sweet floral tea, but the jasmine is definitely not too overpowering. Really LOVED this one. The pearls are beautiful, and watching them unfurl was yet another enjoyable step in the tea process. Worth the price for sure. Careful not to oversteep or use to high of a temperature.

This is a great tea. I am a big fan of jasmine so this tea works very well for me. Despite being a green tea, I didn't get a lot of really grassy flavors.
★★★★★
This is one of my favorite green teas, leaves with a pleasant light mouthfeel and smells of floral honey suckles. This reminds me of the area in West Virginia I used to spend nights as a young adult, the entire area smelled of honey suckles, and this really takes me back to those times. quite amazing

A decent Jasmine tea, but for an amazing experience, shell out a bit more cash for the Master's version.

Fantastic cup of tea. Rich with chocolatey accents. Watching each pearl unfurl is possibly one of the funnest five minutes in tea. I rarely drink this tea if I don't have the time to sit down and watch it while it steeps.

My first Jasmine tea ever. Smells fantastic, and does have a good taste to it. However, I find the jasmine flavor to be very perfumey. I did enjoy it, but I don't think jasmines are 'my cup of tea' unless there are some out there that aren't quite this strong. If you are new to jasmines and would like to try this one, I suggest buying the sample, I am glad I did.

I really miss the old packaging when they gave tea canisters with the purchase
★★★★☆
Kind of bland/unflavorful with no sweetner. Tastes great with light agave. Brings out the floral tastes. Scent is delightful.

I bought this tea because I was due to get my wisdom teeth removed. I wanted a calming green tea to drink while I recovered and so far it's hit the spot! I am actually quite sad I only bought 4oz of this delicious tea. I'm drinking it constantly and it has replaced my Fuijan Rain oolong as my favorite tea!
★★★★☆
Delicious! However, I find it to be a little too mild for my liking.

I bought 1 pound of this jasmine phoenix pearls tea based reviewers' comments and 5 star rating. I've been drinking this for the past week. I have to say that I can only give barely 4 stars. As someone grew up in China, I drink jasmine tea everyday. The jasmine tea I have been drinking was bought directly in China up till I finished all and had to find some here in the US. I found some in our local organic co-op store: pearl jasmine tea: $64/lb. a bit more expensive then sold here but they look almost the same. I have to say that tea is much better then the Adagio jasmine phoenix pearls. Once I pour hot water on them, my the fragrance of the jasmine of my co-op tea comes out right away, vs. I can't smell any jasmine fragrance from the jasmine pears phoenix. It is a strong green tea, but not much jasmine flavor. I have to go back to my co-op tea or buy directly from China

So every time I try a new tea I say it's my favorite. I'm saying it again. I love this tea. When I opened the bag I told my husband I wanted to use it as potpourri it smells that amazing. Luckily he convinced me to brew a cup and it tastes just as great as it smells. I will definitely buy again.

This tea rocks! First off it is really pleasing to look at and smell. The pearls unravel a bit which is cool in my opinion. For some reason I like this tea strong so I steep it longer (I normally do not do this with my teas). So good I'm buying it again!

Not just great, excellent! This was added as a sampler and I simply look forward to when I get back to the States to buy some more. Do 2-3 pearls in your favorite mug and ohgod, the jasmine is some of the best. As an American tea, this is wonderful. Asian teas are a little different and I just got back from a weekend tea adventure where I did nothing but study the nuances of Asian tea, and I can tell you that the jasmine is not shy for those of you that only drink Asian teas like tieguanyin or whatnot. Strangely, it is also lacking the bitterness that comes with Asian jasmine teas as well. I don't really care- love these pearls.

No wonder this is the top rated green tea. It is amazing. It was the best cup of jasmine tea that I've ever had. Uncle Iroh would love this.

What a beautiful green tea! I am not a lover of floral teas or green teas, but the flavor of this is so delicate and exquisite that I had to write a review. The jasmine is a wonderful flavor, not fake or cloying, but simple and elegant. It's a rare tea that I enjoy a single cup of on a special day.
★★★★★
Got a free sample of this with my recent order-LOVE it. Best jasmine green tea I've had and far better than teavana's version of the pearls. Very flavorful and worth every penny. will be purchasing a full size now. great for mutiple infusions too.
★★★★★
Having had other jasmine teas I was a little skeptical at first, however this tea nails the perfect balance of floral aroma and genuine green tea enjoyment. The floral aroma is not too powerful and after having a cup of it you might actually crave another right away.

This tea is amazing! I wasn't expecting to like the floral aspect, having had jasmine tea in restaurants before, but this one is very high quality and delicious. The first steep is very floral, but still lovely, the second and third cups are the best, and the fourth cup still have a nice balance. Will definitely reorder.

These little pearls are delicious and oh so fun to watch unfurl! With a slightly sweet and mellow flavor they are a great way to wind down at the end of the day. One of my all time favorite teas. Highly recommended!
★★★★★
This is a great everyday jasmine tea. I won't have anything else, other than the fujian which costs quite a bit more. I like steeping it at a lower temp for a bit longer sometimes if I want a more potent drink without the bitterness. 17 -18 for 4-5.

A wonderful jasmine tea. It's beautiful to watch brew, and has a nice balance between the jasmine and the green tea elements. We were able to steep this 3 times on one set of tea leaves, each one having slightly different character. Would definitely order this again.

Found a hair in my FIRST cup rolled in together with one of the leaves. Apparently after 62 years farmer lin chui has never heard of cleanliness. I mean just look at that picture where they roll the tea. Not exactly a clean place.
Do not get this tea.

Best green tea I have ever tried from adagio, one of the best flavors on the site.

When I feel like something different I have a cup of this Jasmine tea. I'm not that fond of flower tasting tea.
★★★★★
Love this tea! Have always loved a good jasmine tea, and this one does not disappoint. The flavor, the aroma, this cup of tea made my day.
★★★★☆
Imagine a soft and mellow dose of jasmine. This tea reminds me of the jasmine silver needle tea, except this one is just a touch lighter. The aroma is perfect, not too overpowering like some jasmine teas.
★★★★★
Very often, tea will have an enlightening smell, but once you get it in your mouth, it all but disappear... Not with this one!
Even though I made it a little light (loose pearls), the flavor was crisp, and deliciously jasminy (I know it's not a real word! LOL!)
If you like Jasmine tea, this is the one to get!

This is by far the best jasmine tea I've ever had! I was at first hesitant about the price, but you can get at least 3-4 strong cups out of one teaspoon. The pearls brew again and again, each time just as strong and fresh as the last. This is an excellent jasmine tea without any bitterness. Try it and you'll never go back!

Not as good as other jasmine teas I have had. But yes, it is good.

Wow, fragrant and gorgeous! I would lower the amount of tea leaves than was directed (1.5 tsp) as it is very fragrant. I've steeped 3 times but wonder if I could get more out of the pearls if I tried.
