Aesthetically-speaking, this is the loveliest tea ever, in both looks and smell. I adore these pearls, and have fun serving them to company. And because the tea is more compact, a lot fewer bits leak out through my tea ball. And, of course, the taste is delicious.
The flavor was a bit too much plant for me. very strong, but a good representative of the overall category.

I didn't know if I would like green teas, as I haven't when buying them out and about, I had a feeling that the higher quality ones brewed correctly would probably taste much better, I'm glad I gave them a try here, These Phoenix Pearls are amazing, they really pack some flavor, I get at least two great tasting cups outta a small teaspoon! If anyone hasn't tried ordering quality loose tea they really should, there is no comparison to boxed teas in the supermarket, the quality of boxed tea is horrible compared to fresh loose leaf!
Steep it or a little longer to really bring out the flavor. A good green that can handle a few steepings!

This tea is good sometimes and great sometimes. The first time I ordered it, the jasmine was amazing-it lingered on the tongue in a very pleasant way. The next time, it didn't have that effect, but it was good, and a nice accompaniment to a piece of dark chocolate.

If you enjoy Jasmine tea, you will love this! After trying several different jasmine teas, this is definitely my favorite, and I order it whenever I can! It's great steeped a teaspoonful at a time, but to enhance my tea-drinking experience, I delight to drink it the way my Chinese friend taught me: for the first steep, I drop about 5 pearls into my cup, and steep a little extra-long. Then,of course, after watching the pearls unfurl, I add a little yummy local honey...then, just keep re-steeping through the day, and add another pearl or two. Marvelous!

My absolute favorite. Relaxation in a glass. The jasmine is present on the nose and in the cup, and it's great. Subsequent resteeps will have more green tea astringency and less jasmine, but that's usually how these things go. This tea is one I always keep in stock.
I do so love this tea. I've had plenty of jasmine teas, and nothing beats Adagio's dragon pearls. Fresh, sweet, and has a nice jasmine aroma.
Best. Tea. Ever. A delightfully darker-peridot color'd brew with this aromatic punch to the nostrils, while being deceptively sweet and subtle. All that with the added attraction of watching these little gems flower into big-bright leaves...
PS: If I catch anyone of you trying to SWEETEN this tea...let's just say the things I'd do are unspeakable. You can't top perfect.
This tea absolutely knocked my socks off. It was my first time buying green tea, and I was excited to see these were good for more than one steeping.
After brewing, I was left with a cuppa that both smelled and tasted amazing. The jasmine scent was phenomenal. I'm notorious for adding a lot of sugar with my tea--not this time! I added just a bit, and it was amazing from start to finish. Even towards the end, where it started getting a bit cold was delicious. I'd have tried it full cold, but I couldn't put the cup down long enough!
The second steeping, was actually even better! I suppose because the leaves are already unfurled. The third was about to the level of the first. I tried for a fourth time, and it was pretty horrible, but from reading the reviews on here, perhaps I should have tried hotter water. Regardless, getting three cups of tea from one teabag makes for a fantastic morning, and definitely worth the little bit extra these cost. I definitely plan to buy again!

The first cup didn't have much taste but by the second steep it was flavorful and quite delicious. I usually don't steep more than twice with my teas, however you could easily make several cups with one teaspoon of this. Makes for an excellent deal.
