The tea itself is good. I am just not a fan of flowery tea as much as I have tried to do so. It tastes great but the aftertaste is not to my taste.
I have tried several other jasmine pearl teas from other places, and this one has been the best. It's a very fragrant tea and you have to be careful to not over steep lest you want a bitter brew. I find that this tea is best brewed multiple times in small batches. The later brews worked better with hotter water and a longer steeping time.

I bought these after loving the sample I received in the master's collection tin. This is a more affordable option that tastes fulfilling, but does not meet the bar that the Fujian pearls set. I really thought the jasmine scent was wonderful throughout my three steepings and the taste was quite smooth. I can see this being a permanent buy in my future.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the Jasmine Pearls but decided to try them because of the great ratings. I love it. I can't even describe the flavor. Grassy, but has an almost floral quality to it as well. Really good green tea.
This is a nice jasmine pearl tea. I would have liked for it to be a bit stronger, but it just takes extra pearls to make it the strength that I prefer. Overall a good tea.

Excellent tea. I have been getting 3-4 brews per batch of leaves. The tea is very sweet and mild. I usually put a little more than the recommended heaping teaspoon per cup.

I read the reviews and know a lot of people really love this tea. Jasmine is my favorite tea, so I had high hopes for the Jasmine Phoenix Pearls. On opening the tea, it has a beautiful floral scent. However, brewing as directed, and then even brewing stronger than directed, I can barely taste either the jasmine flowers or the tea itself.
Something about this tea is just fantastic. I'm not the biggest fan of green tea but this one has me hooked.
This has always been my number one favorite. The only downside is if you leave it sitting any longer than four minutes, it can get a very gross over brew flavor.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite tea. I brew it according to instructions and receive a brew that smells and tastes delicious. To my uninformed palate, it seems delicate and flowery. I'm not looking for a jolt in the morning: I want to wake up and smell the flowers.
This tea is smooth and silky to the taste. I added a teaspoon of pearls to a tea infuser cup (gifted from a friend from China) and steeped it for 3 minutes for the first cup. I got three cups out of the amount used letting each cup steep just a tad longer. All 3 were delicious. This is a tea that is great all by itself, great for a mid afternoon treat. I will definitely purchase more once it is all consumed.
Jasmine Phoenix Pearl is an amazing tea that has a wonderful floral smell that reminded me of Lilacs (or Jasmine of course) after opening it for the first time. The taste is also floral but with a familiar green/oolong palate. Definitely an enjoyable cup of flavorful tea!

I think I found a jasmine flower among the pearls. They're simply beautiful. Nothing is more relaxing than watching these pearls bloom and unfold.
As for the taste. I noticed I had to chill it in order to notice the more subtle tastes. I tried to make a second batch but it came out incredibly bitter as I had oversteeped it.
