Jasmine Phoenix Pearls Customer Reviews

Perfumy hand-rolled tea from Fuding, in Fujian, China. Each pearl is just one leaf and a bud. When added to hot water, the pearls majestically unfurl, releasing a delicate scent and flavor. Sweet and almost sugary.

A little goes a long way! Such a perfect jasmine scent and flavor without being too strong.

Jasmine phoenix pearls is one of my favorite hot teas. It's perfect for a pick me up in the afternoon.

Adiago has the best tea compared to its competitors. After trying other so-called high-quality teas, I always must return to Adiago.

★★★★★

Interesting taste. Almost a little minty. Still tasted nice with honey and lemon

Amazing tea. A feel good, day brighter. My favorite mid afternoon pleasure. The aroma alone feeds the soul. Love, love, love!

This is a consistent re-purchase for me. Beautiful delicate jasmine flavor and it smells incredible to boot.

★★★★★

I'm normally picky on my green teas, but this has been a favourite of mine since the Teavana days. A light, pleasant flavour!

★★★★★

I sprang for these and they do not disappoint. Lovely fragrance and body to the tea. I experimented with mixing these with Adagio's Earl Grey Supreme (1:1) trying to get close to their Black Jasmine Song (pricey!), which I adore. It gets pretty close.

★★★★★

I enjoyed Jasmine Phoenix Pearls green tea. I tried it as a sample.

So very cool to watch! Definitely suggest brewing in a glass cup, glass teapot or even a jar. Fun to watch the leaves unfurl.
Sip while hot! It does get more bitter over time as it sits and cools

Unfurls beautifully in my teapot, has a pleasant taste and it's a very nice green tea basic. I like to blend it with other teas that have flavoring

★★★★★

I like the sweet floral notes of the jasmine in edition to the green tea. If you like green tea but want some variety, try this one!

★★★★★

A very calming, Earthy tea! A very green floral taste, a lot like Lilac, but warm rather than refreshing. Lovely on its own, but also wonderful with milk and honey

Incredible. my favorite green tea i've had so far, definitely plan on getting some soon

This tea smells fantastic and tastes great too. It is a great place to start for jasmine tea and brews very sweet. Love it.

★★★★★

Went a bit lower and slower on this one. Am not disappointed. Strong, luscious jasmine scent that isn't cloying, or fake perfume-y. Spring and summer in a cup! Not a whole lot of other flavor besides jasmine; the tea pearls are surprisingly delicate. Each exhalation smells and tastes like wonderful jasmine. Compared to jasmine yinhao (sp?), this is a much more enjoyable jasmine scent/taste. Potential for a second brew-through, far more delicate that the first. Not a timid jasmine, but not so aggressive it's going to mug your palate in a back alley.
Mind you, I had this entirely unsweetened. There IS a floral sweetness natural to this type of tea, but I imagine a little honey and/or vanilla, and this has potential to replace dessert in a sophisticated way.

Goodness gracious. Imagining it iced has me asking some serious questions, in particular as to why I have been amateuring my summer tea game. Wow. Self reflection leads to improvement I guess! Will update the next time I give that a try.

This is one of my favorite Jasmine teas. Several brews and the flavor becomes sweeter. Very floral. Can be strong, and can be delicate depending on different brewing times

A very light and delicious tea. I think it's a great tea for any floral lovers, but if you don't like light or flowery teas, you probably won't be a fan.

I loved this tea! It is so fragrant and had a great flavor

For some reason I gave I gave this tea a try even though I usually don't like jasmine tea. It was a pleasant surprise. The fragrance and taste were lightly floral and not cloying which is what I have experience with jasmine tea in the past. I will definitely purchase this again.

This tea is on auto delivery for my dad. Great tea for someone who is looking for a tasty tea with a nice floral aroma.

★★★★★

I love jasmine tea. The pearls are fun to watch. It isn't overpowering or strong, just a great floral tea.

★★☆☆☆

I should have ordered a sample only before buying this. The existing reviews are correct that this is tea has both a strong perfume smell and unfortunately to me also tastes almost like soap.
I tried hot, warm, cold and couldn't finish the first cup. Sadly this one is going in the discard bin. I wanted to like it as it was fun to brew with the small rolled balls of tea. I guess I am not a Jasmine fan.

Hands down my most comforting tea. I feel like this tea perfectly taste like the vibe of rainy spring dew and has the same comfort level as autumn drinks and winter ciders, but with less really intense flavor. Its subtle but nice.

I love this jasmine tea! Watch the pearls unfold, and the aroma of jasmine that slowly releases at the same time. This tea can be brewed a second time by increasing the temperature by 5 degrees and the time by a minute. It must not be brewed too long!

It is a very good scented tea and the tea's flavor is amazing. Does take a second to get used to it, but it's addicting afterwards.

This is pretty wild to have 100 character limit. That is the minimum of characters that you can type in this review and 100 characters is quite a few. I have no idea what to say about Jasmine Phoenix pearls it green tea put hot water in it and you let it seep and then you drink your tea, then you go and put your cup in the sink and you don’t wash it for three days until you run out of cups and then you’re forced to watch them is 100 characters yet apparently it’s not 100 characters yet that is insane to me honestly Jasmine Phoenix turtles Janice Jackson, famous protest curls

Not a huge fan of jasmine tea. It is a little too perfume tasting for me. I added honey and a bit of cream and froth.

This is a solid Jasmine tea, I have a cup of green tea to start my day and I would happily add this into the rotation. It's well balanced and the floral aroma makes me happy

It's a nice, gentle green tea that's good for relaxing and feeling fancy. Best to brew it in a clear pot so you can see the pearls unravel.

★★★★☆

If you like floral teas, this one is a nice option. It's one of the few teas I don't add sweetener to because it truly doesn't need it. The jasmine essence takes over your taste buds, which made my tongue tingle a tiny bit. Simply delightful.

I love jasmine! 2 min @ 165. I love to steep these pearls in my Ingenuitea 2 so I can see them open. I resteep multiple times and love inhaling the aroma. Delicious both hot and cold brewed.

Light and stunning, soft and well balanced; this is a little gem of a jasmine tea. The scent is heavenly, but the tea itself is not overly floral. It's perfect for introducing someone to the magic of jasmine.

Where this tea is too strong a floral for me, my daughter loved it. I prefer this one mixed with other teas, especially fruity ones. It’s a very light green, not too vegetal or green. It’s a beautiful tea to watch unfurl as it steeps. It was a treat to have today with the CT.

There is no doubt this is a jasmine scented tea, as soon as you open the package. 2 to 3 steeps from this one. I wish I could drink this one all day every day.

Terrible experience I tried repeatedly to contact Adagio about the poor product quality of the tea I received but their response was that I could return it. Well can't do that either because the returns program doesn't work. Don't buy anything from this company because they don't stand behind it.

A wonderful jasmine tea with a nice aroma and taste. Love this one! It’s a tea I order consistently.

This is the best jasmine tea I've tried, and I've tried many options at Adagio, and from other vendors. It has the perfect subtle jasmine flavor, not too strong, not too weak. I do not add anything to the tea. I steep this for 3.5 minutes at 195F.

Just wonderful. This tea has a soft, airy flavor that reminds me of watching flowers bloom on a dewy spring morning.

I LOVE the smell of this tea but I wish the flavor was better. It turns bitter very easily so you have to be precise with the temp and steep time. Nonetheless I would still purchase this again because the smell is divine.
