Jasmine Phoenix Pearls Customer Reviews

Perfumy hand-rolled tea from Fuding, in Fujian, China. Each pearl is just one leaf and a bud. When added to hot water, the pearls majestically unfurl, releasing a delicate scent and flavor. Sweet and almost sugary.

Jasmine and green tea that compliment, not overwhelm each other. Also really poured over ice-- brew it double strength and you'll have a refreshing, floral green tea with a jasmine edge.

So refreshing and blends well with other flavors. I've blended it with peach bellini, kona pineapple, and wild strawberry.

★★★★★

Worth the splurge, great tea and you can tell the grower puts heart into it. I sent in the card, I would recommend you do the same if you enjoy. Give the grower your thanks and support! =)

I really enjoy the Jasmine in this, and how it revs me up during my afternoon slump. I just prefer teas from Taiwan over China. Mostly because AliShan Oolong is my favorite tea of all time, but because I respect the democratic nature of Taiwan and far better ecological practices there when compared to China. I’m never quite sure what may have contaminated tea leaves from China.

Purchased this tea for a friend and she said it was delicious! I might just have to get it for myself next!

★★★★☆

One of my favorites! I love the soft jasmine flavor. I tend to hoarde this one and not share with others.

Didn't care for This tea. To perfumey. Just not my type.

Another one of my faves! It smells so wonderful and delicious! It only has a moderate amount of caffeine so I can drink it even in the late afternoon. I drink it plain. No sugar or cream. No need to mess with this tea!

★★★★★

Beautiful fragrance and flavor. Not overpowering.

★★★★★

This is some of the best tea around. The floral flavor is delicate, but is perfectly paired with high quality green tea. Multiple steeps are welcome. The second steep seems to be the best.

Interesting, but for me, too floral, especially for the price. I probably won't get it again, but this tea does what it does well, it's just not for me.

★★☆☆☆

I don't know if I got a bad batch, but this stuff smells and tastes like medicine.

★★★★★

This is a more expensive tea, but it was worth every penny!

★★★★★

Really great flavor and absolutely perfect for mornings!

★★★★★

Such a smooth and delightful green tea. I wish it didn't cost a small fortune.

Excellent. The jasmine and green are complimentry!

Jasmine Phoenix Pearls is the absolute perfect tea. It is light, yet flavorful, and very aromatic. I'd recommend this tea for beginner tea drinkers (my boyfriend just started drinking tea and has made it every morning since we brought it home), as well as the tea connoisseurs out there.

★★★★★

My favorite tea I've ordered from adagio. Seriously worth trying!

★★★★★

One of the best teas adagio sells and worth the price. The floral notes at not too overpowering and compliment the green tea flavor perfectly.

★★★★★

A great, light tea perfect for a slow morning or curling up after a long day

★★★★☆

This is good but it gets bitter very quickly. Be sure not to steep it too long. It also gets more bitter the cooler it gets so make sure you drink it quickly! It has a wonderful flavor when it is brewed right.

★★★★☆

The aroma of this tea is amazing. I imagine sitting in a flower garden when I smell this, however the aroma carries a bit too much into the flavor profile in my opinion. I tried a few different temp's and brew times but kept getting a little too much jasmine for my taste.

This tea tastes as good as it smells. It’s beautiful! Definitely worth the indulgence..

★★★★☆

It was a little too flowery for me the first time around, possibly from overstepping, but with a little honey and a shorter time it was actually pretty nice

★★★★★

This is probably my absolute favorite comfort tea. It has a lovely floral note, and is especially good hot.

★★★★★

Tried a sample of this and really liked it. Would order more in the future. Very good.

★★★★★

I find the taste and scent of this tea so calming. Great for during the work day.

★★★☆☆

Tasted many jasmine teas and I don't seem to enjoy them much. They usually become too astringent and sour for my liking. This one is no different. Only the first 2 gongfu short time infusions bring out enough jasmine smell and taste without being overpowering but 3rd and onwards, tea becomes too sour. If you like extra sour floral taste and more astringent kick you might enjoy this one, for me though, it’s just ok.

Brewed at 300 milliliter of 175F water on 10 grams of tea with infusions consisting of 10 seconds and adding 3 seconds after the 2nd infusion.

★★★★★

I loves these, they taste super earthy, so smooth and floral. Lovely

★★★★★

This smells amazing! Very high quality jasmine tea. It's recommended to steep in 195 degrees, but I just used the preset temperature for green tea on my electric kettle. I think if this steeps longer than 3 minutes, the taste will get too flowery and get too astringent, all good if you like it like that.

This is the tea i go to when i have a sweet tooth...i brew it a bit longer than suggested and get that great bitterness at the end of a sweet sip!

★★★★☆

Very pleasant, mild flavor. Very floral as would be expected. If you steep it for too long, it starts to taste extremely flowery like perfume, so don't do that.

★★★★★

Very, very floral smell and taste. Actually quite good for a treat, but too floral for everyday. I usually use honey in my tea but this is good without honey.

★★★★★

Another absolutely lovely Jasmine blend. Although to be honest, I couldn't taste the difference between it and Jasmine Yin Hao. Not that I'm complaining; I love Yin Hao.

They do smell distinct in the package, and just maybe Yin Hao is lighter and Jasmine is more perfumey, when I brewed them with the same specifications, I could find little difference.

Regardless, I love them both.

My favorite tea store, Teavana, went out of business. Their Phoenix Jasmine Dragon Pearls was my favorite tea. This tea is an acceptable substitute. It has a really good Jasmine flavor. However, compared to my previous favorite: 1) It has more 'powder' in the tea 2) Although it unfurls completely It does not unfurl as fully (maybe pearls are smaller??) 3) it has a slightly bitter taste even though steeped at proper temperature.

Beautiful floral flavor that I really enjoyed. Will continue to buy.

Delicious, wonderful smell and goes great with the Green Rooibos Bonita.

★★★★★

We had been buying pearls from a local :) tea shop but had a hard time getting the tea we wanted, even when we communicated an upcoming purchase. We are happy with the delivery and flavor of the pearls. We look forward to trying other teas!

★★★★★

This tea is one of my favorites. I use a scale to weigh the pearls instead of a teaspoon. It usually comes out to be half a teaspoon, maybe a little more.

The flavor is delightful. It's floral but not fake tasting or overpowering.

The quality of the pearls from Adagio used to be better, though. (Dina)

Really good. I love how the little balls unfurl in the moist water.

I find this one to be very aromatic and relaxing.

★★★★★

A really Smooth and floral green tea. You can really taste the flowers here!

★★★★★

I was not expecting the sweetness of this tea. Just two pearls for a cup is plenty for me. I absolutely adore the flavor and will be reordering.

Finally recreated my favorite tea at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant!

Wonderful jasmine flavor. One of my all time favorite teas.

Smooth, bold, and not too bitter. By far my most favorite brand of Jasmine Pearls.

★★★★★

This is my favorite green tea. It can be temperamental so I am sure that I set my timer. Sometimes, you just need to have some Jasmine in the afternoon. What a beautiful tea!

★★★★☆

Wow, this is my first experience with this team and it was so different! Has sort of a licorice flavor, and it takes a while to get used to, but I find myself liking it.

★★★★★

Oh wow! This makes a freaking excellent iced tea! Fragrant but not too much. Very flavorful! If you have ever had jasmine iced tea from 85c Bakery, this is VERY close
