I am no expert in tea. I don't know the science behind the growing of, the picking, the drying, the curing, the seasoning, nor the hand rolling. I don't know the science behind why this tea grows better in this area because of x reasons. What I *do* know is how tea--*good* tea, makes me feel. The experience of the patient wait of bringing water to temperature, watching the water expand leaves as they unfurl and begin coloring the water. The aroma of it, while it steeps and after it is poured. And the comforting weight of the cup in your hand as it warms. This Jasmine tea is utterly comforting. It is exactly what I imagine pouring a beautiful spring garden festooned with jasmine blossoms...into a cup. I made my first cup of this last night after years of not being able to afford any tea from here, and it was literally the calmest, more peaceful, most delightfully smelling moment of my day. Sometimes the small things bring me the most joy, and drinking this tea, while might be a small moment, gives a lot back.
As I said earlier, it is a very delicate green tea. You definitely should not use water any hotter than 170, you most certainly need to be accurate in measurement, and I would not let it steep any longer than 2. 3, I find, is pushing it, and can sometimes start toward bitter. This isn't a tea to OMG FLAVOR PUNCH you in the face, and it's not something you can toss a into a cup of microwaved water. Or at least, you shouldn't.
I have the older model of Adagio's UtiliTEA kettle (Purchased in 2008/9? And STILL working!) and turn the dial to *just* before the 180 green tea setting/close to it for this, and always set a timer.
This is my favorite tea, and because of its price I do not get to enjoy it but every few years and make sure to treat it and steep it proper.

This tea is very strong, despite its delicacy. Its very aromatic and flavorful. I used about ten pearls for an 8oz or so cup, and thats enough for me. A warning for those who do not like floral-tasting teas as this one is inescapable. That all being said, it is precisely why I love this tea so much. My absolute go-to for a calming book-reading on the front porch.
Words cannot describe how much I love this tea! The fragrance is amazing and the taste is wonderful. I usually drink flavored fruity teas but this is my new favorite. I absolutely love this tea!

Jasmine tea has always been my favorite go to hot drink, I actually prefer the Jamine Chun Hao to the pearls, They are good but a very light flavor, I enjoy a punch of jasmine to the face.

This tea is a bit more expensive than others, but it is well worth it. Be sure to only heat your water to the recommended temperature and steep it a few extra minutes. The flavor is awesome!
I originally had these from a local tea shop that have since gone out of business, this is by far my favorite unblended tea. Its a little bit more floral than the stuff i had from the tea shop but still absolutely delicious.
Love the perfumy fragrance! The flavors of the jasmine and tea are excellently balanced. Wish it weren't so expensive; I'm making the sampler last by drinking jasmine #5 in between.
Great aroma, light on taste. Really can’t brew this for more than 90 seconds. Ideally 60 seconds. It’s a solid morning tea, but brewed more than once and you’ll get a little jittery though the flavor is still good for twice brewing
This tea is just great, perfect for cold winter days by the fire and reading a good book.

This is my favorite comfort tea. I love the Jasmine notes mixed with the green tea. The scent and flavor are heavenly. If you steep it too long, it will be bitter. I find about 2.5 minutes to be perfect. The leaves can be re-steeped 2-3 times. The jasmine flavor gets a little weaker each time, but the green tea flavor is still good.
Good but not overpowering Jasmine flavor. Good for multiple brewings. Sometimes I mix with other white or green teas.
I ordered this on its own after trying the jasmine tea sampler pack. I love jasmine tea but this particular one out of the sample pack was by far my favorite. The pearls alone smell amazing like a delicate flower. The taste is a bit like drinking heaven. I enjoy this tea in the evening after work but before bed to wind down some. On occasion I will make some and drink on the way to work in the morning. If you like jasmine tea I highly recommend this!!
Has to be one of my favorite jasmine teas. I'm always getting jasmine at boba places but jasmine green tea bags from the store never taste quite the same. This is full of that bright floral bitter jasmine green taste I'm craving, and I'll definitely be getting more. Being in pearl form just makes it more fun.
Update: I held a blind taste test with my husband (who does not drink tea) to compare the jasmine teas adagio sells (except the super expensive one) and this was still our favorite. It's noticeably better than the supermarket brand, and even the other looseleaf jasmines from adagio didn't measure up.
My personal favorite! Very light in flavor, but packs a punch with fragrance. It's my go to tea for relaxing or celebrating.

I had no intentions of liking this, but it had other plans. I have been accustomed to drinking Black Teas until I tried this. I went through my last order far too quickly because it's so darn good.
