CommuniTEA portion: 180 for 2-1/2 minutes. Fun tea that absolutely mimics a muffin. Maybe a tad much on the sweet and tart but that's just personal preference. Quite enjoyable.
Festive and fun, our Cranberry Nut Muffin Green Tea boasts bright tangy cranberry notes with the richness of pecans, and a touch of warming vanilla in our gentle steamed green tea.

I have no idea how they got this to taste exactly like a muffin, but I'm not complaining! What a tasty tea!
This one had a nutty aroma and that carried through to the taste. My sample today didn’t have any cranberry flavor but it wasn’t bad. CT 11/1/2023 175 for 3 min.
Got a free sample that I cold brewed—very tasty; all the flavors went nicely together and it was delightful
I don't usually like flavored green teas but this one was really good. It didn't take the spot of my favorite flavored green tea... Autumn mist green, but its a close second.
I had a pleasant abundance of apple pieces in my package, not a single cranberry, no worries at al, this was a delicious light bodied green with some pecan and vanilla tones that mixed perfectly with the apple, maybe more like a pie for me than a muffin
I have this tea in my stash and have never reviewed it. I found that I could steep this longer than directed and was pleased with the extra flavor. A nice green tea with a bakery vibe.
I have learned that i am not the biggest fan of green teas. However, this one worked ... mainly because the cranberry nut muffin overpowered the green tea. I do have to agree that it is fairly hard picking up on the cranberry.
I enjoy this community. It is fun to read the comments on the tea of the day and see the pictures.
I love the combination of nutty flavor w/cranberry. It has just enough sweetness that additional sugar is not needed. It's delicious hot or cold & is one of my favorite green teas.
I didn't get much tart cranberry flavor which I know will be a good thing for many people. This was a nice sweet green tea with a bit of a fruity flavor. Nice evening tea.
Very tasty but doesn't taste like a muffin but I taste some or a hint of fruit and nut. I tried some honey and it tasted better and this flavored green tea is worth try.
A nice flavored green tea for when the weather turns colder and the Halloween decorations have been put up for the year. The cranberry is noticeable, and there is a nutty aftertaste with hints of vanilla. It tastes like a holiday dessert of some kind - fruity, nutty, and inviting.
8 oz, 2 mins @ 180* F, with sweetener.
This is better than I was expecting. It's not full bodied like a black, but what it does have is quite nice. Hot, I mostly taste the pecan, with hints of cranberry which thankfully aren't overpowering the tea. For those who prefer green teas this is a nice sipper.
I liked this one, but I didn’t love it. It’s hard sometimes to get an accurate representation of a blend in such a small sample. My cup was missing any cranberry flavor, despite having berries in my packet. The overwhelming flavor coming through for me was more maple than it was pecan. I think I’d like it better if the sweet pecan was toned down, and the berry was ramped up. Maybe it’s more balanced in the sample bag and larger, than it is in the CT packet. Not a bad blend, and I definitely wouldn’t turn down a cup if offered.
Yummy blend! This really is some magical mixing going on here. The cranberry flavor is light, but adds a little bit of tart fruitiness. The tea comes through nicely and the sweet nuttiness is great. It's very smooth and soft, and really is reminiscent of a lovely breakfast muffin. A definite winner of a blend.
I’m hesitant on flavored greens, but this one had a lovely scent. The scent remains post brew (180F at 2.5 min) which is nice. That doesn’t always happen with aromatic blends. I found the pecan flavor to be dominating a bit much in my sample, but adding a 1/2 tsp of honey took care of that. It’s really a delightful drink and reminiscent of a muffin! And it feels like autumn, if that makes any sense.
tastes exactly like autumn mist green to me! very syrup-y
It tastes just as advertised. Sweet with a nice nutty taste.
I love the pecan flavor in the tea. The cranberry and fruit are there, just not as distinguishable. Tasty green tea.
The smell is absolutely amazing, and the taste doesn't disappoint either! A wonderful fruity and nutty green that leaves the feeling of being in a quiet bakery on a beautiful day.
The idea behind this blend is enticing, but in execution it’s a little too much. Usually, I appreciate a nutty cup of tea, but on the green base, the pecan flavoring feels heavy and dominates the cup. There’s a touch of tart fruitiness in the background that does echo chewy cranberry bits in a muffin, but it yields just a little bit too much to the medicinal side. As I said, I like the idea; I think it would work better on a more robust base (i.e. black tea). A second steep is less overwhelmingly nutty, and the addition of sweetener both highlights the touch of fruit in the background and reduces the medicinal quality. Still, the flavors here just feel like too much for the green tea. (1.5-2 minutes @ 175°F)
Good tea with the slightest hint of cranberry! I have a packet of this that i will brew and share with friends.
Fruity, nutty, sweet, pleasant aroma. A pleasant cup of fall tea.
I hate green tea. 100%. I've never found one I like.
And yet... this is actually pretty good! Yes, there's a little bit of green tea taste going on, but it's swallowed up by the cranberry taste for the most part. Definitely carries with it the taste of muffins, and even though I prefer a sweeter tea, I felt no need to add sweetener. Wild, but worth a try, especially if you don't like any other green teas.
This one doesn't hit the mark for me. I am not getting much cranberry flavor, but an overwhelming amount of the pecan flavor. Pecans are not a nut I am fond of. The freshness of the green tea is overpowered by the nut flavor. Nope, not one for me.
This was nice enough for a flavored green tea! Strong vanilla and nut flavors, decent green tea base, definitely does a good job of tasting like a baked good. The only trouble is that there's no cranberry flavor to my cup at all -- perhaps they didn't make it into my CommuniTea pouch! A good nut muffin tea, but Adagio has so many good nutty teas that this one doesn't feel exceptional.
It's just ok. I wish there was a bit more cranberry flavor to it to round it out better. I drank the whole cup, but I don't think this is something I would reach for.
It is okay. I taste lots of pecan, a little vanilla, green tea, and nothing else. It is not bad, but definitely not what I expected.
I’m not sure why or where it is coming from, but the smell reminds me more of caramel corn than a cranberry nut muffin.
It has a very nutty smell. Mild nutty flavor. Nice blend
This one is great hot or cold brewed. I love cranberry and it actually kinda tastes like a muffin if honey is added.
Nutty and sweet, like the smell of freshly made caramel corn and baked goods all in one. I really liked the flavor profile here, nostalgic and delicious!
I really enjoyed this tea! Perfect for a cold morning. It really did taste like a muffin! Lots of flavor (I feel that the pecan really came though) and not too sweet!
Update 11-1-2023: This tea has not changed and neither have my thoughts regarding it. It's lacking in cranberry flavor, big time! The pecan flavor is too dominant.
I am on the fence regarding this tea. Does it taste like a cranberry nut muffin? Yes!
However, I would go heavier on the cranberry than the pecan flavor that comes through.
I would have probably preferred the taste of walnut over the pecan. Cranberry flavor was overpowered by the pecan.
I'm afraid it just doesn't live up to the description for me. There's some tartness from the cranberry, I guess, but I don't pick up on anything nutty and the green tea just doesn't seem like the right base to support those kinds of flavours. I want it to be warm and cosy, not fresh. It's just a little off for me. Steeped 2 min @ 180º.
OooLaLa! This tea is inviting from the moment of opening the packet. Delicious flavor combination, more Adagio blending wizardry!! A muffin in a cup!
My goodness this tea tastes just like a muffin, especially after adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener to 12 oz. This is a delicious fruit muffin tea. YUMMY! (2mins @180ºF + sweetener).
A tasty dessert tea that smells wonderful. The low caffeine makes it an excellent afternoon tea.
This tea really does taste like a muffin -- so good!! I'm not usually a big fan of green tea, so I am so happy when I find one I really enjoy. Absolutely delicious!
How have I never rated this tea?! An absolute staple, I love this tea hot, but it makes such a delicious, refreshing coldbrew, it so flavorful and yummy, nutty and fruity with the green tea, yum, yum, yum!💜
The dry tea has a nutty sweet aroma and is visually appealing with red cornflower against the green tea. 2 min @ 180. The nuttiness is lighter and some green tea smell has come forward. The taste is definitely nutty, with a hint of sweetness but not getting any cranberry. A smooth green tea, but no cranberry to live up to its name.
This one doesn't taste like a muffin to me (not like the banana nut muffin honeybush blend), but it's still nice.
This tea tastes like a liquid cranberry nut muffin. I put two amber sugar crystals in when brewing to bring out some sweetness. SO good!
All I could taste was green tea no cranberry or nut at all , really bummed about this one .
Pretty good for a green tea! I drink it with honey. I'm curious to try it iced, so the next brew I do will be an iced one!
This is a nice green tea for fall. The cranberry muffin flavor is nice without being overwhelming.
So yummy! Feels like a warm hug, great for the fall season.
I love the idea of green tea, but I hate any hint of grassiness. This means I’m sadly precluded from drinking most green teas. This tea, however, is a delightful exception to that rule. I don’t know how they did it, but this makes a delicious and not at all grassy cup of tea. It’s definitely a staple in my tea collection.
The focus of this flavor profile is on the muffin rather than the cranberry. It’s bakery sweet and cozy.
Very nutty, and did remind me of a baked good like a scone. I would have liked to have tasted more cranberry though, as I only got a hint next to the strong walnut/pecan flavor.
