I think the smell is actually more delicious than the tea. Once brewed, the chocolate does dissipate a lot. It's still a very pleasant tea--the smell just led me to expect something a little more flavorful.
Classic pairing of chocolate and mint with fresh green tea. Sweet and cool, reminiscent of peppermint bark chocolate.

good but not as minty as i'd hoped. it's growing on me.
This is super yummy tea. I'm going to have to order a big bag.
Sami's review calling this tea a bit too light is spot-on. Although this has the flavor of a green tea, its strength when brewed really makes it feel more like a white tea. The cocoa and mint are very subtle and blend well with the green, but I was hoping they would have a similar strength to what they do in the rooibos cocomint. I would like to try pairing this with a vanilla rooibos or perhaps just a hint of black vanilla to see what happens.
I ordered this in a sample because I was curious. In the past, I've been disappointed with teas that have chocolate flavors in them- this is not one of those times! Firstly, the tea smelled heavenly on first open. Even though I had other teas with my order, I decided to brew this one first. The mint hits you first, then the comforting taste of green tea is swept away by a chocolate aftertaste. I will be ordering more!
I'm not a huge green tea drinker, but I looooove cocomint, so I had to give this a chance. las, the cocomint flavor is terribly weak, and the resulting taste is that of drinking a cup of grass. Not a winner in my book. Back to rooibos cocomint for me!
Smells minty with a hint of chocolate, leaves that minty afterfeel on the tongue ... doesn't actually taste of anything other than green tea. nd that only faintly.
This wasn't quite what I expected, but the chocolate and mint tastes are gentle enough not to overwhelm the green tea. It's nice if you're eating a bowl of ice cream.
Delicious tea! It smells like the Andes mint chocolate and the flavors don't overpower each other.
I, myself, am not a mint chocolate fan, but I picked this up for my family. It was gone in a day!
One of my new favorite teas. The chocolate and mint smells are amazing, and are also present in the steeped tea. I reach for this tea a lot more than I expected to!
My new favorite tea!! So fresh and delicious...might make the others in the cabinet jealous!! .]
If you like flavored teas, this is a good one. Not overpowering but has a hint of Andes candy taste. I prefer non-flavored teas so this is not a favorite for me, but is a nice dessert-ish tea.
It's ok as a mint tea however I wouldn't call it coco. Perhaps just co.
The subtle chocolate flavor with the mint was just amazing. It didn't need any sugar. It was perfection. :)
As other reviewers have stated, the smell is absolutely entrancing to any lover of chocolate or mint. The taste is pretty good too, but leaves a little something to be desired when compared to the smell. Overall, a great tea.
I really like this tea. Two of my co workers who buy tea regularly did not like it as much as the other teas they bought so they gave it to me and I am glad they did. I don't like really bold flavored tea so this fit the bill.. It's a very subtle tea and I like to mix it with honey and a little bit of sugar. It reminds me of hot chocolate just not as thick. I was worried about it being too minty for my tastes, but the mint is very subtle and not overbearing. Over all one of my new favorite teas.
It's nice and refreshing and sweet, but I think overall a bit light for my tastes, with this combo of flavours. I think I might like it better blended with something to give it a bit more gravitas, like a bit of the coconut or cream teas. That's not a bad idea, actually... *starts plotting*
I really loved how the tea smelled it smelled like an andes mint when I opened the bag and although it had an odd taste to it (I'm new to green tea) I loved it and I definitely want to get it again.
Delicious! Want the taste of a mug of hot chocolate with the health benefits of a tea? Here you go! Smooth and sweet, great with a splash of milk.
This tea is fantastic. It's just the right combination of chocolate and mint flavor to make it warm and inviting.
A new favorite. For those who want to ring int he New Year with healthy habits replace this with chocolate candy! It's so yummy and green tea is incredible!
I loved this tea! The flavor was delicately sweet and the mint helped to balance it all out.
I have been looking for a good coco-mint tea for a while, ever since I bought some at Teavana and loved the idea (really disliked their tea though!). This cocomint green is amazing. Very light and 'cool' tasting, with just enough chocolate to know it's there but not overpower the mint or the green tea flavors. Lovely.
The perfect blend of green tea, chocolate and mint. What I like most is how the chocolate flavor is not overpowering or artificial tasting like many other teas blended with cocoa nibs. The mint is refreshing and in no way cancels out the other flavors. A great cup!!
I was really excited for this tea, and I wasn't at all disappointed! Was perfect with a touch of sugar. I'm not always a fan of green teas in any capacity, but this was lovely.
The grassy green tea flavor doesn't mesh that well with chocolate. If it were just mint, fine, but chocolate mint? Not really.
This tea is very good. It has hints of chocolate and a nice mint flavor.
Very refreshing cup, cocomint is nice for the winter season.
It's not the most wonderful tea in the world, but if you're craving something chcolate mint it's really good.
Honestly, it tastes like you're drinking a thin mint, though it's not sweet. The aftertaste is the best bit.
This was a lot better than I expected. When I first opened the bag, it smelled kind of strange but the flavor is great
I was surprised by how much I like this tea. It's a very smooth, mellow tea with warm undertones. It's not overly chocolaty or minty but it's a very nice combination of flavors.
I really love this tea. When I first take a sip it's like a wonderful burst of mint. Then the aftertaste is a really warm chocolate, it's great!
This tea was interesting. It has a heavy aroma of chocolate and mint, but tasted more of mint with a chocolate aftertaste. It is not one of my favorites but it might be interesting to try mixed in something like a smoothie.
minty and green, soothing, but not overwhelming. A perfect winter brew.
While I don't like mint or chocolate in my tea much, the girlfriend has a minimum of two cups a day of this. She used to drink coffee every morning but now just takes a big mug of this and is even happier all day long. Great gift for someone who doesn't drink tea much (yet).
The first smells out of the bag were amazing, and the mint and chocolate blend together just right. Better than thin mints, this is a tea I'm definitely buying again!
I'm not a huge fan of the chocolate flavoring in this tea. So, I am not huge on it, but if you do like a mixture of chocolate and mint that is not overpowering, you will probably like this tea.
The delicious thing about this tea, is that if you have a craving for mint but still want the vegetal green nutrient-rich angle, you can have them both in this cup. I felt there wasn't enough chocolate, and this encouraged me to add another teaspoon of cocoa nibs per mug, which seemed to give me more chocolate flavor.
This tea has the perfect mix of mint and chocolate. The mint isn't too overpowering.
I absolutely love this tea! It has the perfect amounts of chocolate and mint flavors, but retains the lightness of green tea. Adding a little sugar makes it the perfect hot drink for a cold morning.
I don't typically like chocolate flavor in my tea, but this cocomint green is an exception. I ordered a small sample of it thinking I'd probably not like it, but now I might need more. It's great as a light dessert after dinner or with a dessert. Tastes very much like an Andes mint.
This tea is just AMAZING!!! It's minty and chocolatey and soooo good!!! A new favorite!
It's green tea that tastes like thin mint girl-scout cookies. what more could you want? The chocolate mint flavor is quite clear but not overwhelming.
So delicious, its very subtle but definitely mint chocolate. I put a few sugar crystals in and it brought the chocolate out more but either way its comparable to an andes mint candy
It's not very minty, but I can taste the chocolate just slightly. I would buy it again.
a dark rich tea, that has a heavy feel to it. I absolutely love it and it works as a meal style tea because of its 'weight' the flavors were perfectly mixed and extremely strong. the only downfall is I have to keep it in a separate container so the scent doesn't leak.
My favorite of the ones I ordered this last round. So good.
Cocomint green is ah-ma-zing! It's so chocolaty and minty! I plan on getting bigger bags of this!
