What an interesting case! On the one hand, I could wish the flavors of this tea were a little stronger. The green leaf itself is very delicate, and the citrus flavor equally or moreso. On the other hand, the *tiniest* bit of raw sugar stirred in to this tea really pulls the soft lemon and orange tastes to the fore, and the result is lovely. It reminded me of sherbet. Next time I think of it, I'd like to make a big pot of this tea, sweeten it lightly and drink it ice cold. I think it will be fantastic.

A very light flavor and a great green tea. Not the best that I have had for a green tea, but very good. It is not too lemon/lime-ish too. :)

★★★★★

Best of the green teas I've tried. By far my favorite.

★★★☆☆

Very green green tea. Since I like my green tea not-so-grassy, it's not one of my favorites, but the citron undertones redeem it for the days when I'm not in the mood for my old stand-by (gunpowder).

★★★☆☆

It is a very light flavored tea. I prefer a 'grassier' green tea.

★★★★☆

I would have preferred a little more citrus, but I'm sure there are people who love the taste of green tea on it's own and who will love this just the way it is. I cold brew in the fridge 18-24 hrs then strain over ice.

★★★☆☆

I've tried brewing this a few times. I don't know if I don't like green tea or if I'm just not brewing it properly. Not having an electric kettle I have to guess at the temperature so maybe I'm brewing it too hot? Maybe it would be better cold brewed? I have a full bag, so I'll continue to experiment, but it just might not be my thing.

★★★★☆

I am so fond of this tea. It is light and citrusy with a nice dry green tea to balance it. It doesn't even need any sweetener.

★★★★★

Now, I have never been a fan of Citrus green tea. But this has become one of my favorite teas of all rime. Even tasty once it's cooled down, this has to be my favorite green tea behind Jazmine Phoenix Pearls. A must try

I LOVE this green tea blend! It's fresh, citrus-y, and fragrant! The citrus is balanced and simply delightful to drink. I will definitely be ordering more!

This is perhaps my favorite Adagio tea. The citrus notes perfectly complement the green tea flavors, which are mild, not bitter or smokey. I use more tea per cup than the instructions indicate, for an extra- flavorful cup. Nothing beats this stuff!

★★★☆☆

I am not the biggest fan of green teas, so this tea was not quite the best for me. The citrus taste made it better, but it's not a tea I'd drink all the time.

★★★★★

This may be the ultimate green iced tea. The citrus and green tea are perfectly balanced and GORGEOUS together. So refreshing. Almost effervescent.

Wow this was a lovely surprise. It's light and refreshing and has an amazing combination of favor. Will definitely order again.

★★★★★

I have been exploring the white and green teas on here. I have decided that right now I am enjoying flavored. I love the Citron Green. Its light and refreshing. I have been drinking it hot but am excited to try it iced. I encourage anyone to try it.

★★★★☆

This one makes a nice iced tea. Very refreshing in the hot summer.

★★★★★

This tea is really good iced. The flavors are really crisp and clean.

★★★☆☆

I had high hopes for this tea and the citrus flavor didn't really deliver. Although it satisfied my taste for a flavored green tea, it wasn't too delicious. To each their own, but I thought that the citrus pieces were harsh tasting and didn't balance with the green tea. It was alright but I won't be re-ordering.

This is hands-down one of my longtime favorite teas from Adagio. It's such a bright, enjoyable green tea, without any overt grassiness and a really natural citrusy flavor. I love drinking this one iced in summer.

★★★★☆

I love a bit of lemon with anything, this is a nice green tea with a hint of lemon (to me). To add a bit more lemon, my next try is to mix it with my lemongrass sample.

★★★☆☆

This has an artificial 'vanilla' taste in my opinion. The package states ' orange peels and natural orange flavor', but I sure can't taste it. I won't be buying this again!

★★★★☆

It smells marvelous coming out of the bag, and the color and scent once steeped are good too. The citrus is not very prominent but neither is the grassiness of the green tea. Overall a refreshing and light tea. Good for blending.

One of my favorite green teas. Love pairing this tea with honey and fresh lemon juice. Please note that fresh lemon and local honey should always be added last!

When it comes to local honey, it helps support your local neighbors/businesses. It also helps 'fight allergies' if ingested from a local grower. Additionally, labels can lie so please visit a local farmers market for more info. While my husband has volunteered for our local honey growers, it is best to understand what is obtainable where 'you' live.

As for Lemon Juice and metal, it create a sour taste since Lemon is a natural cleanser of metal. Thus, it is important to add it last once you finish brewing your tea in metal containers. I grow my own baseball size lemons aka Meyer Lemons as some background information.

Here's a quick lesson from wiki on the history of this lemon:

'Meyer lemon, is a citrus fruit native to China thought to be a cross between a true lemon and either a mandarin or common orange. It was introduced to the United States in 1908 as S.P.I. #23028[1] by the agricultural explorer Frank Nicholas Meyer, an employee of the United States Department of Agriculture who collected a sample of the plant on a trip to China.[2]) The Meyer lemon is commonly grown in China in garden pots as an ornamental tree. It became popular as a food item in the United States after being rediscovered by chefs such as Alice Waters at Chez Panisse during the California Cuisine revolution.[3][4] Popularity further climbed when Martha Stewart began featuring them in her recipes.[2]'

Please note that Meyer Lemons grows great in the South. As for us, I believe we are somewhere between zone 8 and 9 given our location so it grows great outside in our yard, but please research your own 'growing zone' for local info as the plan might need to be trained as a bonsai plant that is taken inside during cold winters.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review. Muchos Gracias!

Don't think I've ever had anything quite like this tea, and I mean that in a good way!

★★★☆☆

this was my first green tea EVER so i'll have to try it a few more times to get a real feel for it...i didn't think it tasted too bad, just okay. may have to experiment with it.

★★★★★

I love this tea. It makes a perfect cold summer time tea.

★★★★★

This is my staple green tea that I drink iced all throughout the summer. I love it with some lemon or lime, no sugar. A nice tart refreshing summer tea.

★★★★☆

This is a very normal citron green, not great but good.

★★☆☆☆

This tea smells unfortunately like citrus cleaning product, and tastes a little like it too. There's an herby flavor that reminds me a little of lemon balm.

★★★★☆

The aroma wasn't as strong as I expected, but the lemon finish to taste is very good.

★★★★★

a subtle and mild green tea with hints of citrus. Very light and refreshing for summer

★★★★☆

I like the citrus flavor, although I would describe it as lemon and orange not lime.

★★★★★

This is really well composed. The citrus isn't too strong, but as with most flavored green teas, the 'green' gets swallowed up, for better or worse.

★★★★☆

Steeping for two minutes was not enough time to get a good citrus flavor - the tea was fairly weak. However, at 3 minutes I got a fantastic flavor. I prefer it over the rooibos version.

★★★☆☆

I enjoy green tea better straight without any additives. The citrus flavor was a little distracting.

★★★★★

The tea was excellent, bright, refreshing flavor, easily one of my favorites that I've tried so far. Highly recommended, especially with summer coming.

This tea has a very pale color to it that might be a little bit deceiving. The flavor is definitely there, although it might not be as strong as I'd like it to be. This is also a very good iced tea!

★★★★★

I love it! I like it iced with a little bit of sugar and a slice of lemon. My favorite green tea, by far!

★★★★☆

This is my favorite flavored green tea. Make sure you brew with more than the required amount or it will be a little weak

3 min steep · 180°F

★★★★☆

I love the citrusy taste of this tea. Doesn't need any sweetener and is good hot or cold!

★★★★★

This is the best tea in the world. #1 tea NA. It tastes like lemony goodness.

oh my gah this is my go-to tea now. it's so delicious. it puts other green teas to shame. so yummy and refreshing. no honey needed.

★★★☆☆

It's a little citrus, it's a little grass. It's not bad, and nice iced. I end up adding a little sugar and a bit of lemon juice.

★★★☆☆

If you're looking for a mild, smooth green tea it isn't bad, but the 'lemon-lime' flavour isn't really very strong in it. I probably won't be getting it again.

★★★★★

Another favorite mine. Hot or iced... I will take either way.

★★★☆☆

This tea is ok. I'm not really a fan of citrus and green tea. If you are, go for it.

★★★★★

Green tea citrus = amazing. It's a spring feeling tea, and it is great with just a bit of honey. I love it.

★★★★★

This tea is delicious, it has the perfect balance of flavors! I usually drink black tea, but this might become a staple.

★★★★★

Oh my goodness, what a lovely, bright, crisp tea!
I bought this to try as an iced tea as summer approaches and I am so glad I did! It doesn't need sweetening (although I have used agave when I'm craving sweets) and I can't get over how pure and crisp the flavouring is. Definitely one of my new iced tea favourites!
