I used to love this vanilla tea, but now I feel lukewarm about it. I think I have either been spoiled by the coconut tea, grown tired of the vanilla, or the formulation has become a little lighter on the vanilla flavor. I tend to notice bitterness more with this flavor than with any of the others.

Adagio makes great teas, but this one is not a favorite.

This is my new 'comfort food.' The creamy, aromatic flavour is right on par with a sublime cup of hot cocoa on a winter day. :)

A very nice tea. Strong vanilla flavor, but it is not over powering. The adagio tea bags are nice, a pretty silk bag that helps to make these an excellent gift.

This tea is ok as a mixer, but I don't think it's fantastic by itself.

great vanilla smell and flavor. perfect with a touch of cream and cinnamon. Yum

This tea tastes exactly like a vanilla bean smells. Not quite what I was expecting, but I suppose I was expecting a more artificial flavor. I'd buy this again.

The smoothness of the vanilla is subtle but very nice.

This is one of my favorites, alone or added to some of the spicier blends (christmas or cinnamon) to mellow the flavors. Most of the time I just use alone or mix with a little peppermint and honey. Great black tea!

Love this tea - great mixed with the cream tea too. Looking forward to trying it the caramel and chocolate teas.

Not a strong vanilla flaver, just a hint. Very good though. I will buy it again.

This tea smells beautiful, has a rich 'fresh churned icecream' vanilla smell, a feeling that leaves one comforted and happy. Unfortunately I noticed that after two brewings this tea did not taste as good as it smelled; the final result of two brewings was a slight vanilla flavour that mostly just tasted like hot water. I will not be purchasing this in larger quantities.

I like the smooth flavor of the vanilla, and I love the convenience of loose-leaf teabags, especially for work.

It smells sweet and vanilla-ie, we love it warm and sweetened.

I wasn't as big of a fan of this tea. After three different makings, I still only got a very light taste of beyond water.

Definitely one of my favorites! It's decadent and delicious on its own, and is also great mixed with just about any of the other flavors. I'm going to make sure I have this in my cupboard at all times.

Lovely creamy vanilla flavor. The tea is great on it's own or with milk.

I'm very, very fond of vanilla teas, and this didn't dissappoint. It's lovely, smells deliciously sweet, and goes well with cream and sugar.

Love this one. Smooth and pleasant vanilla taste and scent. I do prefer the Vanilla Roobios but this is very good.

Nice vanilla flavor. It isn't too overpowering. Just a nice vanilla overtone.

I really enjoyed the vanilla tea; as another reviewer has stated, it tastes more like vanilla bean rather than artificial vanilla extract, as in some other companies' vanilla tea. It's also not over-poweringly sweet, but sweet enough that I don't need to add any sugar.

The best vanilla tea I have had yet. Beats out any store bought tea. Great mixed with the caramel tea.

I loved the vanilla so much I bought lots more! Mix it with the darjeeling #22 or drink it alone, good to have in stock.

very good. Smooth flavor with a wonderful aroma of vanilla. Makes excellent iced tea and is also good with milk. When hot I used it primarily as a dessert tea. I think this might be nice if it were mixed with something else A+/B-

Subtle black tea flavor laced with a genuine vanilla touch. Soothing, complex, I just love this tea in the morning along with some English Muffins buttered and topped of thick French white honey. It's been easing these increasingly cold days remarkably.

On its own, this is a lightly sweetned tea. It's really great when mixed with other flavors, like chocolate!

I started out with this one before I had even tried regular black tea, love vanilla and love this tea. If you don't like unflavored black tea without milk and sugar, this might just be the tea for you.

I've never been a fan of store bought flavored black teas. Since this is gourmet tea, I thought I would try some & see if that made a difference. Let me tell ya, it DID! The tea was very nice. I was impressed. A lighter vanilla flavor than I was expecting, but it worked for me. It was a great cup of tea. Looking forward to trying it with a little bit of cream next time.

I wasn't too impressed. The vanilla flavor isn't very pronounced and seems to get lost in the tea.

Tastes... well, vanilla... as in plain. There's some sweetness there but otherwise I'm not sure I'd know it's a flavored tea.

I continue to find the vanilla rather cloying--I can drink a few pots of it now and then, but more often would be too much.

This tea was just not good. The vanilla seemed overpowering and artificial tasting. I felt icky afterwards like I had eaten a sack of marshmellows.

This is my first foray into the world of loose leaf tea, and the Vanilla sample is a great way to start. The aroma of the tea is unmistakable and the flavor matches the aroma every step of the way. I had this tea with a little milk and was very surprised at how the flavor was still strong and not diluted. I highly recommend.

This is pretty good. Although, it has a strange aftertaste. It is sweet, but has a slightly bitter aftertaste.

This is a great tea. very vanilla-y. I am sorry that is not helpful, but if you are looking for a vanilla tea this is definitely the one. if you want even more vanilla flavor, you can use Starbucks Vanilla syrup as a sweetner.

Think you've had vanilla tea before? You haven't had Adagio's vanilla. Best vanilla ever - it smells and tastes like cake!!! Also is delicious mixed with raspberry black tea.

This was only o.k. to me. I might have made mine too strong - next time I'll try it with less tea.

This 'sweet' flavored tea was great, and the flavor was not overpowering. The scent of this tea is the best I have witnessed. Would recommend for those who like their tea a little bit sweet, with good flavor added.

Nice black tea infused with vanilla. No fake perfume-y scent or taste, well done.

Not the greatest tea in the world, but it's a nice change from time to time. A little too sweet for my daily drinking.
