I’m not a fan of vanilla, but I can tolerate it quite well. In this tea, however, it came across as a cloyingly sweet ingredient. I didn't like it.
Bright Ceylon tea with pure vanilla. Soothing and cozy, like warm sugar cookies made with fresh vanilla beans.

Blends nicely with my cherry teas for a smooth rich cup! I rarely brew just one tea as i like to mix and match. This one is a keeper in my morning routine.
While I enjoy this flavor, I've had stronger vanilla notes in past batches. It won't stop me from reordering this flavor in the future, though. Good stuff!
It’s just the right amount of vanilla. Steeping too long may get bitter. 3-4 minutes is great! Wonderful.
I haven't tried on its own yet. I have tried it with the caramel 😍 I was already obsessed with caramel but I really enjoy it.
Next I will try vanilla with the peach as well.
Got a little note with my box 💜 really means alot! Thank you very much
I always use tiny bit of sugar and some milk for majority of my teas
This is a nice flavored tea but I mainly use it in making my own blends
Just right! Vanilla with a lot of vanilla flavor - I want to taste the namesake and I do! Add a touch of honey for a wonderful wake up cup.
Perfect vanilla black. Just what you’d expect from a vanilla black. I use this to mix with other teas mostly to mix it up a bit. I’ll add some vanilla to my floral teas, and to my nutty teas when steeping. Great to have on hand.
Black tea with a hint of vanilla. I’d prefer something with more flavor if that’s the only one
Gentle flavor, and oh so delicious! One of my long-standing favorite flavors. I find using boiling water makes lots of teas bitter quickly, so I go for a slightly lower temp and they turn out great!
This mild vanilla flavor goes with just about everything!
Cozy, Sweet, and Comforting
Adagio’s Vanilla Black Tea is a wonderfully comforting blend that delivers exactly what you want from a vanilla-forward cup. The base of bright Ceylon black tea provides a smooth, brisk foundation, while the natural vanilla flavor adds a warm, sugary aroma that feels instantly soothing. The fragrance is sweet and slightly “beany,” reminiscent of freshly scraped vanilla beans or warm sugar cookies right out of the oven.
When steeped at 212°F for three minutes, the tea brews into a rich, full-bodied cup with just the right amount of sweetness—never artificial, never overwhelming. The high caffeine content makes it a cozy morning pick-me-up or a delicious afternoon treat.
If you’re a fan of classic vanilla flavor or love dessert-inspired teas, this one is a must-try. Simple, fragrant, and satisfying—perfect on its own or with a splash of milk to bring out its dessert-like character even more.
Love this one! Earthy vanilla tones compliment a flavorful black tea. Just the right blend of vanilla that lets you know its vanilla but doesn't overpower the black tea.
Nice, warm, and comforting. The vanilla flavoring could be a bit stronger, however. But this is a nice fall morning pick-me-up!
My # 1 to go to tea for those frigid cold days. I found the teabags to be an easy go to when I don't feel like making a pot. Smooth and delicious vanilla taste.
The Vanilla in this tea is too low key for my taste. It is a very simple tea and would be a five star if the flavor were a little more robust with vanilla and maybe a touch of caramel... I will be getting this one again because I think it could be versatile.
hands down my favorite black tea. it pairs really well with pumpkin spice flavoring. great both caffeinated and decaffeinated.
Delicious black tea with a gentle vanilla and creme flavor. The earthy notes of the black tea base pair nicely with a bit of milk and sugar (which also bring out the dessert-y flavors of vanilla and creme). Really nice with breakfast for a sweet treat in the morning.
This one is pretty awesome. Smooth and creamy texture with a bold black base. The sweet vanilla flavor comes through strong. I think this one is probably amazing as a base for blends as vanilla works with so many other flavors. I found nothing was needed to add to the cup and it was still amazing. Can't wait to try the decaf version of this one. 212° 5 min
very vanilla... good black base, a great base tea/staple.
So good! A nice smooth vanilla is always nice and it was about what I expected, I wasn't surprised or anything and that in and of itself is also nice.
I enjoyed this flavor. It reminded me a bit of cake frosting at first (but not in a bad way). The creamy vanilla flavor was a good add to the black tea.
A nice sweet treat of a yea that doesn't need milk or sugar. Tastes like cake.
Always good
update: I like strong-ish tea and I'm recommending 4 min steep and adding sweetener .
Yep, still great. One of my favorite flavors in a really satisfying black tea with a little bit of sugar. Might try blending this with decaf cream sometime.
love vanilla and loved this; subtle and not too sweet or artificial.
CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 200 F. I'm usually not a big fan of flavored blends, but this one was okay. There is some bitterness from the Ceylon so I would recommend steeping at a slightly lower temperature. It smells very strongly of vanilla, perhaps even a little too sweet, but the flavor is much more mild, and blends well with the black tea. I think that Ceylon black tea even has a hint of a vanilla aroma to the dry leaves, so that works well with the flavoring added!
Good, but nothing special. Personally I prefer other black teas. I feel that this could have had a creamier vanilla flavor.
A favorite, mild and full of vanilla flavor but not too sweet. A splash of cream and it’s a lovely pick-me-up.
A solid, simple, and elegant vanilla that holds up well against the tea flavor without being overpowering.
This is one of my staples it has the best vanilla flavor.
I really enjoyed this one and it's a good one to mix with other teas.
This was absolutely delightful!! I would definitely get this again!!!
Good on its own or mixed with fruity flavors 😋 very versatile
I love to combine this tea w/coconut tea and will also experiment with others. I think next I will try it iced
Love this smooth vanilla flavor. I add it to my Earl Grey for a little extra flavor
I really enjoy flavored black teas and found the vanilla to nicely compliment the tea
Maybe I messed this one up since the first 2 teas I tried they were on the weaker side so I tried to seep this one longer than recommend at 5 mins instead of 3 and it was too stronger i.do think that part is my fault but I don't really taste much vanilla, maybe of hint of a vanilla after taste.
This one was a bit basic, but what else can one expect from a vanilla black tea? It did exactly what I wanted it to do, tasted good, paired well with sugar and honey. All good things. It didn’t wow me, I probably won’t order it again, but it’s a solid tea.
This was underwhelming for me. I expected a stronger vanilla taste, but it may have something to do with my brewing method. I like my tea cold, so I brew mine in the fridge overnight for about 9 hours.
I love vanilla. Adagio’s vanilla tea is so good and goes great with desserts. It’s a delicious treat by itself.
This tea has an amazing vanilla aroma and a nice gentle vanilla flavor. It's very nice with dairy added.
Absolutely delicious I love it with milk! This is by far one of my favorite flavored black tea
Just my personal preference, but never been a fan of flavored tea or coffee. But vanilla is my favorite flavor, so gave it a try. Not bad with cream.
My and my sister both love this vanilla tea! good to drink on its own or we sometimes mix it with some other things because this tea honestly tastes good with anything
It tasted more of coffee than of tea to me. It might be better when used as a base for other flavors.
One of my favorite vanilla black teas. A perfect blend of flavors. I love this in a latte in the afternoon
I like to use vanilla teas to pair with other flavored teas. It's great for pairing with fruit flavors.
New favorite black tea. Holy cow. Tastes just like vanilla, but not overpowering. Amazing!!!
This is one of my regular go-to daily teas. I blend it in equal amounts with either cream or caramel teas.
I put cream in mine.
I didn't expect to like this as much as I did, but it was exquisite! I added whole milk & sugar, and it made a divine drink. Would recommend!
This is another tea I love mixing with others- in the summer it’s great with black cherry, at a 2:1 vanilla:cherry ratio. Pour it over ice and it’s perfect!
