this is my very favorite of all adagio's teas! absolutely love the strawberry flavors and it's good with a bit of sweetener as well.

I am secure enough in my manhood to say that I love this tea. It seriously tastes like a chocolate-covered strawberry, but the balance of the flavor is just right so that it doesn't overpower the tea. A good one when you need a treat, either at the start of a work week or the end of a tough day.

What could be more decadent than chocolate covered strawberries? Yummy with milk and honey

Smells wonderful, tastes wonderful too. The chocoalate and strawberry don't come through quite as strong as it smells, but still nice, especially with sweetener.

Valentines is a lovely, flavorful, fragrant tea. I enjoy it as an after dinner/dessert tea most evenings. It's especially good with maple creme filled cookies :)

What a wonderful mix of flavors - strawberry, chocolate and tea - dessert all in one cup. The flavors come through strongly and I love it with a splash of milk.

The strawberry is very stong, so if you like the fruit, you'll probably like the tea.

I like Valentines in the morning for the soft, comforting light taste of chocolate and soothing creaminess. It's a 'feel good' tea!

This tea, overall, tastes nothing like it smells. Maybe I am brewing it too hot? I did what the instructions say and it is far too bitter.

Love this one! the chocolate threw me off at first, but after you get used to it, it's very good!

One of the first teas I purchased from Adagio (years ago), it remains an all-time favorite. With soymilk and a little stevia it is a perfectly satisfying treat any time of day.

Excellent! Great flavor of chocolate and strawberries. I find that a little milk and sugar really bring out the flavor even more.

Very good dessert tea. You can defintely taste the chocolate are strawberry flavors. Tastes great with a bit of milk and sugar. My sister loved it so much she stole the rest of mine.

This was not love at first cup, but this brew grew on me something fierce! The chocolate/strawberry flavors are delicious and meld nicely with the tea. Not blatently artifical tasting like many flavored tea.

i think they should tell people that they should like dark chocolate before purchasing this one. none the less a good, well balanced tea.

Oh my gosh - wonderful! The chocolate and strawberry flavors blend perfectly. This is a year-round treat and perfect when you're craving chocolate and trying to be 'good.' This tea is an essential - I've got a tin at home and some at work!

This is a really yummy tea and I love the way it smells. I really prefer to sip this one when I can have a quiet moment to unwind and smell the wonderful aroma of strawberries and chocolate.

Love the chocolatey-strawberry notes that are in this tea; not overpowering or too sweet, but still present.

This was not very good in my opinion, but my boyfriend liked it well enough. The sample might be the best choice to start out!

Definately more chocolate than strawberry. In fact I was unable to taste the strawberry at all. Not a fan of this one. I have had much better black teas.

I totally LOVE this tea. Loved it more each time I drank a cup. To the point that it was the first of my several samplers I must re-order from Adagio. Everything from the scent to the taste left you wanting another cup!

This is my favorite everyday black tea. Not just for Valentine's Day, it is enjoyable ANY day of the year. The combination of flavors is just right. When I received this, I opened the tin and took a whiff - what a smelling sensation! I was impressed when it tasted as good as it smelled. It is quite tasty when a bit of milk is added as well. Please don't ever stop making this tea.

Yum! Love this one, sweet flavors that can be enjoyed anytime of day. Not too heavy either!

I was a little 'iffy' on my first cup but the more I drank the more I enjoyed it. Chocolate became more apparent but not overwhelming. Has become one of my favorite teas.

Chocolate and strawberries! And it's smoother than the average black tea. Perfect!

Mmmmm! This tea seriously tasted like chocolate covered strawberries! My roommate doesn't care much for tea but she had 3 cups of this. I enjoyed it, but I couldn't drink it every day. It's a perfect dessert tea for a special treat, though.

Despite some of the better reviews I really didn't care for this tea!! Being a new tea drinker and this being my 1st black tea (which is all that prevents me from going right to awful). I guess you would have to take inconsideration that I may just end up not being a black tea person. But anyways... I found this tea to be exteremly bitter. Of the 20 teas I bought this one smelled the best in the tin, so I was excited to try it 1st. VERY disapointing. It has a very strong chocolate smell. But the experience just kinda gets worse at that point!! The aroma of the brewed tea is while not awful not as good as in the tin. It's also slightly deceiving as you can smell sweetness but I myself can't pick up even a hint of any chocolate or strawberry at all. I brewed 1tsp at exactly the 212 degrees for 5 min like directed, and I used 2 teaspoons of German Rock Cane Sugar and 1 whole White Honey Spoon. (mostly by mistake since it melt off the stick!!) And I don't even care for honey in my tea, I tried it as a last effort to be able to handle the cup. I still didn't taste any sweetness... It was so bitter and had almost a burnt almond taste about it that I wasn't able to finish the cup. I tried doing a 2nd seep (as strong as this tea seems to be you will get many seeps out of it!!) with 2 more tsp of my sugar, that cup was more tolerable but not good to me. However after this cup became almost cold I was able to tast some sweetness though I think it's more from my sugar than the actual tea. Bottom line I think if you like VERY strong nutty black teas or pherhaps even coffee drinkers (though my mom is hardcore coffee and even she couldn't stand it) then this would probably be a great choice. And while I don't have much experience with black teas I do think the quality of the tea is probably quite nice. The leaves unfurled very prettily!! I will try it mixed with some stronger fruit blends and the cream tea and see if maybe they will cut the smokieness and bring out the strawbwerry & chocolate flavors. It would probably also make a very nice Iced Tea, and not get to week like some!! Overall one I probably won't buy again unless I can create a really good concoction with it that doesn't let me taste it... lol

I was a little apprehensive about trying a 'chocolate' tea of any kind, but I have to say that I absolutely LOVED this tea. Delicious with sugar, milk, or both.

A nice, fun tea. Good flavors and it gives you something to talk about with your guests - they tend to get a kick out of it!

This is a sweet and relaxing tea. I would like to have a bit more chocolate flavor.

By itself, I found this tea to be rather bland and overly prone to bitterness. Adding milk and sugar, however, made for a sweet and smooth cup. Not something I'd drink when I want tea, but it's pretty good as a dessert. I might also add that the aroma is absolutely incredible. I've probably opened my sample tin more often to sniff it than to brew it.

DID NOT taste like chocolate strawberries but it did have a great creamy and slightly sweet quality to it. I would definitely buy again.

I received a sample of this from one of my friends & I finished it within 1 day. So I bought the 8oz container of it. It's really great sweetened.

This is my favorite tea at the moment. A bit of milk and sugar really brings out the chocolate, while the strawberry notes are very present but not overpowering. This is a definite re-buy for me.

I ordered this tea after trying the Libra blend, which included it as an ingredient. They say it tastes like chocolate-dipped strawberries and they are deliciously right!

This tea is not sweet or strongly flavored. The aroma is nice and if brewed for 5 minutes or less it is mild. It becomes quite bitter if brewed longer.

Not just for valentines, this is a fantastic tea. Will definitely order again.

A fun tea with subtle flavors that bleed through very well in the steeping process.

One of my favorites, adding some cream really brings out the subtle flavors.

Very good. I enjoyed almost every cup I made trying to make it perfect. I found that using a lot does not work, and using less for a longer steep does not work either. It seemed to be best at standard 210 degrees and standard measure for me.

What could be better than this sweet blend? I ordered samples for several of my friends & they all loved it!

Unlike some of the other chocolate flavors, this is good alone. For me its a special treats, not an every day sort of tea.
