This tea really is as good as all the reviews will lead you to believe. It has a slightly subtle tanginess to the chocolate taste. Definitely buying again!

★★★★★

Very creamy tasting to me! Love it! Sort of reminds me or a vanilla caramel...Yummy!

★★☆☆☆

ohh... too many flavors and notes at one time.

★★★★★

A delicious dessert tea featuring a light chocolate-covered strawberry flavor that nicely lends itself to milk and sugar. Note, too, that you can almost literally taste the caffeine in this black tea -- I wouldn't advise drinking it if sleep is on your mind, but if a sweet treat is your wish, this tea is a winner!

This combination of flavors was not my familys favorite.

★★★☆☆

This tea is okay, but I didn't really care for the strawberry flavor in it. I think the issue was one more of personal taste though, so I'll stick with just the chocolate and vanilla flavors when I'm looking for something sweet.

This was pretty good but I haven't quite gotten the hang of brewing it just right. Loved the concept though!

★★★☆☆

No matter how I assemble this tea, it comes out too bitter and the flavour profile isn't anything special. I'd say it is the type of tea that may appeal to some, but I am not one of those people. At best, it may be a decent tea to blend with other flavours.

★★★★★

Love this stuff. My bride & kids bought it for my birthday, and with a little sweetener, it brings happiness to the most stressful day, plus the black tea caffeine to give me the energy to solve the stress.

★★★★☆

Decent, however the strawberry is nowhere near as prevelent as the chocolate. However, I appreciated the fact it was the only tea in my order to come with it's own tin! (I'd rate the tea as 4/5 regardless of this fact)

★★★☆☆

This tea was just OK for me. For some reason chocolate and tea just tastes funny together to me.

★★★★★

One of my absolute favorites! Such a comforting taste. My kids beg for it, too.

★★★★★

This really is true love in a cup. This is a delicious dessert tea that has subtle flavors of strawberry and chocolate. It's also good if you mix in a little bit of strawberry herbal tea to give it a stronger flavor. I love this tea! Just don't over steep it because it can quickly become bitter.

★★★★★

One of our favorites too, the chocolate flavor with the roses and strawberry are very nice. great combination!

★★★★★

wonderful tea, good blend of chocolate and strawberry. it made an awesome iced tea too, my hubby though of that! lol

★★★★★

Loved the taste of chocolate and strawberry together. Was just like eating a chocolate covered strawberry.

★★★☆☆

This is not my favorite, but still, it's not that bad. Seems to get bitter very fast if over steeped, but as long as you keep it around 4 min, it'll be good.

★★★☆☆

It tastes like black tea with a hint of chocolate. I don't get any strawberry.

★★★★☆

I was really looking forward to receiving this tea and it definitly satisfied my cravings for chocolate covered strawberries!!! so good, planning on sharing with my friends. I was looking for a nice desert tea and this was it.

★★★★★

Definitely a dessert tea, and will probably make it more of an "occasion" type of tea.

★★★★☆

not as good as i remeber from last year, but it still has those great chocolate and and rose notes but very valentiney.

★★★☆☆

It was okay, don't think I let it sit long enough. The taste was kind of faint, and if you let it cool down too much, it becomes rather bitter.

★★★★★

I don't usually like black tea, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The chocolate and strawberry flavors are there, but they don't overpower the taste of the tea.

★★☆☆☆

It had very "fake" flavor to it. Yes, very creamy and sweet and chocolaty, but it gave me an after taste that i used to get whenever i had the hersey's chocolate syrup, which had all the fake flavorings, chemicals and added seasoning to it. I threw away the syrup after trying it, and i hope i don't do that to valentines.

I felt it was too sweet for tea. And the chocolate flavor seemed a bit bitter for my taste

★★★★★

This has quickly become a favorite, especially iced which really surprises me.

★★★★☆

This tea is interesting. It needs some sweetner to bring out the flavor of the strawberries, but they're definitely there. The chocolate is more noticable in the scent than tha flavor. This isn't my everyday favorite but still enjoyable.

★★★★★

Soooooo good! Liquid valentine in a cup - you should try this.

The taste of this tea is very subtle. I tasted the strawberry, but not much of the chocolate.

★★★☆☆

This has a decent chocolate flavor. Not my favorite but it's not bad.

★★★★☆

This tea is pretty good. It really does taste like chocolate covered strawberries!

★★★★☆

Smells like chocolate in the tin, but when brewed you get that light strawberry aftertaste. Good plain, even better with a little sweetener. Overall a pleasant tea, and great with desserts. Thumbs up.

★★★★★

I love this tea. At first I was worried about the strawberries because fruity teas can be dangerous - you can definitely taste them, but the chocolate mellows it out and complements the flavor really well

★★★★☆

Nice flavoring but not real strong. I might add some extra strawberry tea to it.

★★★★★

Great tea! Everyone raved about this at work! It went very fast!

Got a sample size. I do enjoy this tea, it's nice with a bit of milk & sugar.

★★★★★

Amazing. Actually tastes like a chocolate-covered strawberry: but not at all a fake candy-taste. Very genuine fresh strawberry smell/taste as well as a good strong chocolate. Would recommend only 4 minutes steeping though, it can get bitter with the full 5.

This tea is delicious! Perfect for when you need to satisfy your sweet-tooth! There is the perfect amount of chocolate flavor, not too much, not too little. I just let it steep for about 5 mins & add some sugar/sweetner & I'm good to go! I will definitely be ordering this again!

If only every Valentine's Day were actually this sweet, the world would be a better place! This tea puts a smile on my face! At first, it smelt a little odd to me because I had never tried a chocolate flavored tea prior to this; however, after much anticipation and a little vanilla soymilk, I was definitely pleasantly surprised!!!

★★★☆☆

I like this tea but I don't think you can really tell what it is. I can't taste the chocolate. That was disappointing. But it still tastes good.

Although to me this tea did not taste like chocolate or strawberries, yet still had an amazing taste.

★★★★☆

A sweet tea that is a bit more "manly" than I would normally think of when ordering a Valentine's tea. The strawberry is a bit strong for my liking.

★★★★★

This tea is great all days of the year! I add some honey to bring the chocolate-rose flavor out even more. It smells yummy too!

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite blends! The black tea shines with amazing hints of chocolate and strawberries without tasting too sweet. It helps my cravings for the real thing.

★★★★☆

I got this tea for a valentines day treat for myself. You can definatly taste chocolate and cherry in this subtle brew, but only faintly. Nice, sweet mild tea. As with all the black teas, can become bitter if over brewed or if the water is too hot.

★★★★★

Here's a flavor you might like. It's actually a mix. Because my wife was delighted like she was never delighted like that of tea. It's a mixture of 2.5g or 0.09oz, about 1/2 Tablespoon of Valentines, and 4g, or 0.14oz, about 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Thyme. It still seeps 4 times, quite well, for a couple, each time two cups of 11oz each cup. It's got another benefit, that maybe you'll notice or find out first or second time. However, it's got a very sharp taste, because of the Thyme, and the scent of Valentines, makes it something very special.

Remarkably accurate to it's description. Both the strawberry and chocolate flavors are fairly subtle but delicious and the aroma is outstanding. As with all of Adagio's chocolate flavored teas, you need to be careful about over-steeping to avoid bitterness, but even on a light steep and with a bit of sweetener and cream this is a wonderful dessert tea.

If you are on a diet and can't eat chocolate, this tea is perfect. It smells like you are drinking luxurious dark chocolate. If you add sweetener, it tastes sort of chocolatey as well. My guests were confused by a chocolatey tea, but it is nice.

★★★★☆

A great aroma to this tea! I wasn't sure about the chocolate-strawberry taste in a tea, but it works great. It's definitely more of a "sometimes" tea for me, rather than part of my usual tea-drinking routine, but if you like sweet and rich blacks, give a sampler a try
