This tea surprised me, I got it as kind of a joke for my anniversary but the chocolate and strawberry flavors are well balanced with the black tea it is based on, neither overpowers the other and it leads to a truly unique flavor.

I received a sample of this tea and was immediately drawn in by the smell, before I even opened the package. Once I brewed a cup, I was in heaven. Not heavy-handed with flavour, it tastes enough like drinking a chocolate covered strawberry that it satisfies that dessert urge without the added calories!
I think the flavor wasn't quite what I was expecting...the black tea came through rather strongly and didn't leave much room for other flavors.
This tea is DIVINE- there's something about the flavor that is just perfect. A perfect mix of sweet and fruity with the lush rose and then the chocolate flavor as sort of a background to it all. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, because I'm not a big fan of strawberry anything, but wow. Just delicious.

Valentines is the first tea I have tasted from Adagio on the recommendation of a friend and I couldn't be more happier with this purchase. It has become a favorite of mine in whatever mood
While I didn't care for this tea at all, I wasn't surprised by its flavor. The description they offer is nearly perfect. The only additional description I would suggest is that the flavor is of 'dark' chocolate. For those individuals out there who are not a fan of dark chocolate, stay away.
This tea was absolutely unbelievable. Smelled and tasted JUST like chocolate covered strawberries. It was almost frightening how captivated I was by this one. One of my top 3 favorites.

It tastes like black tea at first with an aftertaste of semi-sweet chocolate and then real strawberries and strawberry seeds. It is amazing how the flavors really do develop in different places and at different times. This needs to steep for a full 10 minutes to get the most flavor from the tea.
WOW! love this tea! It tastes chocolate.. a little bit of strawberry... and genuine! I steeped 3.5 minutes.. and it was yum! Highly recommended :-)

Very good desert tea! Add a little half and half cream, and maybe a touch of Cinnamon on top and this is great for a night when you just want to sit down, relax and enjoy hours upon hours of homework (college student humor). Not a tea I will be drinking every night, but its defiantly high on my list of favorites.

My husband and I thought that this was absolutely terrible. We understood what they were trying to do with the valentines blend, but it was the worse, most bitter tea we had ever tasted. Nothing would sweeten it enough to taste somewhat decent. Will never buy again.

This tea is absolutely fabulous, especially with a small amount of cream. It definitely is on my must buy list again and again.
Very nice. The smell was wonderful right out of the bag, reminded me of chocolate covered strawberries. The strawberry flavor wasn't as strong as I had hoped it would be, but it was nice and smooth overall with a nice chocolate zing. I'll probably try for a longer steeping time for the next cup, but I like strong flavors in my tea.

This tea has an amazing scent. It almost needs to be whiffed as its consumed. I was expecting a stronger chocolate taste and it is far more floral that I anticipated but its still an excellent tea.

At first I was a bit skeptical, but this tea has won me over! As several reviewers point out, it bears a remarkable resemblance to a chocolate covered strawberry. I like to add a little sugar and touch of creamer to it to make a delicious treat.
