This is my go to tea. I love the strawberry and chocolate hints. This is the only tea that I have ever bought 16 oz of. It's such a treat!
Deliciously combines the luxurious flavor of fresh-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries with the taste of premium Ceylon black tea.

This is my go to tea. I love the strawberry and chocolate hints. This is the only tea that I have ever bought 16 oz of. It's such a treat!
Very chocolatey, I enjoyed it even though I don't usually care for chocolate tea. I don't have any sugar at the moment - next time I'm going to try this with some sugar and cream.
As soon as this tea began to brew my mouth began to water. I wasn't disappointed! The tea tastes as great as it smells. This is not a tea to save just for Valentine's Day. The chocolate covered strawberry is a wonderful dessert tea. I enjoyed it with a bit of cream and sugar. It was a great pick me up in the middle of the afternoon.
This is one of my favorite teas. Truly tastes like chocolate covered strawberries! Perfect with a little milk and sugar.
I was hesitant to add this tea to my cart. Super-flavored teas aren't really my thing, but this one surprised me. It truly does taste like a box of chocolates! Cream and sugar are a must!
Wow! Adagio, your tea creators are pretty awesome. I typically do not enjoy chocolate and fruit flavors together but this tea slapped that notion right outta my mouth and replaced it with deliciousness.
Super-yummy with a dash of almond milk.
One of the best flavoured black teas I have ever tried! I really love how you can taste both the chocolate-dipped strawberry and tea seperately within the blend. It's surprisingly sweet and milk-chocolatey although it seems in the bag that it'll be a dark chocolate taste. The strawberry is a nice finish to it.
This tea is warm smooth and perfect at night by a fire. I was very suprised that the flavors came through so you can actually tell what is in it with out reading the bag. Very good. Will buy this again.
Pretty good, I'll probably re order some of this eventually.
Got this as a sample for purchasing a bunch of gifts on Adagio for some friends. At first I was a little unsure how it would taste, since sometimes fruity teas can be a bit lacking. However, I was very surprised by this blend! The chocolate taste is very rich, and the strawberry leaves this extremely pleasant aftertaste in your mouth. If anything, I'd like it have a bit more of a strawberry punch, but I enjoy it nonetheless. Drank it with some milk and sugar, which turned it into a real dessert treat!
The chocolate and strawberry flavours go nice together. Perhaps vanilla beans would be better than rose petals.
honestly, I think I might be the only person disappointed by this tea. It spelled like chocolate and strawberries, but it tasted kind of perfume-y. Perhaps it was the rose petals?
I was a little hesitant to order this. I didn't want something like watered down hot chocolate. However with a little milk and sugar, it's delightful. It has a very light chocolate hint and finishes with a hint of strawberry. The chocolate and strawberry could be stronger!
This tea is delightful! Had it hot with a touch of sugar and it was perfect. Smells wonderful in the bag and while brewing!
This is an interesting tea. Rose and chocolate, sweet and spicy. It begs for the addition of Irish cream, although I have not yet tried it that way.
One of my favorite teas. Tastes like dark chocolate covered strawberries, with just a hint of floral flavor.
On 3/28/12 I wrote: 'love this tea, one of my favorites, i'm so happy its available year round!' --update-- 12/12/12: I got a sample of this after a long time of not ordering it, and it is not as good as I remember. You get the chocolatey smell, but almost no strawberry. I think they *added* rose petals, which is just uncalled for. The valentines tea used to be my favorite, now it's not. :-/ I want a pure strawberry chocolate blend. Might have to create it myself. ...also where did the tins go?!
Strawberry flavor is very subtle. May taste better with milk?
The company we switched from discontinued their valentines tea. This is BETTER since theirs didn't have CHOCOLATE.
A delicious cup of desert tea, pretty and great as a gift or just a special treat. It's sweet on it's own but I add cream and sugar.
This tea is okay. I ordered the sample and I'll probably finish it, but I don't expect I'll ever want it again after that. The flavors taste very artificial.
The chocolate flavor of this tea was good but other than that it had a very floral taste to it. I could not taste the strawberry at all.
Would prefer a stronger flavor. The chocolate and strawberry were weak, and the black tea astringent.
At first I was skeptical about the reviews but it really does taste like chocolate covered strawberries!
Nice notes of chocolate and strawberry, but just a hint of artificial sweetness ... almost a perfume taste ... maybe the rose petals?
It smells really nice, although a bit lacking in flavor. I tried it with cream and sugar and it was a bit better
Wouldn't say it was bad but it was definitely not that great. Too used to Cara's blends, I guess.
On another note, I am not changing my opinion on this tea.
This tea is amazing. Like drinking strawberries when sugar is added.
Lives up to its name- the best way I can describe the flavour is chocolaty and pink. Tastes best on the sweet side, kind of like candy. The chocolate notes come out more when the tea is hot and milk is added. It wasnt really my taste for drinking, so to finish my sample, i infused a simple syrup with this and added it to heavy cream to make whipped cream for a strawberry trifle filling. Definitely one of my better ideas.
The description labeled this as chocolate with strawberry and that is exactly what it was. A wonderful cup almost reminiscent of dessert. We purchased this on a whim and it was a true gift. Try it please.
I was skeptical that this would actually taste like chocolate covered strawberries but it actually really does! I only got the sample package but I'll go for a bigger size next time!
This tea is absolutely amazing! I bought it as the idea of chocolate and strawberry together in a tea intrigued me. It did NOT disappoint. A nice, indulgent tea. I will definitely buy it again!
The smell is amazing! It tastes artificial. I was able to drink it but every time I felt like I had a aftertaste. I am not sure what left the aftertaste. The black tea is delish!
Perfect blend of strawberries and chocolate. Not overly fruity, and smells -amazing-
Loved it! So much better than I was expecting! The chocolate wasn't overpowering, and it wasn't artificial tasting. I only bought a sample, but I'll definitely be ordering more.
This tea is great as a main ingredient or compliment for a blend, and taste great on its own too!
This tea smells AMAZING, just like chocolate covered strawberries. At first, the chocolate and strawberry is strongest, but then the tea has a subtle taste of the rose. It is very good by itself or with some sugar.
This isn't my favorite tea, but it really does taste like chocolate dipped strawberries.
It is very delicious I'm not a tea expert but I really enjoy this flavor!
Tasty tea, I was surprised as I usually do not like the chocolate teas.
makes me think of chocolate, dark or more coca. Has a strong smell and taste, but there's a small hint of sweet chocolate.
I actually don't taste the strawberry very much, although this has a milder chocolate flavor than the chocolate chip. Anyway, my room now smells pleasantly of cocoa, and I feel really awake. Good deal.
Bought this for my girlfriend. I LOVE it though. Fruity and light for a black tea.
So, this tea actually tastes like chocolate covered strawberries... without the chocolate covered strawberries. Obvious? Yes, I know. I mean, it has that *essence* of chocolate covered strawberries, but it lacks the chocolatey-ness as well as the strawberry-ness. If you've never had (store- or 'boutique'-bought) chocolate covered strawberries, you probably won't understand what I'm trying to get at here. Anyways, it may be good as a side ingredient in a blend, but I personally did not enjoy this cuppa very much..
Goodness, words can't even begin to describe how much I love thus tea. From the first moment you open the bag, the sweet aroma of strawberries and chocolate hits you in the face and gives it a big hug, giving you just a small taste of what deliciousness is to come. The tea itself tastes just like chocolate strawberries - simply heavenly - and has the sweetness to match! No need for added sugars or sweeteners, this tea is fine enough all on its own. But if you're one of those people who like to smooth out their tea with some milk or cream, by all means do so. it just makes the tea that much more tasty~~
Another favorite from Adagio. It's an amazing dessert tea, or treat any time of day! The flavors are not overpoweringly sweet, but just right. I add vanilla coconut milk to taste, and it compliments the chocolate flavors perfectly. A definite recommendation!
This tea wasn't bad, but for me the chocolate flavor didn't really come through, which was a disappointment. I tried putting sugar in to bring the flavor out, but that didn't help.
Delicious tea! It tastes just like it described and is absolutely wonderful. I suggest steeping for a little longer than suggested. Once you put cream in the tea it is not very strong.
So sweet and indulgent! I was hoping for more of a strawberry flavor but I found that it was more of a mouth feel and an after taste, but after letting my mug cool and sipping some more I realized how much I love that. Its not overpoweringly fruity (I'm not a big fruity tea drinker) and it adds just a hint of refreshing juciness. I mixed it with chocolate chip and vanilla for a creamy flavor and it was really good. I brewed it a little too long though, I wouldn't brew it a second more than the 3 minutes recommended and for the full flavor, let it cool for a couple minutes.
Not an overpowering tea at all. I found the Valentines blend to be an utter delight. The taste of chocolate-covered strawberries was undeniably good and I felt like I was being spoiled just with a cup of this tea. Best enjoyed, I think, with a heaping of milk and no sugar. Your olfactory senses will do the rest.
