taste and smells exactly like chocolate covered strawberries! Great when you want dessert but want to watch your weight!

★★★☆☆

It's got a really subtle chocolate covered strawberry taste, but the bitterness overpowers the taste

★★★★★

This valentines tea is really good. It tastes like fresh strawberries that were dipped in chocolate. It's just a nice warm version. Not artificial at all.

★★★★★

I tried this tea for Valentines last year and loved it so much that it now one of regular teas. I love the subtle flavors, just the slightest hint of sweetness and chocolate. Lovely. Every cup is a real treat for me.

★☆☆☆☆

Some things just don't mix together well and whatever is in this tea tastes weird. There is a mild chocolaty flavor in there somewhere but it is overwhelmed by something awful.

★★★★★

This tea is a very good. I like to drink it in the fall/winter time. (I'm weird and drink green tea in the summer and spring and black tea in the fall and winter). The smell is amazing, just like a chocolate covered strawberry, and the taste is just a little more subtle, but very good. Highly recommend.

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas. Love it so much i want to stock up on this one

★★☆☆☆

Not for me, not sure if its the chocolate, but there is something in it that completely turned me off of this tea.

★★★☆☆

This tea smells fantastic, but not the most exciting to drink. I think I prefer the chocolate tea on it's own. Somehow I just didn't feel like this tea has as much flavor as it is capable of.

★★★☆☆

I am not a huge fan of fruity black teas, so I am not surprised I did not enjoy this tea. I felt like the strawberry plus the chocolate flavors did not really blend together well. The concept of this tea is creative, chocolate covered strawberries are my favorite dessert. :)

Don't steep too long or it gets bitter. I was excited about this tea but the flavor is just ok. It gets bitter very quickly.

★★★★★

A lovely, romantic blend reminiscent of chocolate-covered strawberries after a candle light dinner.

★★★★☆

I wasn't sure what to think of this as a tea that actually had little pieces of chocolate seemed pretty unusual to me, but it is actually good. I would give it a try if you are looking for something interesting.

★★★★★

This is the wife's absolute favorite, very floral aroma.

This tea is a huge hit whenever I make it for friends. Bold, not too fruity, great balance of flavors

★★★★☆

Wow...it does taste exactly like chocolate covered strawberries...in tea form!

I was experimenting with black tea and thought this would be a good combo for me but found it to be a bit more acidic than I liked. I gave it to a friend as he loves black tea and he loved it!

★★★★★

This tea is delicious. It's smooth and sweet. The chocolate, rose, and strawberries combine perfectly, without overpowering the Ceylon. This is wonderful.

If someone actually bought this for me on valentines, I just might accept it as a proposal. A lot of chocolate teas taste fake, but this one was amazing.

★★★★★

This is love in a cup. You can taste the delicate flower notes without feeling you're drinking a bouquet, and the chocolate hums at the bottom without being overwhelming.

★★★★★

I order this everytime in the largest amounts I can buy. It is just that good. This has been my most bought tea from here now for a decade.

★★★★★

I was hesitant about this tea, but it is delicious! The chocolate is reminiscent of a Tootsie Roll and the strawberry accents it perfectly.

★★★☆☆

This wasn't my favorite, but I enjoyed trying the flavors.

★★★★★

The amount of strawberry flavor is just right in this. It smells exactly like a chocolate-covered strawberry, and the taste is relatively true to the scent, with that natural black tea flavor.

pretty great. mainly chocolate with a vague strawberry undertone.

★★★★☆

This is a good tea with a nice flavor. While I do really enjoy this tea, I must say that it is not quite what I was expecting. I was expecting a more subtle flavor and scent but this tea is very strong and bold. Still very good and worth trying!

★★★★☆

Chocolate is smooth, mellow... a faint note of strawberry complements it and really gives it a sense of fullness. Had some sugar in the bottom of the teacup and the flavor is a lot kinder and not at all jagged like other chocolate tea I've had before. This is very lovely, quiet, soft, and dignified. Sort of like drinking in a soft Victorian tearoom with roses lingering nearby. It really is satisfying, rich, and tasty. Even if you're a guy this should be a good exploration for you. I'm not even much fond of Indian rose sherbets and rose-flavored anything-edibles, but this was lovely. This truly is an artful, masterfully crafted tea and I hope to see it around for many years to come. I am seriously that thrilled with this tea.

And seriously: nothing else I can pontificate and no other amount of adjective-slinging is going to sway you. Let your tongue do the talking and this tea will speak for itself. You just simply have to try it!

PS: It turns out that it doesn't play nice with my stomach, but my mouth loves it. My gut is sensitive in general though. I've found this to have a laxative effect on it (gentle).

I was surprised I liked this one. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate teas but this one is nice.

★★★★☆

If you're looking for a good themed tea, Christmas tops this one. But this one is passable as well. Fruity.

★★★★★

Bought this way back on Valentine's Day (it was on sale) and was expecting to not really enjoy it all that much. I'm not a big fan of strawberry and adding chocolate to it just seemed like a bad idea in my opinion.

I was very, very wrong. It's now one of my favorite flavored teas and I use it as a dessert tea very often. I only ever drink it with milk and sugar (I still don't like it without anything added.)

It's got a lovely, sweet smell and combined with milk and sugar has this light, chocolaty taste I can't get enough of.

I iced it recently as an experiment. It's a very unusual flavor and I don't really recommend it but I LOVE Valentine's iced with a little milk thrown in!

★★★★★

so far, this is one of my top 3. I drink all my teas cold and this is great :0)

★★★☆☆

The steeped tea smells like chocolate-covered strawberries, and thankfully the strawberry flavor does not smell medicinal or artificial. Unfortunately, when consumed plain it tastes like conventional black tea with bitter (yet still thankfully not medicinal) strawberry flavoring added, with a slight hint of chocolate. There's also a slight bit of a perfumed sort of taste, presumably from the rose. I was about ready to give up on this tea, but before I did I decided to try it with milk, milk first in my cup, tea added second. I'm glad I did. It tastes almost perfect. The sweetness of the milk counteracts the bitterness of the tea, making it taste exactly as it was presumably supposed to, like a chocolate strawberry treat. Even the rose survives the milk a bit! The tea does sting the back of my throat slightly when prepared this way though.

This tea is great on its own or combined with others. I've tried mixing it with the White Strawberry, and it is amazing! Definitely recommend.

★★☆☆☆

We purchased this flavor a few years ago and really liked it. Have been trying tea from other places as well, so we're just now getting back to Adagio. We were really looking forward to getting this one again, but unfortunately it's very disappointing this time. What happened? Did you change the ingredients?

★★★★★

This tea has a great talent. it satisfies the chocolate jones! The sweet strawberry flavor is there without being medicinal or fake-tasting and the chocolate is there, more like a richness than a flavor. But it's perfect - a spash of cream and a small bit of sweet and it's the perfect sweet-tooth snack! Yes, tea can be a snack :) Only down-side would be that it is only good for one infusion, but then almost all flavored teas are such, in my experience. I would get this again!

This is by far my most favorite tea!! Gets me trough the morning with out the coffee I'm usually obsessed with. I love the floral and fruity notes and especially the chocolate flavor!

★★★☆☆

This tea took me by surprise. The aroma is a little overwhelming as it's like sticking your head in a box of rose scented chocolates, but the flavor is not as strong. A touch of sugar really brings out the sweetness.

★★★★★

The name is perfect because I fell in love at first sip. The flavors blend in perfect harmony and it is a smooth and rich tea. I recommend it highly.

★★★★☆

This tea was not as strong in flavor as I expected. However, it was very tasty and had hints of strawberry and chocolate, flavors that I love.

★★★☆☆

I was looking for a tea with rose petals, and thought that the chocolate wouldn't bother me--but I am not a chocolate tea person, I guess.

★★★★★

Absolutely delightful! One of the most darling teas I've ever tried, and the softness of the aroma makes me wistful for my partner.

★★★★☆

I'm not really a black tea person, but I find this tea to be delicious. The flavors of chocolate and strawberry comes out wonderfully. It's not to sweet and not too bitter.

★★★★★

If you are ever having a bad day, I highly recommend a hot cup of this blend. Chocolatey without being too sweet, dark without being too robust. Best 'feel good' blend I've had!

★★☆☆☆

I was excited to buy this tea because who doesn't like chocolate covered strawberries! Unfortunately, it tasted like cocoa black tea with a faint hint of rose...and the tea is rather flat. Maybe I will get the vanilla and strawberry herbal teas separately and mix with this tea for better results.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite teas. Sweet and oh so good!

★★★★★

Where some taste like artificial candy, this blend has just the right hints of chocolate and strawberries. To die for!

★★★★☆

Strawberries and chocolate, a wonderful combination. Best with a bit of milk if you want the chocolate flavor to be more pronounced.

★★★☆☆

It tastes like black tea with maybe a hint of chocolate. Didn't do anything for me. You have to watch the brewing time carefully because it is easy for this one to get a nasty bitter taste.

This stuff is amazing. It's like drinking a chocolate. Definitely recommend putting some half and half in this, the creaminess makes it even more decadent.

The tea tasted very good. My sister and I drank it during a study session and it helped keep us up all night. It has a pleasant taste that actually does remind me of chocolate covered strawberries!
