Light and sweet, the initial flavors are vanilla and caramel but the chocolate flavors come later. This is a very smooth tea, I oversteeped it but it didn't burn.

got my boss interested in this one he can't wait for his order to arrive
Really interesting, tastes a lot like coffee lol, but it's still delicious. I recommend a splash of milk in the cup.
Got a sample size and found it very enjoyable! I would purchase again
This tea wasn't as good as I was expecting. Maybe I added too many leaves or steeped it too long but it just came out as...meh. I haven't really been drinking black teas lately so it could be that I just wasn't prepare for how strong it was. I will try it again and maybe it will be better
I love this combination of spices and flavors. It's a great tea to wake me up in the morning without too much caffeine. Pair it with some homemade snickerdoodle scones for a wonderful spicy experience.
This is a rather smooth combination that does shine when you add just a little sugar to it. Alone the blend is quite good, but not bulk-worthy for me. Though I think this would be a real kick to add into personal blends. I'll definitely keep this on my 'sample size' wishlists when I start making my own brews.
I'm wary of tea with chocolate flavor added. It just seemed weird. BUT I'm glad I took a chance with this because it's absolutely lovely.
Nice mix and taste. Nice pick me up (especially in the morning) without being too sweet or artificial tasting.
I really loved this tea! My roomate hated it so it is an acquired taste for sure. Had a rich coffee sort of flavor.
I loved this tea. I usually prefer slightly fruitier, lighter teas, but this one was perfect. The caramel flavor wasn't too strong, and it leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It also smells amazing.
This is a wonderfully warm and sensual tea. It starts with the complex chocolate and caramel aroma steaming up out of the tea pot. The flavor does not disappoint. Add a little honey and it becomes quite decadent.
Loved this one. Nice and smooth with just a hint of chocolate and caramel. Best sweetened with a splash of cream and a snack of crisp apples on the side.
I love the blend of chocolate and caramel. It's the perfect ratio and such a great name!
The chocolate taste really comes out in this one. It is almost like drinking candy.
This is a tasty chocolate tea. I prefer it to the chocolate chip tea.
Let me start out by saying that I am not very much a fan of black teas. I am a green tea person, with an occasional taste for herbal (not a huge fan of flowery white teas either). Well, if you're in the same boat as I am, I would still suggest you try this Tiger Eye tea. It smells /fantastic/. To me it smells like coffee and caramel, but I have a bad nose, so it might smell of something else to you.
I dislike chocolate as it tends to make me sick, but this tea is not overpowering with it, and whatever amount of chocolate that may be in this tea is complementary to the tea itself. I could definitely see this becoming one of my staple go-to teas in the future.
The taste is superb and is like relaxing into a dark blanket or perhaps a tub of tea. I am constantly torn between choosing to drink it and be happy or to save this tea for another day, when I might need it most! I recommend this tea to all of my friends.
Splendid work, Adagio and Tea Growers!
I love love LOVE the way this tea smells. I like mine with a little milk and sugar.
Good, but far from my favorite Adagio tea. It almost has a raisin taste to it. I probably won't be ordering it again.
Very flavorful, wonderful blend of chocolate and caramel, almost like drinking ice cream!
It's tastes like a tea version of hot chocolate, albeit with a good bit of caramel in there too. I certainly like it more than hot chocolate, though - more depth of flavor, and not as cloyingly sweet.
This tea is very good with milk and sugar, especially if you boil the milk and water together on the stove, then steep the tea in that.
Not sure if I'll get more of this. Very strong chocolate flavor. Not my 'cup of tea,' but if you like cocoa nibs in your tea you'll love this one.
This is a goto tea if I have no idea what to drink but I want it to be good. You can definitely taste the chocholatey note to it. Out of the three black teas I purchased last time (other two being caramel and hazelnut), this was my favorite.
This tea is a little too sweet for my taste. The carmel flavor is like dessert.
The taste of this tea reminds me very much of a turtle (candy, not reptile). It's very smooth and enjoyable, though the caramel is stronger than the chocolate and I would prefer a more powerful presence from the latter.
An amazing dessert-style tea that is a great way to soothe my sweet tooth later in the day. It has a wonderful sweet taste, and the smell is simply amazing (a co-worker on the other end of the room thought it smelled like maple syrup). Excellent choice for a general, sweet black tea.
One of the favourite teas that I received in my last order. I found it sweet enough on its own and didn't feel the need to add any agave. This has definitely been added to my 'must try as a latte' list.
This tea tastes like it smells. Too sweet and a little artificial. Not a fan, there are so many other better teas to buy on this site.
This is far too sweet for me, but my roommates loved it.
This tea gets very strong, and as a result the chocolate/caramel combination gets very musky. Lovely with cream and just a touch of sugar.
Sweet, but a nice alternative to a high sugar coffee drink!
Delicious! This is a great dessert tea that tastes great with milk or just as it is. I also discovered that mixing equal parts of this tea with the Cream flavored tea makes a rich, very delectable cup of tea.
It was relatively good, a bit too bitter for my taste.
I got this as a free sample with my order. I could definitely smell and taste the caramel. The chocolate was more of an undertone. It was good but nothing special.
At first, all I experienced from this tea was an artificial chocolate aroma, which was not pleasant. After a few sips, it grew on me... a little. I do think it has potential for blends though.
I wasn't super excited about having another chocolate tea--I tried the valentine's recently, and that tasted artificial and waxy, like fake chocolate. But the tiger eye was a free sample, so. I was pleasantly surprised when this did not have any waxiness at all: less like chocolate candy and more like quality baking cocoa. Like baking cocoa it's a little bitter, but the caramel (plus a little milk and sugar) lightens it up and turns it into a sweet dessert tea. A little extra chocolate would not go amiss, but then, it never does.
I like this tea, but it was a bit stronger than I like, and I can only really drink it when I add another tea to it. I really do like it though, it's smokey, and gives one a warm feeling.
I opened the bag and, whoa, lo and behold it smells like diabetes. Or caramel. It smells really sweet, is what I mean. And it tastes pretty good. This, however, is the type of tea that I can only drink every once in a while because otherwise the sweetness of the smell puts me off. I'm weird, I know. I don't quite understand why either.
I enjoy this one immensely. Black teas tend to be my favorite, so if you are a black tea lover. Enjoy
A wonderful tea out of the bag that smell like sweet caramel with chocolate tones running underneath.
I was startled but genuinely pleased to find this tea tastes exactly like a mocha caramel latte. Who knew tea could even do that? Well, I do now. Sugar and cream bring out these qualities even more.
A really great chocolate/caramel flavored tea. I'm not usually a huge fan of flavored teas but this one is excellent. It has an incredibly deep complexity with very heavy chocolate and pipe tobacco flavors. It finishes with the smoothness of the caramel and a heavy dash of cinnamon in the aftertaste leaves you longing for the next sip. A great tea to satisfy your sweet tooth even if you don't add sugar. The second infusion is much milder and much less complex. disappointing compared to the first. I'd only use this blend for one brew.
This has a pretty pronounced caramel flavor. A little too sweet for a morning tea but definitely good for dessert.
Opening the bag, you can tell right away that this tea is something special. The chocolate and caramel flavors blend together so well, it's amazing. This just tastes so smooth.
Tiger Eye is one of my favorite teas to use in blends. The chocolate and caramel is a flawless combination. The flavors compliment one another and when brewed flow together as though the sensation of silk gliding over your skin could be translated into a taste.
This tea is great. I like the sweetness that it has and it tastes very warm and cozy. I think I prefer something like the chestnut, but this is a nice substitute when I am out of the other. Lovely for a cold day!
I liked this blend, but I don't know as I would go out of my way to place a larger order. It kind of has a turtle chocolate candy flavor going on but it didn't WOW me.
Update: However, my friend LOVED this tea. I am ordering more for a birthday gift.
This tea smells amazing in the pouch and the aroma after it's brewed is fantastic! There wasn't quite enough caramel for me in it, but it was still a delicious tea! I felt indulgent for sure!
Smooth and sweet. The chocolate scent is rather strong from the container, but mellows out in the drink. A nice tea for any time of day.
