This tea is wonderful! It s a little sweeter than I had expected, but not in a bad way. Definitely best enjoyed with a splash of milk or cream.
Didn't notice coconut was in the ingredients. Unfortunately, I am allergic to coconut and had to pass this off to a friend of mine.
Refreshing & not an in-your-face flavor...atypical of black tea but I love it! I hope this blend becomes regularly available!
LOVE. The smell is wonderful, although the taste is mild compared to the scent. The coconut is not as strong as I thought it would be, although still very delicious. I prefer with a little cream and pinch of sugar, which intensify the vanilla flavor.
I followed the brewing instructions & added some coconut creamer to it...It was ok. Definitely not a powerful tea, it was just too subtle. Could have been that I expecting something different?! I wish it had more flavor!
This tea has a much lighter flavor than I was expecting. It has a very pleasnet natural sweetness, and I plan on trying it cold next time to see if it comes across better that way than it did drinking it hot.
This is a damn good tea. Let me tell you all a story first.
Based on Adagio's recommendation, I first made this with condensed milk. It was the only sweetener I used, and let me tell you, NO. Very milky, couldn't taste the tea, and it smelled bad. Don't make the mistake I did (unless you like that sort of thing). Then I had it black, and wow, it's delicious. Smooth and sweet, none of the flavors overpowering. I should've read a little more about preparing it traditionally, so I'll have to try again!
This is a very good, subtle tea with very light flavors of coconut & vanilla. I couldn't detect the cardamom much but still enjoyable-- a good one to try if you like the Bella Luna tea. If you want restaurant-style Thai tea, you should still probably buy the stuff from Thai Markets with the artificial colors added (so yum) but this is a great alternative to chai or other flavored teas if you just want to try something new!
It's...alright. It definitely smells lovely, but flavor-wise it's a pale imitation of Thai tea. More of a muted coconut-vanilla flavor than anything else, with maybe a hint of cardamom.
The scent of this tea in the bag or tin is perfection. They could practically sell it as a fragrance. The tea is aromatic, sweetly spiced, good for sipping slowly. Lovely hot with a touch of honey or agave, with or without a little almond milk. I haven t tried it iced yet, but it seems like it would do well iced, too.
I love the Thai Chai and I was so excited to the Thai Tea. The tea is perfect as it is or with a little bit of cream adn sugar. I was out of sweetened condensed milk but my extra cream extra sweet coffee creamer did the trick.
I used a coconut creamer in this tea and it was wonderful! It's sweet and has a lot of coconut flavor and just a little bit of spice. Really good!
The balance of spices and the note of coconut are pleasant and tasty. As much as I dislike 'smokey' flavors, however, there is a note of smoke or something similar I expect to find in a true thai tea that I'm not tasting in this one. This is a good tea, but not really robust enough for a strong dose of milk.
I love this tea. I found it a really enjoyable flavor combination.
I love a good iced Thai tea. This is... very close. It s lovely and majestic as its own thing, but it doesn t *quite* hit exactly the flavor that Thai teas I ve had do? The coconut and slight apple fruitiness make it subtly different - but that isn t a bad thing. It s very close to perfect, and it s tasty as its own thing, and I will definitely end up with a giant bag of this in the near future.
Pleasant tea. I wish more of the coconut came through, perhaps I just need to let this steep a bit longer.
I want to love this tea so much. The idea of it is amazing. It just doesn t have any flavor to me, and I always add more tea than is recommended since I like strong tea. I wanted a strong flavor of coconut and cardamom, but all I get is a muted vanilla flavor. I m really disappointed. I guess it s back to Thai chai for me.
Fantastic and flavorful tea with just enough sweetness. Now all I need to do is get some Thai takeout to have with this tea.
I'm in love!! It really smooth and would taste great with milk!
Delicious, smooth, very pleasant with some Almond Milk and honey!
