This was very good but I thought since it is 'Fiery' it might have little heat involved. But, not to worry, I just added some cinnamon oil and think it is great either way.
This tea packs the perfect punch of cinnamon flavor, blended with Ceylon tea, orange peels, and cloves.

perfect tea on a cold day. Has a fireball candy feel in a nice hot drinkable tea. Great flavor and the smell is just great.
Apparently I'm not as much of a cinnamon fan as I thought. Way too spicy and bitter for me, but if you love cinnamon you might like it better. I used the rest of the sample playing around with adding to other teas, which was fun.
I love cinnamon and it's one of my favorite flavors. I'll eat cinnamon candies like their nothing. So, I thought with this being advertised as 'fiery' that it'd have some kick. It was 'anemically cinnamon', at best. There was a vague flavor of cinnamon and cloves, more cloves than anything and while sugar helped, it was very unimpressive.
I love cinnamon, but this was a bit too overpowering. Ground/powdered cinnamon coated the bottom of my mug.
My husband's favorite tea. The cinnamon is very heavy and high quality! Sometimes we add a pinch to other teas
This smells like a fireball, and I expected it would be cinnamon-spicy. But, it's pleasantly not! It has a great cinnamon flavor and I regret only buying a sample size, so I'm going back for more!
This is an earthy flavored tea. I was hoping for more of a cinnamon/spice flavor, but this is rather bland.
This is one of my favorite teas. The flavor reminds me of cinnamon red hot candies and registers as sweet enough I don't need to add sugar or other sweeteners. You can get a second pot out of the leaves, but the cinnamon flavor will be less. There may be astringent lees at the bottom of the cup, so to that last sip.
I can’t get enough of this tea! It is my absolute favorite and it is great to pair with other teas that don’t have much for flavor!
I was really hoping for a bolder cinnamon. I have a favorite from another brand that is really bold and spicy, which i love, and was trying to see if this would be similar.
Just like cinnamon in a cup! Delicious on a cold winter's night. Definitely plan to order a lot to keep in stock after the season.
Really enjoyed the tea. The cinnamon is not over powering which is the case with other cinnamon based teas.
I had hoped that this tea would have a substantial cinnamon flavor, and it delivers. The aroma in the bag reminds me of cinnamon red hots/imperials. No sweetener is needed for me. It's a snowy day where I am, so this is perfect.
I actually prefer this loose tea as an additive to other warming teas, such as nut or chai flavors, rather than by itself.
Deliciously spicy! While drinking this, I felt warmed from the cinnamon. Great for winter and great on ice.
Right out of the bag, this smells like cinnamon gum. It's uncanny. Once it brews, it smells much more like what it tastes like: A fairly strong black tea with a hint of cinnamon. I couldn't really taste the orange or clove, even after the tea cooled, which disappointed me a bit. Even so, it's a lovely cup that mellows beautifully as it steeps. I don't recommend this if you're looking for a real kick, though. The cinnamon lingers in the background for this one, despite the name.
Warm, hot, spicy - absolutely delicious. Tastes delicious hot, but also yummy cold the next afternoon if you made a large pot of tea.
I didn't expect to love this as much as I do. It is definitely a strong cinnamon flavor but it has depth and a softness to it too.
Delicious!! There really is nothing else to say! I purchased a sample and then a larger bag. My go to morning tea
I am a huge cinnamon lover so I get the mix of the cinnamon with the orange burst.
CommuniTEA 11/10/22: Somehow I’ve not reviewed this before?
My palate is bland. This is intentional because I’m a supertaster with unfortunate sensitivity to certain spices, particularly elements like piperine and capsaicin. Tiny weak flecks of cracked peppercorn from a table shaker are often too “hot” since the effect is so magnified it can cause pain. When my husband learned today’s tea was called fiery cinnamon spice he asked if I could physically drink this due to the words fiery and spice. Happily I was able to beam at him. “Yep, I love this tea!” It’s comforting and cozy, sweetly cinnamon like Big Red gum but at the same time it doesn’t strike me as artificial at all, what’s not to love?
Inside the packet is a delightful mess of mahogany: black tea leaf mingling with cinnamon chips and a clove or little shred of orange peel, all settled under the dusty cover of cinnamon powder. Breathe slow and deep to appreciate the scent from a respectful distance of 12” but if you breathe too sharply too near the tea you may inhale the silt!
I enjoy this best at a lower temperature for a longer steep, around 195F for 3.5-4min. I also enjoy crystal-clear tea in my cup. For that I developed my own double filter method: use ingenuiTEA to steep, tear about 1.5” down from the opening on both sides of an Adagio paper filter pouch, position this open inside of a cup with the top edges over the lip of either side, and set the ingenuiTEA over the prepared cup to empty. The tea is already strained once through the ingenuiTEA and the paper filter catches the excess cinnamon powder so it doesn’t settle at the bottom of the cup. Yes it’s a lot of rusty dust left in the trap but you get all the flavor and none of the sediment this way.
This tea tastes like the best part of those red hots candies, sweet cinnamon with just a touch of heat. It’s not something I would want to drink a lot of, but it’s fun
This is a super flavorful tea for when you’re feeling adventurous. It’s like a red hot in a cup!
Nov '22 CommuniTea Update: still a fabulous tea that's perfect for cold days or any day.
Tastes like drinking red hots candy, which I love. Full of long lasting flavor. One of my new fave teas!
CommuniTEA 11/10/22: a delightful sweet spicy cup! The black tea base is still present under the cinnamon (so like cinnamon toast instead of red hots candy) and naturally sweet from the cinnamon. Great for cooler weather.
212°F for 3 minutes
I am a huge fan of cinnamon. To say I was excited for this tea would be an understatement. At first sip I fell in love with it. I will for sure be getting this again
too much spice for me! adding some milk and sweetener definitely helped a little, but still not something id drink regularly
This was a nice cinnamony tea. I had actually had it previously as part of the single teas in the mixed box - black flavored. I like it and it was a good wake up tea!
Real liked this one. The spice was strong, but in a good way.
A very pleasant, warm and cozy cinnamon. Perfect with a bit of honey!
Wow, this is such a delight - I've never had any cinnamon candies, so I can't compare this to that. However, it's got such a dark cinnamon taste - not spicy hot, but rather that pleasant, tingly, warmed up gut sort of spice you want on a colder day. The orange and cloves are on the background in terms of taste, but make a light, though lovely, appearance at the end of every sip.
I really enjoy this one. I have a larger package of it besides the satchel from the communitea set. I love this one with a few dashes of sugar crystals when I have a particularly tedious workday ahead of me. It does not need sweetening at all, but it works very well with sugar or honey. SUPER CINNAMON, so watch out. This one usually brews a bit cloudy and messy for me, likely due to the cinnamon jammed in it. Worth a try if you are a spicy one. Nice and stimulating, warm, fiery.
I wish this was a pure cinnamon without the additional flavor of orange and clove.
Tik-Tok cinnamon challenge mash-up with tea. True as it’s name implies. Strong cinnamon. Just a tad to strong for me, yet it was still smooth. No bitterness just spicy.
Nov. '22 --Update--No clove visible in my communitea packet so I added one and it really brought all of the flavors forward. Not sure I'll switch brands, but a much better cup than before.
Feb. '22 -- Disappointed, with this tea. I'm sure a bit of honey would do a lot to reduce the mild bitterness and increase the spiciness, but I'll probably just stick with the H&S version.
Rich, super-sweet cinnamon flavor explodes throughout this sip! Orange and cloves add a bit of depth, but spicy cinnamon is the stand-out. I definitely recommend using more tea to water than usual since this blend is mostly cinnamon by weight.
As cinnamon-heavy teas go, this one is great! It tastes a lot like those little cinnamon candies, complete with a faint candy-like sweetness, but without any fake-tasting “cinnamon flavor” – this really tastes like the real deal, but then again I would expect nothing less from Adagio! The cloves and orange add just enough complexity to make this tea interesting without taking away from the star of the show. I’m actually not normally a big fan of cinnamon-heavy teas, but this one is so well-blended that I’m really enjoying it.
very cinamon. got stronger as it cooled. I wonder how this would be as a herbal only (remove the tea).
CommuniTEA portion: Brewed at 195 for 3 minutes. So take this review with the thought that I am NOT a fan of red hots or cinnamon gum/candy of any sort. I do love me some straight up cinnamon though. This tea had way too much of the former for me. I thought the first few sips were okay and then the spice that I don't care for kicked in. I was drinking it slowly and as the tea cooled it was all Red Hots all the time! So not for me, but if that is your thing - drink up for me too! 🔥
Very cinnamon with sweetness derived from cinnamon bark (diabetic friendly). Although I enjoyed the flavor of this tea, it is a pale comparison to Harney & Son's Hot Cinnamon Spice (that which it tries to copy).
CommuniTEA Review:
Did anyone else every have those Atomic Fireball candys growing up (hard candy)? because that is what this tea smells and taste like to me. I liked it because I cinnamon.
November 10th, 2022 communiTea. Oh this is delightful! It’s like drinking Red Hots candy (or a Fireball candy) but with caffeine! The spicy cinnamon isn’t “hot” spicy, and I’m the person that finds mild salsa very spicy. I love it - such a great tea.
I love this spicy cinnamon tea! It's not too overpowering and is especially awesome with a healthy dollop of whipped cream!
This is one of the better cinnamon teas I've had! You get the warming flavors of cinnamon and not the 'I just ate a spoonful of pure cinnamon' kind. It's definitely a tea worth getting if you're a spiced tea or cinnamon tea fan!
Delicious cinnamon flavor. The smell was very strong in the package, but the tea is just the right amount of cinnamony.
This is a fun one that tastes a little like those old red hot candies, except a bit sweeter. It’s a nice blend and I think would be great for particularly cold mornings.
If you like cinnamon, this is the tea for you! There was a lovely dust of cinnamon over the tea, and it also included chunks of orange. It’s a lovely tea for a rainy day like today!
This tea smells so spicy, but I didn’t get any of that spice in my first few sips…I also did not see any orange or ginger in my packet.
The flavor built and layered slowly as I drank this tea though. It was warm, but not spicy, not really. As I got closer to the bottom of the cup, that’s when I get more body from the brew, the cloying, tingly taste of fireball candies and cinnamon sugar.
I guess this brew needs to be stirred frequently to disperse the flavor, or maybe I didn’t brew it long enough?
I went with the advice of another review and used 7 oz for my communiTEA packet, and steeped just over 3 mins. Holy cinnamon! Very bold and delicious, though a little bitter. I likely could've added a bit more water to avoid this, or steeped just a tad less. I couldn't taste the orange, there was just a small piece in my packet. But there was a bit of sweetness to the tea, which complimented the cinnamon nicely. I added a bit of sugar, and decided I liked it better without. Tried honey, yes, this was better.
I was able to do a second, steep with half the amount of water. It was toned down, but still very good. I'll be adding this one to my next purchase. Makes the tummy feel great.
