I was so surprised to open my bag and find actual dried rose petals inside! It tastes just like it's name. I felt like I was sitting in a garden. I really enjoyed this blend.

★★★★★

Really enjoyed this tea both hot and iced with honey added

★★★★★

Reminds me of a spring day! Wonderful and such a beautiful smell!!

★★★★★

Ok, so like most people, when I first brew this tea, I wills ay that the rose petal colors are not what they seem in the picture! I was confused but didn't let that get to me. The taste wasn't really too floral, which I was a little disappointed about. However, once only brewing just a teaspoon of the leaves, the taste actually came out more. It's not too floral for people who can't stand the taste but is just floral enough for people who just want something as a relaxing black tea. It's great for those sunny spring mornings as you look outside the window~

Fresh and floral. Not overpowering. I enjoy this tea hot or iced.

This tea was great! though sometimes I would blend this with the wild strawberry tea. I loved the floral notes so much

When I opened the pack, I could smell roses right away. The tea is mild, without any bitterness, and smells HEAVENLY, like a rose garden. Made me think of June weddings and beautiful bouquets. The rose flavor isn't overpowering, and lingers nicely. It's great even without sweetener, and I even liked it cold.

★★★★☆

This was another nice floral tea, it was perfect for the evening, a nice light tea.

★★★★★

enjoyed this tea very much. a very good afternoon pick me up with a wonderful rose aroma and taste.

I am indifferent towards this tea. I could smell the rose scent but that is about it. My friend, who also likes tea, really liked it though.

★★★★★

I love the strong rose/floral note in this tea. It's like a mid-summer evening in a cup. Great when sweetened with a honey made from citrus flowers.

So far, out of all the types of tea I've purchased from Adagio this is my absolute favorite black tea. I've always been fond of roses, and for me it has a very calming sensation.

A wonderful breakfast, or afternoon tea, it has a very floral aroma. (You know, cause roses!) I add a little sugar to mine. After doing some tests with brew time, this tea has yet to become to bitter or dark.

★★★★☆

Fresh smooth late afternoon tea, good one to share with all your friends

★★★★☆

Pretty and powerful. The rose comes through in a perfect amount, not too strong or too suttle

★★★★☆

This is good rose aroma and taste. I would try it for something different.

★★★★☆

Love the smell, rose flavor was stronger than I expected, but overall very good. I would like to try more floral blend teas from Adagio

★★★★☆

I really liked this tea! It's great both by itself and mixed with the strawberry black tea. It's just the right amount of floral and sweet. I'll definitely be buying this again!

This tea makes me feel so royal but if you use too much it kicks you in the mouth. Use honey!!

★★★★★

one of my ABSOLUTE favorite teas of all time!! The rose flavor is subtle and calming but lightly sweet at the same time. This tea can easily be steeped more than once if you time it right! A perfect blend of roses and black tea

★★★★☆

This tea is pretty good and you can definitely taste the roses.

I am really hooked on this tea. A friend on Instagram posted a photo of her recent Adagio haul and this one was in there amongst the other bags and I was so intrigued by the name of it, that I had to look it up on the site and see what was in it. I really love black teas in general and especially blends of floral and black so I got a sample and I was in love! As another reviewer mentioned, you do not want to over steep. I actually like to blend in some straight up rose tea petals (buds actually) that I already had in my tea stash to add even more rosiness to this one. I like a little splash of half n half and some raw honey with it too. Excellent!! I do not know what temp I use, since I don't really measure the temp each time I make it, I just get my kettle to boiling and pour it over the leaves, cover my tea mug with a lid, and infuse for the recommended time on the package (like 2-3 mins.) If my tea is getting re-steeped, I go a little longer. It might get a tin bit bitter but the honey takes the edge off. I only re-steep twice or three times max.

3rd times the charm. I finally got the timing down right and actually only used a tsp for a 16 oz cup of water. It has a very nice rose flavor without being overpowering. Personally, I could use a touch more rose but that's my personal opinion. Overall, very nice but be so so so careful about how you prepare it! It completely makes or breaks this tea.

★★★★★

I absolutely ADORE this tea! The rose notes are true and leave a wonderful aftertaste that not only highlights the rose on the palate but also on the nose. The rose petals help to blur away the slightly bitter taste that a strong cup of black tea can deliver, and it's really wonderful iced as well!

I absolutely love this tea. I had never heard of it before joining this site. I now buy plenty, as its scent is wonderful and fills me with joy! The taste is sweet and flowery, and very calming. I recommend this to anyone who is looking to relax!

One of my favorite teas. I love the rosy fragrance and the sweet, slightly rosy flavor. Goes wonderfully with milk, but even more wonderfully with just some stevia.

★★★★★

I love adding rose petals to my black tea, and this is one of my favorites. The rose oil finishes this blend perfectly.

I was a little hesitant to try this tea. I'm so-so on the rose's fragrance so drinking roses didnt seem appealing. I'm very glad I gave it a shot. Its a nice black tea with just a hint of rose at the end and quite tasty.

★★★★☆

This tea is quite nice, it definitely has that wonderful rose aroma. And I can taste the rose, but personally- I'd add even more rose. The black tea almost overpowers the rose.

★★★★★

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful aroma, taste, and vibration

★★★★★

Roses are my one of my favorite flowers. Let it steep for 5 minutes bringing out the settle taste of rose. Soothing after a nice yoga workout.

★★★★☆

Super tasty, and the right amount of floral without being soapy. I love rose teas, but sometimes the rose is overpowering. So props to Adagio for making a rose tea that's nicely balanced!

Although I usually drink fruity teas, I really liked this floral-based tea. I prepared it as iced tea. Will purchase again.

★★★★★

Makes a great iced tea if brewed and left to cool, especially if mixed with milk. Perfect summer refreshment.

★★★★★

This tea smells strongly of perfume when you first open the pouch and that flavor carries over when it's brewed. I brew this one at only two minutes at boiling to prevent that (as another reviewer suggested).
When brewed this way, it's a very fragrant but calming tea. I daresay it's going to replace my morning Earl Grey!

light, sweet, fruity... it's perfect! the rose petals are gorgeous.

★★★★★

Oh my! This is lovely! I'm a sucker for rose teas, but it's hard to find them mixed with black tea. This is my favorite afternoon tea. The smell of rose is so relaxing. Highly recommend!

★★★★☆

This is great as a little addition to some of the others like the earl grey bravo!!!

★★★★★

I love this one with the roses that give it a really nice smooth finish. It's strong but smooth. Nice.

★★★★★

It's okay by itself, but this one really started to shine once I added milk and sugar to it. I think this is going to be one that I drink plain if it's late in the day, but will want to be heavier if it's earlier. It has a rather strong floral taste (but not an unpleasant one!), which the milk helps mellow out somewhat. On a similar note, it works well mixing with cream black tea.

★★★★☆

I couldn't drink a cup of this on its own, but I mix it with cherry to make iced tea and it adds something. I use about a 1/4 teaspoon or less of summer rose to every teaspoon of cherry.

I added rock sugar, honey, and one additional dried rose bud and it was absolutely to die for! I know I will be ordering this tea again, that is for sure

★★★★★

This tea makes me feel like I am walking through a rose garden.
Love it!

★★★★★

Very flora, not overwhelming and delightful always a nice tea.

★★★★★

I really enjoy this tea. It tastes like tea brewed in rose water.

★★★★★

i loved the floral ness of this tea!! I usually don't like floral teas but this one is great

★★★★★

Got this as a sample in my last order not expecting all that much from it flavour-wise. I'm actually quite surprised by how much I enjoy this tea, the rose doesn't fade into the tea or overpower it. Instead, it's a pleasant hint of rose with every sip. Good on its own but even better when a bit of honey is added, like a delicious dessert tea. I'll more than likely buy some with my next order.

My all time favorite. I love mine with cream and honey. The smell is so wonderful. The ingredients should include: dreams, rainbows, and unicorns.

Oh my gosh this is like drinking a rose in a cup. I've only recently been turned onto floral teas, so maybe it's just a little too intensely rosey for me. It's not a bad tea per se, I think I just need to find the right tea to blend it with.
