This is a very fragrant and relaxing tea that makes me think of gardening and summer. Not as flavorful and robust as other teas I've tried. It is mild, but fragrant.

This tea is AMAZING! It is truly my go-to 'queenly' or ('kingly') tea any time of year, as I feel like a queen every time I sit down for a cup. The rose flavor is not overwhelming. in fact, it is perfect! Thank you Adagio!

I was excited about this tea. I love roses and black tea, but strangely this tea didn't do it for me. It wasn't bad, or good. Just kinda plain to my taste.
I really like this tea. After reading the other reviews, I tried it mixed with the cream flavored tea and compared it to the rose by itself. I have to say I enjoyed it by itself far more. I was worried it would be too floral, so I brewed it slightly weaker than I normally would. I don't think the rose was overpowering at all. It is smooth and delicious and you get the rose as an after taste. I purchased the sample this time, but will definitely be back for a full bag. Thank you!
For some reason this tea is a great pick-me-up in the office in the afternoon. You get a bit of a boost from the caffeine in the black tea, but it's the rose scent that seems to refresh or stimulate me. I haven't studied the aromatherapy effect of rose scent, but it works. The flavor is a bit unusual at least to me, mild but noticeable, and very pleasant. You won't regret trying this one.
Summer Rose was absolutely delightful! If you enjoy the flavor of rose, which I do, this is simply delicious.
my cousin brought me a rose black tea from her hometown in china and i have been searching for a good replacement for it until now! this is a perfect balance of a natural tasting rose flavor and black tea. brewed exactly as instructions say to. will be rebuying!
I quite like this tea, summer or not. I am a sucker for anything rose flavored really, but its still a balance of having an aromatic quality that isn't artificial or overwhelming and this tea does a good job of it. Well blended, I'm sure I'll be back for more.
This is a really excellent floral tea. While I was in Taiwan, I developed a fancy for rose tea, but hadn't found one I particularly liked until now. Very good hot and cold. I will be ordering this one again.
A nice dark tea bursting with rose aroma. It tastes even better that a Rose Pouchong. Definitely recommended for lovers of rose teas.
The rose comes out in the aftertaste, because at first the black tea is pretty strong. As far as floral teas go, this one is really good. The scent makes it seem so luxurious.
This tastes exactly what walking through a rose garden smells like. It's nice and rosy but not overwhelmingly so. And it's so pretty to look at with the rose petals! It's good with sugar, with milk, by itself, or any combination.
This tea was pretty good. The rose smell is lovely straight out of the bag. If not steeped too long, the flavor is very nice. A bit bitter if allowed to go too long.
It was sweet and not overly bitter with the black tea. All in all a wonderful tea. It is a berry floral which I love. I like to fix it as a sweet cold tea in the spring and summer.
If you have ever taken a rose petal and chewed on it, that horrid flavor is not what this tea tastes like. It tastes just like it smells, like roses. I feel like the rose flavor over powers the tea flavor, so if you don't like floral-y teas, or only want a touch of rose, be warned.
I love floral tea and absolutely LOVE roses. This is the perfect combination of both. It has a pleasant rose flavor that isn't artificial. Some people might think it a bit overwhelming, but for me it's perfect. Since it's a black tea it should only be steeped for 5 minutes at most otherwise, it will get extremely bitter.
You have to be careful not to steep this one too long, because the black tea is strong. But if you get the steeping just right, the tea has a great flavor. The rose petals bring a really nice flavor to it. If you like floral flavors, it's a good buy.
Rose has been one of my favorite tea flavors for years, and this Summer Rose tea lives up to all my very high expectations. Wonderful floral aroma that is balanced perfectly with a medium bodied black tea. If you enjoy floral flavors, give this tea a shot!

I bought a sample of this tea and drank all of it in three days, and already reordered more. My friend even had two cups with me while we were handing out. In these cold winters it warms my soul.

Rose tea is so elegant. It's easy to oversteep but other than that it's great. Just the smell of it is amazing.
This is such a pretty tea! I can't taste too much rose in it since the black tea likes to over power you but, it's still delicious. I just love rose teas that have roses over power it instead like the Tulsi rose tea.

This tea is light and lovely! It's not too floral in taste, though it does smell very 'rosy'. I was careful not to over-brew as I thought it might get bitter, but even at 5 minutes it's nice and smooth and not bitter at all. It's great with a splash of milk and honey, and I can't wait to try it iced!
I really enjoy lovely floral flavors. this rose tea hit the spot. Be careful not to forget and oversteep this tea - it can become very bitter. It's currently my top pick for the morning.

This tea is amazing as a hot milk tea. seriously. brew it strong, add condensed milk, and sweeten with whatever you choose. you won't regret it.

This tastes as good as it smells (which is really good!). I wasn't so sure if I'd like this tea when I ordered it, but I'm very pleasantly surprised.
The rose fragrance is very apparent when you first open up this tea and if you're a fan of rose, then it's a treat, but if you're not expecting it, it may seem a bit strong. I find that the black tea base mellow out the flavor some so after it's steeped and brewed you're not feeling like you're drinking straight rose water. It's very pleasant in taste and flavor, definitely floral, but as long as you key into how long it steeps, you can find a good balance.
I enjoyed this quite a bit, but I kept wishing that the rose flavor was more dominant. It's not weak at all, yet I bought this wanting to taste roses, not roses-and-black-tea. My mother had essentially the same reaction to it. Still, it's a lot better than most of the rose-flavored teas out there. I've already used this tea in several of my signature blends and I expect I'll continue to return to it. It's pretty easy to overbrew it on its own, sadly, but if done right, it's a wonderfully floral cup. The aroma is better than the flavor in some ways - intensely rosaceous.
My sister and I think its perfect. A little honey brings out all the flavors, and its smells rosy too!
Just tasted my new order of summer rose. I'm hooked. Wonderful blend and will keep this in stock. After many many cups of summer rose I now feel like I can't live without it. After many months of having this tea I still recommend it.
