I have been trying to broaden my tea horizons to flavored tea as I usually just drink black teas. This one has a beautiful hint of the strawberry without being too overpowering and I really enjoyed it. I did not add any sweetener and I was able to get three nice steeps, each with increased steeping time.

My husband likes berry iced teas. This was very good.

Great taste. Love it chilled for iced tea. Well worth a try.

Bright and sweet, this tea is wonderful hot or iced.

Pretty tasteless, unfortunately. I can barely taste the strawberry, honestly.

This has a true strawberry flavor. It’s good on its own but I also like it mixed with the cream tea or the chocolate tea. Definitely recommend!

Exactly what you would want from a strawberry black tea. Good hot or iced.
★★★☆☆
Fruity tea, lightly sweet. Decent as a hot tea but I'm sure it will be better iced once it isn't winter outside anymore!

Delicious! I love a good fruity black tea and this one is great. I use milk and sweetener

I did not like this tea. I dont like many black teas with flavors though.

When I opened the package the tea had a nice strawberry smell. The tea also had a lovely strawberry flavor that was not overpowering.

Strong scent to this tea, with an okay level of flavor. With a bit of sugar made this nice, and now I want to try brewing it cold. (CommuniTEA)

Loved the smell, but not the taste. It tasted ok with hot milk though.

I was not impressed with this black tea. I have had tastier strawberry black teas.

SO delicious! I enjoyed this hot — I was worried it would taste artificial, but it didn’t! No sweetener needed!
★★★★☆
I probably should have steeped this a little longer but it smelled so good I was impatient. Nice strawberry flavor.
★★★☆☆
This was okay. It tasted much better with cream, but unfortunately, I felt like the strawberry was too light.

Wow. What a wonderful iced tea!! It tastes like you are eating an actual strawberry. I love how all of adagio’s flavored teas actually taste like real fruit, as opposed to the fake candy flavorings. The strawberry was no exception!! A spoonful of sugar really brought the sweetness out. Will become a regular in my pantry for sure!

I really enjoyed this tea. I tend to like fruit teas, as long as they aren't too fake/medicine tasting. This one was not too in your face, but the strawberry taste still made itself known. I usually don't put cream in fruit teas, just a couple cubes of sugar, but decided to try it with this one and was glad I did. Reminded me of eating strawberries sprinkled with sugar and cream poured on them. A treat I used to love when I was a kid. Tasted as part of The CommuniTea.

Love this tea. Love the caffeine and that it is black tea and the strawberry flavour is amazing. Not bitter and light and delicious

A bold black tea with a hint of strawberry on the palate and lawn clippings to the nose. Boring.

Rooty tooty jammy fruity! The scent of candied strawberries came charging at me the whole time I was preparing this cup of tea, from when I opened the packet to when the first curls of steam started wafting off the steeping leaves. Even unsweetened, the strawberry jam flavor is so pungent that the cup almost tastes sweet; but a medium amount of sweetener takes it over the top. If I wasn't already loyal to the decaf version of this one, it would be going in my cart! (3 mins @ 200 F, 2 drops EZ-Sweetz)

This tea! The smell hit me as soon as I opened my CommuniTea packet. Beautiful strawberry tea. I enjoyed this hot sweetened, but I'm sure it's equally good iced.

If you like a good, solid, fruit flavored black tea, I think this one is for you.
My tea only had one tiny little red speck of strawberry in it, and was mostly black tea leaves, but I think a larger bag would have a better mixture than just one spoonful.
I, however, brewed my tea at least 5 minutes due to a phone call interruption, so my tea was STRONG by user error. Some sugar sorted me out, but I would say to maybe brew at 200° instead of 212° if you want less bitterness. I like a tiny bit of bitterness in my black tea, but not too much!
I did enjoy this tea more than other brands' similar teas.

It takes like the cheap strawberry candies without any if the sweetness. Probably really good with sweetener or cream.

This one reminds me of tea at my grandmother's house. She often kept those little strawberry hard candies around, and the smell of this tea was so reminiscent of that. And this tea is a bit like drinking a strong black tea while eating one of those candies. I did go with a lower steeping temperature to avoid some of the bitterness and astringency that can be common in ceylon teas. My water was somewhere between 180 and 190 degrees I believe--the joys of not having a variable temp kettle at the office. I let it steep for 3 minutes and quite enjoyed it. Would be absolutely lovely as an iced tea.

Great strawberry tea! I made a latte with it; like Strawberries & Cream.
A favorite with blueberry. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA October box.

Subtlety sweet, with just enough strawberry flavor to be tasty and not medicinal. 🍓 🍓

Lovely taste and smell! I drank mine with sugar/sweetener, but no milk.

This is one of those teas that you have to figure out how you like it--some people prefer it plain, some need sweetener, some need cream, some need all of the above, but once you figure out how you prefer it it's a solid flavor. I like it brewed extra strong (double the loose tea) with some sugar added.

Delicious strawberry tea. Cant go wrong with this!

Smelled great, actual tea flavor fell short. Strawberry is mild. Good tea, just not winner winner for me

This one smells fantastic... that said I much prefer the Valentine's tea. The strawberry in this one was a little too subtle, and I had to wait for it. I personally like the black tea coming through a little more in this one- even with it being a little bitter, I felt like it was smooth enough. (I also tend to like double-strength, dark-roast coffee.) I don't hate it, but I will continue to purchase Valentine's. I steeped this one at 206 (because I'm too lazy to wait another few minutes for 212) for 5ish minutes. I added stevia and a little creamer after the first sip.

This is a solid black tea with mild strawberry flavoring. Initially, the strongly artificial smell of the leaves is off-putting. Fortunately, that fades once the leaves are brewed. At that point, the aroma of the Ceylon dominates the scene. Be careful to use only 1 tsp when brewing this one. At 2 tsp, this tea is so bitter as to be almost undrinkable. (3 min @ 212°F)

Smelled like strawberry quik powder in the packet. The taste - not quite so. The black tea overpowered the strawberry as I wished for a bit more strawberry flavor. Overall a good tea which I may get in the future and add some dried strawberries.

After reading a friend's review, I steeped this at 200 for 10 minutes instead of following the instructions on my CommuniTEA packet and I am so glad that I did. I can still obviously taste the black tea, but having steeped it longer at a lower temp, I'm getting a lot more of the strawberry flavor in spite of the fact that my packet had some leaves and the tea, but nary a piece of strawberry in sight. I also added a rock of sugar and that helped bring out the flavors as well.

The aroma of this tea is positively delicious! It’s a kind of jammy, fruity strawberry that makes my mouth water. The flavor is more of the same, one of my favorite fruit teas that I’ve tried from adagio, it’s fresh and realistic strawberry that I suspect would make an absolutely fantastic iced tea. I brewed this a little lower temperature than suggested to amplify the fruity flavor and it was exactly as I hoped it would be.

Very dessert-y strawberry flavor on its own, super charged after adding a splash of vanilla creamer. I would probably make it stronger next time.

Its actually better than what I expected after the experience with adagio berry tea. Smells great but be careful to not oversteep it

Part of the October 2020 CommuniTEA box. A simple and sweet flavor - what a pleasant way to wake up!

This is a black tea with a hint of strawberry flavor which benefits from a lower brew temperature (195) to avoid bitterness and the addition of a bit of sweetener to bring out the fruit.

As if the excellent Ceylon tea was steeped in water with crushed strawberries. Both flavors boldly come through for a satisfying fruit tea experience. I drink the decaf version of this tea iced on summer evenings.

This has a really nice strawberry flavor. I added some vanilla milk and it tastes almost like strawberry licorice. I think it would be really great iced as well!

A surprisingly authentic flavor. It really reminded me of dried strawberries, especially the aftertaste. The scent reminds me of the smell of a kool aid packet, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I didn't use any additives, which would have probably really improved the drink. Overall I enjoyed this tea and would recommend to those who like fruit teas.

I was expecting a mouthful of flavoring, which... yes. But it’s one of the better strawberry flavors out there, and it’s not too much of a kick-you-in-the-face explosion either. However if you want a really good strawberry, go with their wild strawberry herbal tisane.
