★★★☆☆

This tea has a nice scent, but it seems too light on the strawberry flavor.

★★★★☆

I enjoyed this very much as an iced tea. I wouldn't choose to drink it warm.

★★★★★

strawberry flavor is noticeable, but not overpowering. Great overall tea.

★★★★☆

This is great for iced tea and goes really well with my favorite blueberry waffles.

★★★★★

This and the cherry tea were hits in our household this summer. We served both iced nearly every day. As an added bonus it kept our kids away away from sugary soft drinks -- they loved these teas as much as we did.

★★★☆☆

Powerful strawberry aroma to the tea that seems to dissapear upon brewing. Still makes a tasty cup though.

★★★☆☆

I Wasn't too impressed. I thought it would have a stronger strawberry taste

★★☆☆☆

Similer to the cherry tea in that it is rather hard to brew correctly & goes bitter very easily. I've used about 10 teabags already and have yet to get a cup that actually tastes like strawberries.

Just like with actualy strawberries, a little sugar really brings out the flavor with this one!

This tea is excellent. It tates wonderful both iced and hot.

Like almost all of Adagio's teas, their Strawberry black tea smells absolutely wonderful straight from the tin. When my latest order from Adagio arrived today, with eight new flavors I've not tried before, I had a hard time deciding which one to try. The one I probably anticipated the least was strawberry. I'm generally not a huge fan of berry-flavored teas - they generally taste either too tart and bitter or too sweet and artificial. But as I was opening the tins and dipping my nose into each one for the traditional sniff-sniff, I really, really loved the aroma of the strawberry tea. So, that was the first one on the brewing block.

It also gave me a chance to try out Adagio's tea filters. They're all paper, long and wide, so that you dip the tea in one end and let the long paper top folder over the cup while it brews. The packaging says this allows the tea much more room to circulate and steep, but for me at least, all the tea leaves bunches together at the bottom, forming a tight little knot that didn't seem any better-circulated than a regular teabag. Maybe there's a trick to it - time will tell.

The filter worked fine and left no discernable aftertaste, so I was happy. The only problem I had was the same problem I have with all filters of this ilk. The liquid wicks up to the top of it, so that despite the extra length, anyone who likes a strong brew - i.e. more than 2 minutes - will have to deal with a sopping wet strip of paper at the end of it. In theory, this is an intended 'feature' of the bag - you can tell when the steeping is done by seeing how far the liquid has wicked up through the paper. But that assumes every tea you use will require the same amount of steeping, and that's generally not the case.

Nevertheless, I'm a fan of these filters, if only because they look ideal for larger brews, i.e. iced tea by the half gallon. I could use probably two of these filled with loose tea to brew up a nice batch of iced green tea. Just skewer the top of each bag with a chopstick or similar long, pointy device and it should steep just fine without the bag being completely immersed in water. (That'll be my next experiment...)

Ah, right, Strawberry tea. How was it? Well, not bad. Again, like most Adagio teas, it smelled differently from how it tasted. In this case not so much a different flavor, but a different amount of flavor. While the aroma of the leaves was absolutely chock-full of a sweet, strawberry scent, the berry taste is really just the tiniest hint in the background, though it becomes a bit more noticeable in what I call the after-aroma. (Like an aftertaste, only you don't taste it, you smell it, after you've swallowed. If you don't know what I'm talking about, swallow a mouthful of flavored tea - or flavored anything - and immediately after, keep your mouth closed and exhale through your nose. The aroma you detect during that exhalation is what I unscientifically call the after-aroma. Does it have a real name? I'm sure it must... anyone?)

Those who like berry-flavored teas will probably love this blend. It neither overly tart nor overly sweet, though it does taste a tad bit artificial. For me, its probably not something I'd order again, though before I make that decision I'll probably try it as an iced tea. I think it might work a bit better in that arena. And although I don't generally sweeten my teas, a hint of sugar would probably draw out the flavor of the strawberries even more.

So, although I'm putting this in my 'Ambivalent' category, I think it would definitely be a crowd-pleaser among those who genuinely enjoy berry-flavored teas. I just don't happen to be a member of that crowd.

★★★★☆

Overall pretty good flavored tea. Tried it both hot and iced. Would order again but only in small quanitities.

★★★★☆

Not too overpowering in the berry flavor. Really enjoyable and crisp.

★★★★★

Strawberry is fantastic and probably one of my favorites. I discovered it in the black teas starter set. Also tastes great mixed with vanilla.

★★★★★

Nice tea for a sweet midafternoon. Good cold, too.

★★★★★

My favorite! This tea has a wonderful, real strawberry flavor. )Definitely NOT artificially flavored.) It has just the right amount of sweetness. I have not had good luck using this as an iced tea, but that may be because I'm not brewing right for iced. I'm sure someone who's a bigger fan if iced tea will have better luck.
I will buy it again and again and again...
By the way, I agree that drinking Adagio teas are like drinking Starbuck's after having Folger's for a long time. :)

★★★★☆

It was good. A good tea base, with a nice strawberry flavor.

★★★★☆

The strawberry tea is not as strong as I thought it would be, but that's a good thing. Unlike many of the strawberry-flavored herbal teas, it's not too sweet.

★★★★☆

A nice, soft flavored tea that I can see being good iced. A bit too soft for me, though.

★★★☆☆

pretty good. a little too weak on the strawberry, though

★★★★☆

This tea smells like big juicy strawberries - it's wonderful. It is a good flavored tea and I am excited to mix it with some of the other flavored teas (cream, vanilla, etc.).

★★★★☆

This is a little lighter than what I thought it would be but it's still very good.

★★★☆☆

Aroma excellent, but disappointed in the mildness of the strawberry flavor using 1 tsp per cup. Plenty of tea flavor but wanted more strawberry. Course my taste buds are always for the more intense flavors.

★★★★★

One of the best flavored black teas I've had to date, surpassed only by blueberry.

★★★★★

This tea is great served iced. I steep it 4 mins and it comes out perfect.. I found 5 mins to be a bit too powerful.

★★★★☆

I don't usually like flavored black teas, but this was was quite good!

★★★★☆

Good for after dinner. Needs a little bit of sugar added.

★★★★☆

I find the black teas a little bitter so I ended up using less tea than recommended to make this. I think the strawberry is stronger in scent than in taste but it was very good.

★★★★★

Good flavor, good taste, nice smell. It works best for me if I mix it with rooibos.

★★★★★

Delicious and fruity! Will definitely reorder this one.

★★★★★

I love this tea and it smells wonderful when steeping.

★★★★★

Love this one too. I am hooked on the fruit tea/s I make them hot and LOVE them as iced tea's .

★★★☆☆

Most of the flavors I've tried from Adagio don't thrill me, and this one didn't really either. It doesn't really scream 'strawberry'.

★★★☆☆

The strawberry was OK. It smelled good when it was steeping, but I was a little dissapointed by the flavor.

★★★★★

This is one of my children's favorite teas! Great hot or iced with sugar or honey.

★★★★★

Loved this tea...good flavor, great hot or iced!!!

★★★★★

Super fruity. My wife loved it as an iced tea. No sweetener needed.

★★★★★

Yummy and juicy. This is definately on my reorder list.

★★★★☆

Nice fragrance. Enjoyable hot. Ok as iced tea if some real fruit is added also.

★★★★★

I love this tea. I haven't found very many of the flavoured teas to suit my fancy, but this is very good.

★★★★★

Not quite as strong a strawberry flavor as I had expected, but still great.

★★★★☆

The strawberry taste is very subtle. I prefer drinking this tea cold.

★★★★★

Yummy tea. Smells really delicious, and tastes good too.

★★★☆☆

I'm gonna try mixing this with the cream tea when I get it. This really didn't stand out to me, though.

★★★★★

I love this tea. It has strong strawberry flavor and serves perfectly as iced tea. Love it so much that I even re-order it as gifts for my overseas friends.

★★★★☆

I love to make iced tea with this one, it has a nice fruit flavor and did not taste like cough syrup like some other ones ive bought elsewhere.

★★★★☆

Strawberries are my favorite fruit. This tea doesn't come with a strong strawberry flavor. Get the mango black tea if you are looking for more fruit flavor. This is still a good option.

★★★★★

Oh my gosh...what can I say. This is my favorite tea for iced tea. The strawberry flavor is not overpowering. This has got to be the best iced tea I have ever tried.

★★★★☆

This tea has a really good balance of strawberry and tea flavors.

★★★☆☆

Not as strawberry as I expected, but it's ok. I mix this with the roibos peach sometimes.
