Such a great tea in the fall! The spices are delicious.

Just the right amount of spice mixed with the full flavor of pumpkin makes this an enjoyable tea to drink during the cool fall days and nights

★★★★★

A tasty black tea enhanced by the same combination of spices that makes pumpkin pie so perfect. I recommend this one for a little low calorie alternative, full of holiday cheer.

I purchased this blend for Halloween and the pumpkin chai tastes didn’t disappoint. Great start to cooler fall days.

I don't like pumpkin, but I picked up a sample because a question answered stated that no actual pumpkin is in this, but I do LOVE chai tea and I was curious as to how close would this be to a chai tea, since both share a lot of the same spices. If I can ignore the word, "pumpkin," it is a very nice spiced tea, and I think is improved with a touch of milk in it, which helps mellow out some of the actual black tea flavor. To answer my own question, as of right now I'm not sure exactly how this varies from a typical chai tea, and I think only varies from Oriental spice because the later has orange peels. So, "pumpkin " spiced tea is one that I will finish off, but I'm on the fence if I will buy a full size bag since it is similar to other teas I really do like, at least, in part due to the name containing "pumpkin," even though I know that it doesn't actually have any pumpkin in it. I may update this later, after comparison taste testing between this, some chai teas, and other spiced teas.

Recommend you order a sample before you commit to anything else. I found the blend off for what I wanted. The pumpkin spice chai is much better.

Delicious with just a tiny bit of honey to sweeten it, never fails to warm me up on a cool day and let my soul relax.

I love this tea. It’s amazing as a latte. Fantastic with a bit of honey and sweet cream or even some pumpkin spice creamer. Highly recommend. This has earned itself a permanent place in my tea cabinet all year round.

Exceptionally flavorful, and the flavor is indeed pumpkin spice! I don't usually do second brewings, but this tea makes them worth it.

This tea is very heavy on the spice, but lacks any sort of pumpkin or pumpkin spice flavoring. It just tastes like... spices?

I was looking forward to trying this out. I wasn't sure what to expect with this. It smells amazing and tastes like the holidays.

I love this tea - it is perfect for Fall!!! Spice teas are always the best, but this one is really good.

★★★★★

I've tried a few different pumpkin teas this fall, and this one if right at the top! I have especially enjoyed it with the pumpkin spice honey from the bees site!

If you like pumpkin spice but want to avoid coffee, here it is in tea form! It's warm and spicy and just a touch sweet.

Not bad but it can't compete with most of the chais offered at Adagio. Would like to have more pumpkin flavor added, it's a bit too subtle.

★★★★★

Delicious! All the flavor of pumpkin pie in a cup, without the extra sweetness. Ideal for a crisp fall morning.

Best way to get a PSL with just a tea bag, hot water, and a little vanilla almond milk. No coffee jitters or sugary syrup required.

How can anybody resist pumpkin spice this time of year. It is the pumpkin season and this is beautiful as a latte or on its own. Indulge and get yourself this yummy blend to celebrate Halloween in style.

★★★★☆

This is a very nice blend of fall flavors in a solid black tea. I like mine with just a touch of sugar to round things out a bit, but it doesn't need to be super sweet. I'm sure milk would be good in it, but I'm not usually a fan. The 'spice' isn't too overpowering of the black tea, but you know it's there.

Love, love this tea! My new fall favorite! I can taste the pumpkin and the spices are delicious, not overwhelming. I will definitely buy again!

Heavier on the spice than the pumpkin, this tea has been a good one for lounging around in my sweater with the a/c cranked up to pretend like it's already fall

★★★★★

Pumpkin spice has a light, not overly spiced flavor and is such a nice blend during the Fall and Winter.

This tea is excellent, it really picks up on the cinnamon, cloves and the pumpkin spice flavoring. I think it’s one of my favorites so far.

Delightfully yummy! It doesn’t need it, but I add sugar and cream to make it taste like a better version of what Starbucks can do.

Tis the season for fall spice and everything pumpkin (pie) spice. Great cold as well. Add cream to really rival that celestial chain of overpriced drinks.

★★★★☆

Nice chai tea. It's more of a pumpkin spice tea without pumpkin flavor.

Very pleasant, although a bit mild. For a 'spicier' Pumpkin Spice, the Honeybush Pumpkin Chai is superior.

Well, it smelled lovely but I've never tried any pumpkin spice blends before because I don't like pumpkin pie. I've been informed that I don't have to like pumpkin pie to like pumpkin spice... I think those people lied. So this may be a nice pumpkin spice blend or it may not be but you're not going to prove it by me

This pumpkin spice tea is a treat, especially in fall and winter months! It has a lovely spice flavor that is supported well by the black tea base.

'tastes like the inside of a michael's' - our sister

i have no idea how long i steeped it for, i aimed for 3 minutes but probably did 4-5. A splash of vanilla almond milk and a scoop of brown sugar, and it tasted pretty pumpkin spice-ey to me, im just. not a pumpkin spice person lol -Lynn

I might’ve had too high of expectations for this tea. I love pumpkin spice, but I don’t feel like the tea had any pumpkin flavor.

I appreciated that this wasn't a chai blend—plenty of those to choose from—and that the cardamon didn't overwhelm the other spices. I'm enjoying this cozy spice blend, but wish it had stronger black tea taste—to me, the black tea is more a vehicle for the spices than a blend. But I'm very happy that black tea is the base and not rooibus or honeybush. That would be make this too sweet. 212 for 3 min.

A bit disappointing if you are looking for pumpkin, as there is no pumpkin in this tea. Maybe, instead, it should be called 'Pumpkin Pie Spice'. This is
a straightforward black tea with all the spice flavors your taste buds would associate with pumpkin pie, minus the pumpkin! There are better spiced black teas to be had; and they are called CHAI!

Not surprisingly, this flavored black tea is very reminiscent of a chai blend but with less bite from the spices. Here, the same spices one would find in a cup of masala chai are muted, so if traditional chais are too strong for you, this might be a good option. That said, the addition of 'natural pumpkin spice flavor' gives this tea a twinge that tastes a bit off to my tastebuds. Whether it's the pumpkin aspect of that flavoring or just the addition of a flavor as compared pure spices in a chai blend is unclear. The addition of milk helps check this off taste, and of course, like a good pumpkin spice latte, this tea is best sweetened. (~4 minutes @ 212F)

Though I usually don't sweeten or add milk/creamer to my teas, I made the executive decision today to add some of both even though I hadn't tasted it black yet. It was the right decision--this tea is delightful with some sweetness and creaminess to bring out the spices and the pumpkin flavor. It smells like fall and tastes the same, and I would definitely order it again!

Disclaimer: I picked out the cloves.
The smell of cloves hit me from the open packet. I picked out three cloves before brewing. The aroma became a faint spice and the flavor was mild spice, no astringency. Added milk and sugar and it improved. Not for me with the cloves.

I love a good spiced tea. This is pretty much a chai in different packaging - not surprising, pumpkin spice is comprised of most of the same spices, so without any sugary coffee-chain syrups, there isn't much to distinguish it from a chai. That said, I still enjoy it. Steeped 3 min @ 200º.

The Ceylon tea provides the perfect background flavor to the spices. This is very similar to a chai, without the heat from the peppercorns. Delicious!

'Packet smells very strong of ginger and cloves, but spices are nicely balanced when drinking it. Quite astringent. It was fine, nice with a little bit of milk and sugar. Has a nice fall spice flavor. UPDATE 2023.09: Tasting for a second time I've decided I definitely prefer this with a splash of milk and sugar. No taste of pumpkin anywhere and I don'tthink it's claiming to taste of pumpkin, just the 'pumpkin spices' (3 min @ 200)'

This tea smells and tastes amazing! The new version adds more spice, but not too much! The spice compliments the black tea perfectly. The aroma is wonderful and the taste is even better!
9/21/2023 - I really enjoy this tea!! I have been working to DDTS this tea for weeks (I had a 3 oz bag, a tin of tea bags, and the smaller holiday tin of this tea...had to drink it!) and I still love it! I never get tired of the flavor of black tea mixing with pumpkin pie spices. Yummy!! Once my current stash of this tea is all sipped, I'm going to restock! Can't go without my pumpkin spice tea -- all year around!

8 oz, 3 mins @ 195* F, with sweetener and Pumpkin Spice cream

This tasted just like pumpkin in a can with some pumpkin pie spice. I find most Adagio's flavored black teas don't taste like what they're aimin' for (at least to my tongue), but this one is spot on as advertised. Thankfully, I like pumpkin. I am beginning to enjoy spice. This combo isn't too heavy on the spice at all and it very deliciously screams Autumn!
