(September CommuniTEA box)
I found this tea quite enjoyable even though I don't really like peach flavored black teas.
Bright Ceylon tea flavored with lush peaches. Delightful nectar aroma, lingering floral flavor and "peach fuzz" dry.

I found this tea quite enjoyable even though I don't really like peach flavored black teas.
The peach flavor tastes natural, the black tea doesn’t fight too much against it. Would go really well in a tropical blend.
With some of these communiTEA packets, I read the labels first. Today I just opened and sniffed. I expected to find an apple themed flavor. Then I read and found apple was the last ingredient. Once brewed, I got more of the peach. In fact I only got the occasional hint of apple as I drank iit.
Peach and black tea is such a solid combination, and this is no exception. This reminds me of a much less sweet peach Snapple, back when they still used glass bottles. It’s nice enough warm but it really shines as an iced tea with a bit of sugar. There’s nothing ultra complex about this, and there doesn’t need to be. If you like peaches and strong black tea, this is for you! 3mins at 200°F
Though a pleasant enough tea I feel Adagio's other peach tea offerings are better and have more peach flavor. Especially the white peach tea.
How have I not reviewed this tea already? I must have bought it previously as part of a set or with the better tea club subscription. I do wish the peach flavor were a little stronger. For that reason, I prefer Adagio’s peach oolong to this tea.
Such a good flavor. It's great hot or iced, sweetened or not, mixed with other teas or on its own. Mixed with peach oolong and cold brewed it tastes like Peach Snapple.
There's definitely more peachy teas out there. The scent is vibrant, although slightly artificial. The taste is there, but very mild. A nice, smooth drink, but not one that I'd go out of my way to get again.
Nice solid black tea. Not overwhelmingly peach but there was a hint of peach to it. Nice tea but I won’t be purchasing.
Love this tea! It's not super fruity, I enjoyed it hot with a little bit of honey & cream!
Peach oolong is better, and so is decaf peach, but this is reasonably peachy. Not as well balanced and more astringent than the other two peach teas.
You like tea? You like peaches? You’ll probably like this tea. I find it not sweet, and honestly a little bland, but tasty. Peach tea, as advertised.
Sometimes one just has to admit to a BIAS - and i have a bias PRO-peach flavor ... pro-apricot too for that matter. Wholly enjoyable. One can enhance by addition of snips of dried peaches- Santa gave me a food dehydrator and i use to make lovely tea additives.
The aroma is gorgeous but the actual flavor is very lackluster. Not much if any fruity peach notes to be found.
After reading the other reviews for today's communiTEA packet, I chose to shorten my typical black-tea brewing time and pulled the basket from the cup at *precisely* 2 minutes. The resulting steep lives up to the promise made by the scent in the packet, and delivers a good balance between the dry Ceylon tea and the fruity-aromatic peach flavor. This tea requires heavy sweetening in order to fully develop the peach note in the cup, but I routinely use 3 drops in my dessert teas and 4 in my coffee, so it's not out of the realm of my usual dose. Still - I much prefer the peach oolong to this variety, as it requires no sweetener at all when iced and minimal when hot in order to replicate the sensation of biting into a ripe piece of fruit. (2 mins @ 200 F, 3 drops EZ-Sweetz)
First, the peach smell when you open the packet is amazing. Unfortunately, you don't taste it that much in the tea. Don't get me wrong, it's present. I can definitely tell that I'm drinking a peach tea. The black part is a little bitter, but wait for it to cool down a little and add a little sweetener and it mellows out fine. I would definitely drink this again. I should probably add that I really like peach teas, so it's not hard to please me.
Delicious. Very strong peach flavor. Great with a bit of sugar.
I love when we get a black tea with a fruit flavor in the Communitea box. This tea has a lot of peach flavor. I drank it hot with a little sugar.
The smell was amazing. I've tried this before and it's always a winner for me. I would def buy more.
A lovely cup of tea. I adore the various peach tea options that Adagio has and this is a solid and comforting black tea. The peach flavors mellow out the astringency of the ceylon. Definitely one I can enjoy hot or iced.
Smelled great in the bag...very peachy but the taste was not comparable to the smell. I got more of the black tea taste than peaches...but it was still a good tea.
This tea smells really good, but the peach is hard to taste. It was also a little bitter. Just an ok cup for me.
The peach was pretty weak, but at least the black tea base was good, so I can't fault it for that. I should have brewed at a lower temperature.
One of my favorite teas. I add a pinch of honey to bring out the sweetness. I do think this should be brewed at a slightly lower temperature. Great morning tea since the caffeine level is so high.
Since I enjoy a good black tea, this peach version didn't disappoint. The peach was subtle and complimented the fruit aroma.
I read the other reviews and brewed at a lower temperature. Nice peach flavor and no bitterness. Very pleasant cup.
I took the advice of some fellow CommuniTea members and brewed this at a slightly lower temp. It was lovely! No bitterness and the peach really came through.
Part of the September 2020 CommuniTEA box. A wonderful and simple tea, very cozy and nostalgic.
Found this tea to be underwhelming - the peach flavor was lost in the black tea.
There is a faint peach flavor for a moment, but then the black tea has a bitter flavor that overpowers the peach, and lingers and dries out my palate.
I prefer the peach oolong to this for my stone fruit fix.
My favorite Peach from Adagio. Excellent natural taste, perfect cold brewed overnight.
I was presented with moderate peach and marigold aromas upon opening the packet. When hot, mild peach and marigold flavors and aromas were noted. The Ceylon black tea was mildly astringent providing dark chocolate and spicy flavors in the background. When warm, strong black tea astringency moved to the front with others playing second fiddle in the background making this an un-drinkable brew. This first steep was done for 3 mins @ 200ºF, 1/4 tsp sugar. A second steep was done for 2 mins @ 200ºF, 1/4 tsp sugar and provided a very drinkable sip. Bottom line, if you brew this caffeinated version properly you will get pleasant results just like the non-caffeinated version where all players played nice.
Decent peach tea. Good flavor and good taste. Nothing special tho
I wish I had read the reviews first and tried brewing this at a lower temperature, but having followed the given instructions, this is not a good flavor. At all.
I wish I would have read other reviews before steeping. It was bitter and not much peach flavor came out. It needs to be steeped at lower temps.
A nice black tea with a hint of peaches. I used 2 cups of water and brewed for 3 minutes. Just right.
This one was pretty good. I think I may have over brewed it a little as I like my blacks to steep for 4 minutes. At that length of time I got a weird after taste. Not terrible or unpleasant just odd to my taste buds. Bet this would make a lovely sun tea.
The peach is very lovely in this tea. I feel like it needs to be brewed at a lower temperature, as at 212 it was slightly bitter. However, a dab of honey helped to counteract that. Overall, very delicious
A nice basic flavored tea. Its nice for beginners to black tea
I've bought this tea several times and it is great. It will be bitter if brewed too long, so I've found around 3 minutes is good. Good peach flavor!
Very rich flavor of tea with the right amount of real peach.
A real pleasure for peach lovers! It is nice to have an option for peach with black tea.
Excellent black tea, I like it with goat milk
I actually bought this for a friend who loves peach tea and she says it is wonderful! It has just the right amount of peachiness.
Great combintion of black tea and peach flavor. It is good either hot or cold. Been one of my go to teas this summer. I love the smell, when ou open the bag.
Light peach flavor in a black tea. Recommend if you enjoy fruit flavors.
So so so good! Strong peach flavor. Added a little sweetener and it’s even better!
This is the best peach flavored tea I've found. It is our family's favorite, especially in the summer brewed and served iced. The aroma is intoxicating!
LOVE this tea! I used it to make sun tea, and it is a perfectly refreshing drink over ice on a hot summer day!
I mean...it's peach black tea. It's a match made in heaven.
