This tea smells fruity, and at first taste it is - but it's also got a very floral sort of taste. It's good with honey (orange blossom is my preference), which kind of rounds out the flavors a bit. I enjoyed it, but it's very likely I'll use it in blends more than I will drink it solo.
Well, when i opened up my package it smelled like fermented fruit, almost like a wine smell. I thought nothing of it and tried making it. And first as a hot tea it was disgusting, and then as an iced tea it was a little better but not by much.
Delicious light flavor! It was wonderful hot or cold.
This blend is unique and interesting. I over-steeped it my first time trying it and it's probably not something I'd drink by itself, but it would probably go well in a fruity blend, adding some zest. I like it, even if it's not a new favorite.

As with many of the Adagio teas, the flavor is a good subtle flavor perhaps best paired with a green or white tea. Paired with a black tea however the flavor is mostly lost. A hint remains and I realize the balance can be tricky. But left with the black tea, the flavor needs to be turned up just a little.
I found the smell of the leaves strong but very pleasant. Brewed hot I thought it was actually very sweet (without sweetener) for a black tea and I quite enjoyed it, although I can't say that the passion fruit aspect of it stands out at all. It does have a very fruity flavor to it though. All in all it was good and I'd buy it again.
This tea has a very pleasant aroma, matched only by its excellent taste. It is unique and stands apart from other fruit flavored teas.

I love this tea. Since it's fruit flavored, it tends to be a bit light on flavor. My solution...let it brew a little longer. Then it's very good!
I honestly had a hard time getting over the smell of this tea but in the end it was a little better than I expected.
At first it tasted a bit odd, almost bitter, but then I brewed it a bit cooler and it tasted wonderful!

This is a fine tea. However, it doesn't taste like passionfruit _at_all_. It's just a black tea, with some slight fruit flavor. I love passionfruit, but there's just no passionfruit here.

this is a pleasant fruity tea -- has a light flavor. I won't say that it tastes exactly like passionfruit -- I actually taste apples -- but it still tastes quite nice.

I had it iced. Found some variability from cup to cup. at its best, it has a mellow fruitiness that balances nicely with the strong flavor of black tea. Other times the fruitiness was overpowered. Overall, it's one of the better black teas I've tried. Be careful not to overbrew.

Took me about half a cup for this tea to grow on me. It smelled almost like peaches in the bag, and there's a tiny bit of peach taste in the brewing, but not overwhelmingly so. There's more of a full-bodied fruity taste (I've never had passionfruit so not sure if that's what it tastes like, but I'd assume so) that rounds it out, almost like a light perfume. Might try this iced. definitely going to try it in a blend.
The passionfruit is a good choice for the winter when you are craving something summery!
If you like black tea and fruity flavors, this is sure one to try. It had the perfect sweetness from the passion fruit. I was hesitant to purchase this flavor, having tried passion fruit in the past and not enjoying it. But after trying making myself a pot of tea, I have to say it's one of my favorites.
This tea was pretty good it just kind of seemed like the passion fruit flavor was more of an afterthought. It was definitely there but more present as an aftertaste than anything else.

Its not bad but not very strong mixed as per directions. I will probably try to mix it a little stronger and try it again. It does have a good light flavor. Mixed it stronger still not great. Would not buy again.
As a passionfruit fan, I did not think it had enough flavor. The passionfruit seemed to be overpowered by the black tea flavor. The smell was also a little off for me, not at all what I expected.
Black teas are strong but this passionfruit make up for the strong taste. Perfect for an afternoon pick me upper.
A very good tea, definitely worth trying. Don't steep this tea too long, it gets tart very quickly.
Smells lightly of fruit in the bag. When brewed maybe I did't get any fruit pieces in my brew since I didn't really taste anything other than black tea with just slight fruitiness?

Not my cup of tea, really. Kind of had a soapy flavor to it. Which isn't because of my teaware. plenty of other teas taste fine.

I knew I wouldn't like this tea as much because it has apple as a listed ingredient. It is a nice sweet tasting, passion fruit smelling tea but it isn't citrus leaning.
