I ended up really enjoying this one. It's just perfect for the mornings. Even though I don't drink coffee it reminds me of the brews I smell In the mornings being consumed by friends. The second and third brewings are best. Update: This tea has become another favorite of mine and I have since bought a larger bag. Since I don't drink coffee I tend to brew this for myself to wake up. I find it blends excellently with coconut when you want to mix things up

★★★★☆

This one is just alright for me. Definitely very hazelnutty, exactly as described, just not my personal cup of tea. However, my dad and brother love this tea. Unlike me, they are coffee drinkers, and having this tea to them was like having a delicious alternative to hazelnut coffee when you wanted all the flavor and experience without as much caffeine, or the clean up required in brewing a pot of coffee.

★★★★★

The perfect hazelnut tea! Mixed with milk and sugar it is the perfect evening treat!

★★☆☆☆

I was going to buy 16oz of this since I love hazelnut but didn't want to risk it since I had never tried it in a tea. I ended up choosing it as my free sample with my order instead... Well thank god I didn't buy it. It smells great but doesn't taste the way it smells. It tastes like dirty water with artificial hazelnut. I'm going to give it a second try with some sugar and milk and if it tastes better I'll update my review. I really want to like it since as I said before, I love hazelnut.

Wow! I don't know what I was expecting by I definitely wasn't expecting such a rich and deep hazelnut flavor! This is a favorite. As other reviewers have said, it tastes a lot like hazelnut flavored coffee but the tea really brings out that lovely nutty flavor!

★★★☆☆

In my experience with this tea, the smell was very overwhelming, but there was little to no hazelnut taste.

★★★★★

I just love hazelnut so much. Hazelnut coffee is good, but hazelnut tea is heavenly! The flavor is smooth and easy to brew. This is my all-time favorite black tea!

I'm a big fan of hazelnut coffee, so I thought I'd try hazelnut tea. It was definitely good, but not anything spectacular or life changing. I actually found that it was quite similar to the chestnut tea. Definitely has a nice, nutty, caramel-y taste. I think I prefer the chestnut though, as it has just a bit more of a distinctive flavor to it. This would be good in a pinch, though, if the chestnut were unavailable.

I got this as a free sample, not expecting much but now it's one of my new favorites that I will definitely be getting regularly. I always liked hazelnut coffee but didn't think it would translate well to tea. I couldn't be more wrong.

★★★★★

This is like... candy tea. I sat there in disbelief after my first few sips, muttering, 'this can't be tea' over and over again until I was told to shut up and just drink it. It's very good, I shall order more, and probably mutter again.

★★★★★

From the minute I opened the package, I knew this tea was going to become one of my favorites! True, like most flavored teas, the aroma is much stronger than the taste, but there is a definite hazelnut flavor here. I will order this one again!

★★★★★

Very warm and comforting cup. Smells like a true hazelnut, not an artificial flavoring.

★★★★☆

This is tasty! It smelled delicious in the bag. Not as nutty as hazelnuts, but this had the warm, comforting smell of them. To be completely honest, I didn't like this plain. I added a dash of honey, still didn't love it... but! I added a splash of milk and voila! A wonderful wholesome tea more satisfying than a cup of hazelnut joe. I think this definitely needs the milk, and maybe a sweetener if that's your thing

This is a good flavor and I do like it very much but again not my favorite.

★★★★☆

Very good flavor! It reminds me the smell of Nutella.

I love this tea. I keep ordering it over and over again. It smells exactly like hazelnut and it has a nice light flavor like one as well.

★★★★★

Absolutely loved this tea! Highly recommended! Awesome price too...

I liked getting this as a sample but I prefer the honeybush version.

★★★★★

It has a very strong nutty taste to it, more so than I was expecting based on some other nut flavored teas that I've tried. The hazelnut flavor works very well with the black tea, and they blend together to create a smooth taste. It works well as an alternative to coffee in the mornings.

★★★☆☆

Flavor was OK... it just tasted a bit like watery coffee.

★★★★★

A wonderfully rich, full flavored tea. Smooth, creamy, and mildly sweet hazelnut flavor. Great on its own, but absolutely amazing with a splash of cream and sugar.

★★★★★

I loved this tea. It is unmistakably hazelnut. Warm, sweet, nutty and delicious.

I like this one a lot. It is nutty and unusual. It can satisfy a candy craving.

★★★★☆

I'm not a fan of black tea in general, but the hazelnut flavor blended well with the tea.

Nice hearty flavor. There's so many teas to try and not enough time in the day!

★★★★☆

I knew that this was going to be amazing to me or horrible, and for me it was the latter. Let me start by saying that I only like hazelnuts covered in lots of chocolate so the fact that the tea had a moderate taste of hazelnuts was the problem. I think if you like hazelnuts, it would be a great tea

This tea is used in another fandom tea I really enjoy although I didn't realize it until I took in the aroma as it was brewing. It has a pleasant hazelnut taste and goes down very smoothly. I can't drink it slow, it is THAT great!

Enjoy this, but need more tea than average to get a stronger taste. Use about 2 tsp per 10oz cup

It's flavorful, straightforward, and suited for mornings like squirrels are for trees. In short, all you want in a hazelnut black tea.

nice flavor I steeped at 212 degrees F for 3 minutes

Great Hazelnut flavor!

What a great way to warm up in the winter. What a great bold hazelnut flavor.

★★★★★

Excellent flavor tea! If you like nutty flavor, this is the tea for you. highly recommend.

★★★★☆

Good hazelnut flavor without being overwhelming. Good tea.

★★★★★

I love this tea. Perfect for cold mornings. I usually have it with cream and sugar. Yum!

★★★★★

Hazelnuts are my favorite nut. I was really pleased to find a hazelnut flavored tea. nice rich nut flavor.

★★★★★

Amazing, obscene, warm, totally loved it! Great black tea for the ones who love instense, sweet things with a hint of dark!

I thought I liked Hazelnut until I tried this. I couldn't finish a cup let alone the whole pot. I didn't taste much tea... just the hazelnut. Passed it on to a friend.

★★★★★

This goes great as an add on and by itself. Very aromatic and warm.

★★★★★

Hmmmmm, while my heart belongs to chestnut, this hazelnut is wonderful too! Nutty and sweet, a wonderful after-dinner treat.

★★★★★

I love this tea! I always drink it sweetened and milk. It is so smooth and delicious.

★★★★★

This is one of my go-to Adagio teas, and I go through a lot! It's got a lovely, almost creamy hazelnut flavor that is enhanced by a splash of milk, but by no means requires it. There is absolutely no thick or tanin-y aftertaste, it takes steeping abuses, and is as good cold as it is hot. A near-perfect tea!

★★★★★

I love to mix with chocolate chip. It's fantastic. Totally recommend.

★★★☆☆

I gave this flavor as a gift, so didn't actually try it. It's hard to give a review in this case. If you like hazelnut flavor, I'm sure you would love this tea.

★★☆☆☆

I was expecting a genuine hazelnut flavor. Instead I felt that it was overly sweet, and oily with had an alcohol (not beverage, but more like what is in imitation flavorings) bite to it. I won't be ordering it again.

I need to work on my brewing to get this less sharp at the end of each sip, but it is mighty tasty even so! The smell is strong but not overly so in my opinion. I think I will add a bit of milk next time to see how I like that.

★★★★☆

Love the hazelnut aroma Tea is very mellow tasting

★★★★☆

This tea is really good! It's similar to the chestnut tea, though less inherently sweet. Combining the two is also great.

★★★☆☆

Hmm. It smells a lot like hazelnut creamer. It tastes a lot like hazelnut creamer. For the people who are looking for a coffee substitute, this might fit the bill (especially mixed with something a little more robust). I can't say that I'm wild about it though.

★★★★☆

Another winner for Adagio flavored black tea! Smells and tastes so good.

★★★☆☆

Not super excited about this one. I'm having trouble getting past the strong, sort-of-artificial scent. I don't drink a lot of flavored teas in general, so maybe it's just me. I think it still has potential for blending. (I used to love a certain hazelnut blend from a different store and was hoping to recreate it.)
