This tea isn't tart or juicy; it's a solid black tea with the impression of fruit, like in flavored water. That worked for me, and I liked it, but I imagine someone looking for a strong pop of fruit flavor might be underwhelmed.
Brisk Ceylon tea and savory summer berries create a cup with a comforting, sweet earthy aroma, deeply fruity flavor.

I enjoyed today's tea. I had small remnants of berries in my bag. However the flavor was definitely there.
I loved this tea. I added some hot milk and it tasted like strawberry milkshake.
I was hoping for more fruit and less bitter black tea flavor. The black tea for sure overpowers the natural fruit flavors, but they are there, slightly.
I accidentally oversteeped this one, but luckily this is a tea where the berry flavor also gets stronger if you oversteep it. I’m only having a small cup tonight, but I think the leftover cup will be very nice on ice tomorrow.
I was not impressed with this tea. It smells kind of cough syrupy. It tasted funny brewed black. Adding half & half muted the weird berry taste and made it drinkable, but not enjoyable.
The aroma of the leaves was gorgeous, but the actual tea was not great. Tasted bitter and like artificial cough syrup. Might be better iced or steeped for a shorter time than directed.
A very nice blend! The fruit comes through nice but not so much that I feel like it is a fruit based blend, more like just enough to complement the black tea
Nice balance of black tea and berry flavor. Not bitter. Nice brew for a winter's day. I'll be putting this one my list to purchase.
This one is hard to review. My particular individual packet had nothing but the black tea visible. I also did not taste anything but the black tea. It is a decent black tea, just kind of disappointed that I didn’t get anything else from it.
Black teas as a whole tend to be a little strong for my taste, and the strong tea flavor tends to overpower any additional flavors. This was still a nice tea though, and the berry smell was lovely!
Wow! What a beautiful, fruity nose on opening the tea package to find zero nose on the brew, zero fruit on the palate
I really enjoyed this tea. The balance balance between berries and tea was quite nice and I can definitely drink this tea again.
I really like this tea. I followed other Communitea drinkers recommendation to only steep for two minutes and it turned out berry, I mean, very good. I added a half teaspoon of honey to round out the berry flavor.
I was slightly disappointed in this one after smelling how deliciously sweet and fruity it was in the pouch. To be fair, I may have very slightly overbrewed it (closer to 4 mins). To me it was slightly bitter and surprisingly lacked sweetness. Perhaps this is just a blend that needs less brewing time to keep the balance between black tea and berries.
I accidentally over brewed and made it bitter but I could taste the berries because of it.
This tea is ok. I’d probably wouldn’t buy it but would be glad enough to drink it is someone served it to me.
The first taste was very chemically. It’s a little better over ice, but that first sip was awful.
Part of the September 2020 CommuniTEA box. The berries mix nicely with the Ceylon - is like to try this as an iced tea.
This tea taste like candy. It is the perfect balance of tea and fruit. I am always hesitant to try the fruity ones because they often taste like hot cider. Howeverthis one is a nice fruit flavor, kind of taste like the hard strawberry candies I got from my grandmother but not too sweet are tart.
If you like a good black tea with just a hint of berries, this is the tea for you. A teaspoon of honey smoothed out the flavor of the mixed berries.
This was a miss for me... unfortunately not a flavor I would pick, and the tea was rather dull.
I’m a sucker for fruity teas! The berry flavor was just right for my tastebuds!
Rich color, tantalizing smell, and taste was lovely and this is another great five hearts tea💗💗💗💗💗. Could drink it all day. Thanks
This tea smells super fruity, but the taste doesn't overpower that of the tea itself
I liked the berry flavor that was in the forefront upon tasting, but there was a weird aftertaste that I can't quite describe that soured me on this one.
I just don't like this one. It's not terrible, but I really don't like it. I haven't liked it in blends, either. Sweetened it tastes like cough syrup, and even unsweetened it's pretty reminiscent of cough syrup. I think the ingredient that really betrays this one is the raspberry leaf. I'll stick with the herbal blends when I want a berry flavor.
Smell of berries is stronger than the taste. Forrest berries should be blackberry and raspberry with being or strawberry, this was just muddled.
Very strong chemical-berry smell, very light berry flavor. If I'm drinking a flavored tea, I prefer a strong flavor, so this one wasn't for me.
I've had this tea as part of fan blends before that I liked a lot, so I'm unpleasantly surprised to find that I don't like it nearly as much by itself. The smell in the packet is wonderful, but it translates into an odd shampoo taste in the cup, like I'm drinking the scent of Herbal Essences or some sort of Bath & Body Works thing. Is there a forest berries tea made with white tea or green rooibos?
I didn't get much of the berry flavor in this one; I like some of Adagio's other berry-based teas better. I steeped for 2.5 min and didn't get any bitterness.
Not that it’s a bad tea, as I’m sure many will like it, it wasn’t one of my favorites though.
Tastes like cherry medicine. The smell is good but the taste is not for me. I brewed it got. I suspect it might taste better iced.
This tea is...ok. The fruit flavor does seem a little medicinal if it’s even slightly overstepped, and the flavor of you understeep is meh. I feel like this would blend nicely with other teas. Maybe add some citrus?
This was a nice tea. It is not overly fruity, which I prefer. It does smell a bit like cough syrup though.
I liked this tea! I can see where others thought it was too fruity -- but I didn't mind it. I enjoyed it hot, but I bet it would be even better iced!
This was really nice with my breakfast this morning. Not too complex, but a fruity little pick me up. I expected it to taste like cough syrup when I first smelled it, but it didn't while drinking. A bit of that in the aftertaste, though.
It's a little more bitter than I found I could tolerate when left steeping for the suggested time. Taking it out early would probably be good to note, if you want something with a little less edge on it. Otherwise, I can't quite complain. There's a good bit of spice to it that helps differentiate it from standard black tea, but aside from that, most of the difference comes from the smell, and not as much the taste
It’s too bitter. I only steeped for 3mins but it’s so awfully bitter
The berries in this tea have an earthy flavor as opposed to a juicy berry flavor. It mixes well with the more robust black tea. The suggested brew time on this tea is 3 minutes, but I found that brought out a harsh, bitter flavor to the berries. Two minutes brews a perfect cup of this tea.
I'm not getting a lot of berry flavor from this, but it's decent.
Better in a blend than on its own. It's an overall lackluster taste with a deceptively good smell.t
The aroma of this tea is glorious but this tea tastes bland at best, cough-syrupy at worst... It's a really nice addition to signature blends but it's not very pleasant on its own...
Nice black tea with subtle berry flavor. Not something I will buy but still good.
The only thing I saw in the packet was black tea and green raspberry leaves. Not a single fruit piece was noted! However, I did note some fruity aromas. I didn’t see any fruit pieces in the steeped tea either. I continued with the review anyway. When hot, all I tasted were some mild fruit and tea flavors. A slight tartness was noted. I suspect this was from the flavoring. So a added a bit of sugar. When warm, a moderate artificial tasting strawberry flavor was noted. Black tea tastes were very pleasing. All of this carried on until finish. I’m not sure this was a fair review, as I didn’t get any real fruit in my packet. Others may have “lucked out” tho! (3 mins @ 200ºF, 1/4 tsp sugar)
I'm a fan of black tea and berries. I used to buy a 'brand name' raspberry tea to add to an ordinary black tea for rich flavor; this blend gives that nice berry vibe.
The was okay...very fruity but this one is a miss. The nondescript berry flavor tasted like cough syrup to me...really unpleasant.
It’s SO easy to oversteep this one. Next brew I’m going to try it for 1 or 2 minutes instead of exactly 3 like the package said. There is a pleasant tartness, and I can’t pinpoint the exact berries. Blackberry or elderberry or Marion, more so than say raspberry or strawberry.
I tried it over ice and that helped some with the flavor from the too-strong taste. It was good cold, and would probably be really good cold-brewed in the fridge overnight.
Absolutely delightful! Previously, I ordered the 'Badgers Blend' tea and I was interested in the ingredients individually, so here I am! 10/10 Love it!
Umm, this flavor to me was super delicious with a strong mixed berry taste reminiscent of a homemade jam. I have had this as a tea latte for the last three days with cream and sugar. However without cream and sugar it is a standalone tea, flavorful and perfectly scented if you don't oversteep or use too much leaf.
