Not so great by itself. It's better used blended with another type of tea.
Classic Ceylon tea touched with the flavor of fresh cream. Sweet and warm, pleasantly brisk, delicately creamy.

Not so great by itself. It's better used blended with another type of tea.
Great with cream to fully develop the cream flavor. Yummy and sweet treat.
A wonderful go-to tea for a smooth cup, and a great base for blends.
This tea is really nice. I especially like to blend it with fruit teas.
This tea has an almost artificial vanilla/cream smell in the bag, which instantly turned me off. Upon first taste I forgave it, though. It's mellow, smooth, a little sweet... everything you would expect from cream tea. It's even better with a dash of real cream and sweetener. Still, I can't help but feel it's lacking something. I think maybe it would be good in a blend, to give it a bit rounder of a taste. As is I think it's a bit plain, but still... good.
Bland and mildly disappointing. The flavor seemed to get lost.
I purchased a sample of this, but am still debating whether or not to buy a full bag. It's smooth and sweet, but has a bit of an odd aftertaste.
Although I'm not usually a fan of black teas, this tea is marvelous as the cream flavor really sweetens it up! Definitely recommend!
This was in a sample set years back when I first found Adagio. I tried it again. It is still a good solid tea, and a nice change of pace from the teas I normally drink. I've been very happy with the flavored teas from Adagio.
By itself, the flavor is a little too sweet for me, so I like to mix it with other teas.
Pretty nice. Blends well with most anything. Would order agan for sure.
Fairly good, but I won't re-buy. On the other hand my gf loves it. So not the teas fault just my prefrence.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got a free sample of this tea. It is smooth and sweet, a great dessert tea.
I love the smooth flavor of the cream. I mixed with the orange and its great! Very nice. Also mixed with strawberry and its very good
I felt stupid for thinking this tea was meant to be mixed with others to avoid putting cream in it, but this is best as a standalone tea.
I really do like this tea. I use it primarily as a base for my own blends and it functions well like that but it's nice just on it's own as well.
One of my absolute favorite teas from first smell. I could sit there just inhaling it all day.
I like to use this to mix with other teas (I'm looking at you, rooibos vanilla chai), but even on its own it's nice for a smooth cuppa.
I wasn't too sure about this tea originally but it is really good. It is nice and sweet and the creaminess makes it a good dessert tea and a good blending tea.
This was pretty good, if a little bland. It reminded me of hot chocolate, without the chocolate, with that slightly sweet powdered milk taste. A little boring on it's own, but I have things I can mix it with.
I'm not so sure about this one. Its pretty light and I needed to add a bit of sugar to get the taste to really come out. I think I prefer the coconut over this.
I love this tea. It is light tea that is great on it's own, or mixed with other teas. I love it mixed with a banana bread tea that I have.
This tea tastes like heaven and smells like a summer afternoon in a ice cream parlour. It's delicious, I'll definitely get it again.
This has a subtle flavor that is sweet and warm. I found mixing it with caramel tea to add more favor. Cream tea is slightly sweet and dreamy.
I love this tea. I put it in nearly every blend I make. On its own, it's merely decent. In a blend, it makes everything taste like rainbows and delicious.
The cream tea is excellent with milk and perhaps a little bit of honey. I actually had it with soy myself, but I'd be willing to bet milk is just as good. It's a really light tea, much calmer than an English Breakfast, so if you like a softer tea, this is a good option.
Scent is wonderful when you open up the bag, and the taste is good too. I found I had to add a bit more than 1 tsp to make a flavorful/strong enough cup. The second infusion I added 1 Dragon Pearl, and then a little soy milk. Nice morning pick me up! Yes, I would buy this one again.
I gave some of this to my mother along with a new tea kettle and some other stuff for Christmas. She loves it, and I've had a change to try it myself and have to say its definitely very very good.
I've since ordered some for myself and it's as good as I remember it a few years later. Once of my faves :)
I am yet to find a tea adagio makes that I don't love. Cream is exactly what it says it is, a black tea with a hint of cream. I add a little strenght full soy milk and if I had not made it myself I would swear it has a large blob of King Island cream in it. It reminds me of home every time I drink it.
This tea has a very alluring scent, both dry and when steeped, the flavor is also very good.
Yum. This is the first non-chai tea that I have ordered from Adagio, and good golly it is delicious. I am a fan of sweet teas, and believe me, this doesn't need any sweetener at all! A splash of milk really rounds out the flavor, but it could easily be enjoyed without as well. The second cup steeped on the same leaves comes out a bit weak, but I used a sweet cream coffee creamer to perk it up a bit and it was just perfect again. Can't wait to make another cup!
Great everyday tea. I was expecting a bit more cream flavor though.
Wow! This is one of the smoothest teas I have had the pleasure of drinking. On its own it's alright, but it really shines when you add it to other teas. I've really taken to adding half a teaspoon when brewing my chais. It really rounds out the flavor and helps because I only have to add a dash of milk to get the flavor I like. It allows the chai flavor to come through more.
This tea is delicious! Didn't need any sweetener at ALL and tasted like I'd put cream and sugar in - real cream, not milk! Even the feel of the tea was creamy. Glad I went ahead and got the 3oz on my first try and not a sampler, because this will definitely be a favorite.
Could not discern any cream flavor. No better, no worse than grocery store quality black tea.
I love this tea when I am wanting something a little sweet. It is especially good when I add a bit of cream to bring out the flavor.
This is good but to me nothing really special. Probably wont order again because there are so many I love more.
I mixed this with some cherry and hibiscus, and it was so delicious! Can't wait to try it alone.
A very intense flavor to this tea, it is great by itself but works better as part of a team. Use it as a base for almost any tea flavor and feel your taste buds sing.
This stuff if great! It smells sweet and delicious. I added a little whole milk and it was perfect. I haven't tried it iced yet, but I plan to.
Taste didn't come through very strongly for me, and I'm not sure if the taste I did get could be called 'cream', but still a nice tea.
This tea reminds me a lot of the sort of coffee I like to drink. It's a nice in between area for me if I am trying not to drink so much coffee and wanting the flavor, but almost wanting to enjoy some nice tea.
This pairs great with sweet treats as it's an excellent counterpoint and mildly holds hands with your sweeties.
It's part of a few blends I enjoy and I look forward to someday blending it with some other flavors as well. Do not overlook this as being an excellent tea all on its own!
This is easily my new favorite all-around tea. Very rich, and perfect with a little milk.
I have not yet tried this on its own, but it really works with so many blends.
I love this tea. I can't figure out how to describe it, but if you like vanilla, caramel, buttercream type flavors, you should enjoy this. It has the dessert flavor with enough of the black tea to keep it bold.
It's sweet and lovely on its own, but what I really love about the cream tea is the magical effect it has when blended with other teas. It makes just about everything even more delicious!
A little too on the sweet side more me. I like it with the fruity black teas better.
Added some maple syrup and powder sugar and it was perfect. You get a nice black tea taste along with a pancake-y taste. Will have to mix with something like golden monkey.
This tea is pretty fantastic on it's own...but I can't wait to try it in a blend! Yum.
This tea was absolutely dreamy! I definitely needed a bit of honey to bring out the depth of the cream flavor, and a splash of soy milk made it that much richer, although it was still yummy without it.
