Added a bit of honey and enjoyed a sweet and tart tea, perfect for thanksgiving.

It smelled sweet and fruity when I opened the packet. The only thing I saw in the packet was black tea and a ton of raspberry leaves. No cranberry pieces. After reading previous reviews and comments for the day, I decided to alter my tea slightly before I brewed. I took out over half of the raspberry leaves and tossed them. Added 3 dried cranberries, and brewed at 195F. Worked like a charm, I got a delightful fruity black tea. No bitterness, no astringency. As with all the berry flavored teas, this wasn't exactly cranberry... more of a generic fruit taste, but I could at least pick out a bit of cranberry flavor. Overall a good cup of tea, and one I would happily drink again. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 3 min @ 195F)

Honestly a bit sweeter than I expected, but definitely more of a cran-raspberry taste than pure cranberry. My cup was not overly tart, and some half and half helped tame the bitterness. I think I may prefer this one in blends, but all in all it wasn't a bad cup. Just not entirely to my taste. I hope everyone celebrating has a safe and happy Thanksgiving. <3

I had this tea in the packet of 26th, in my communiTEA box. It is such a perfect tea to enjoy thanksgiving day! I brewed this tea in a large cup and sipped while baking and preparing sides. Nice aroma of cranberries added up much more festive feelings!

Hm...I got a strong berry scent from this tea, but not much flavor. It's a perfectly pleasant cup of tea, but I mostly taste the black tea itself. There is a light berry flavor and smell.

Well I liked the tea and it was light not bitter, I didn’t taste much cranberry at all.

I didn't taste any cranberry, it did have some fruitiness, although I did add orange pieces like it suggested.
Just not very remarkable overall. Finishes dry.

There's nothing special about this cranberry black tea. The Ceylon tea dominated the scene to the point where the mild cranberry flavor was completely overwhelmed. My taste buds were underwhelmed accordingly. (3 min @ 212ºF)

This made for an amazing compliment to the pie I had for breakfast lol. I love how pronounced the cranberry is and it pairs so well with the black tea

There were no cranberries in my CommuniTea packet, but I still got a strong fruity scent from the packet. Plenty of raspberry leaf bits were clinging to each other. My 1st steep was 3min @ ~190°F. I added a spoon of sugar, & I didn't notice any bitterness. A berry flavor a noticeable, but it wasn't distinctly 'cranberry'. I did a 2nd steep for 4min @ ~200°F, again with a spoon of sugar, and it somehow had more berry flavor than the first steep.

This was a good choice for tea today! I appreciated the strength of the black tea with the touch of cranberry. I’d drink this again.

Here I was, thinking my cart was full enough. However, after drinking this tea I realized I was sorely mistaken. This tea is unexpectedly sweet--much sweeter than the sourness I was expecting. It makes a great cup when hot but would be even better iced.

My packet for the CommuniTEA had tons of raspberry leaf but no cranberries at all. I brewed it up as suggested, and my first taste, all I can think of is that no fruit should ever taste like that! The taste seems overwhelmingly chemical and artificial to me. Add to that the overwhelming taste from the excessive raspberry leaves and this one can not even be saved by sweetening it. I'm actually not even sure I can finish this cup-- life is short- we must enjoy each cup.

I love this tea. I've never had it by itself but wow, wow, wow holy flavorful, Batman. I was expecting something a lot more bitter but this is lovely!

This is one of the best deuity black teas. Very sweet, a packet of stevia cuts the black tea bitterness, but its great even without stevia.

★★★★★

The aroma from the dry tea was just . . . odd. Hot, the tea flavor dominated and is smooth with no bitterness. The cranberry taste was again, just a little off for me. So I added honey. Wow, the cup just came to life. The cranberry really jumped out and tasted fabulous, tart and juicy. The balance with the tea and cranberry is perfect. Leaves a dry finish. I bet this would make an excellent sweet, iced tea.

Did you notice the coinky-dink of cranberry tea for thanksgiving? 11/26 usa... amusing and flavorfully fun. Am pleased to try a Sri Lankan tea.. thanks!

Tasty! The black is a tiny bit overpowering and it feels wrong to add cream to this one but it was good nonetheless.

I made this tea to take to work on a particularly long day to feel festive. I ended up liking it a lot. It will probably become one of my favorite fall/winter teas. I could taste the cranberry flavor over the tea flavors but it wasn’t too tart and overwhelming. Perfect for a chilly fall or winter day.

Nice flavored tea that I am enjoying this time of year. Will probably purchase again.

The cranberry flavor is enough to make it taste like a fall afternoon in my mouth

★★★★☆

Pure and bold. Like to have it with honey. However putting some more pieces something for flavor like cinnamon stick would make it perfect cup of tea.

★★★☆☆

Not as much cranberry flavor as I would have liked, and I did have to under-steep it to reduce the tannic flavor, but once I found that sweet spot it was a very nice black tea.

★★★★★

What a perfect tea! I love when a fruit tea has just that hint of fruit, so the taste of the tea doesn t get lost. And this tea and the blueberry tea are perfect examples of that subtle balance.

★★★★★

One of my favorites. Not too much cranberry but enough to taste.

The Cranberry flavor is a great tea. I look forward to enjoying the tea during the upcoming holiday season.

MMMM, Cranberry! This was a perfect cup of berry flavored black tea. I will be ordering more for the Thanksgiving holidays. I already want a cup of this with my turkey and stuffing left-overs.

Cranberry was a bit more tart as its name implies, so I enjoyed it but would have loved for it to have a bit more of the fruit taste coming through. I still did proceed to enjoy qualmlessly, (did I make up a word?), adding honey to this cup.

Very nice cranberry flavor, happy with this black tea!

When the air turns crisp, I like to have warm cereal with dried cranberries. This cranberry black pairs well with that.

As I am trying some flavored teas these days, I now know why I am enjoying these so much lately. The flavorings are applied with such a subtle touch that you can actually taste the high quality tea .The flavours are there but in the right amount. This is the way a superior flavored tea should be done. Before giving up on flavored teas try some from Adiago. They seem to have the process down pat. This is also wonderful iced. Kudos!

Very good flavor, especially when you mix it with Grapefruit Oolong. It is easy to make perfect tea when you have velociTEA.

I'm not ususally a fan of fruity black teas, but I like cranberry so I gave this a try. My first cup, I wasn't a big fan (because it was ... a black fruity tea). There is a pleasant tartness to this tea, though, and it has grown on me each cup I've had. (Update: I have found that this tea makes an especially good addition to give just a touch of caffeine to fruity cold-brew teas, such as a blend with wild strawberry or blood orange. )

Not as bitter than cranberry juice but not too sweet either, a fruit flavor that is not in your face but relaxing on your taste buds

The cranberry tea has to be my new favorite. I've only had it hot so far but I absolutely love the cranberry taste. It was subtle, But at the same time very bold. And the smell was amazing. Definitely a five out of five

Delicious and enough caffeine to make a perfect breakfast tea.

I tried the cranberry tea today and FELL IN LOVE! It’s my habit to add half and half to my black teas (Assam, Irish breakfast, etc) but it was an “accident” to add it to the cranberry flavored tea — but it was SCRUMPTIOUS this way! I’ll buy more of this tea in the future!!

I got this to make iced tea, it needs to be hot steeped first, but its easy to oversteep, and can become a bit astringent with the tartness of the cranberry and the black tea. When done just right, it makes a really great iced tea, I mix it with the strawberry flavor too, and its pretty awesome with a splash of lemonade too.

A nice holiday tea that breaks away from spices and peppermint varieties. A good fruity flavor.

Flavor as expected. Tart. Smooth. Better cold than warm.

★★★★★

One of my children's favorites. The tartness is just right and blends well with the black tea.

I love this tea. I got some in a sampler before, I think - maybe it was a free sample with the order? So I knew I liked it, but could never review it - and because I hadn t reviewed it, I kept missing it on my orders! But I finally got some, and I m going to get a big bag next time I m able, because this is a very nice tea. It s a warm flavor, still distinctly a black tea, but with the nice touch of cranberry. It feels refined and fancy? But also cozy. It s hard to explain, but I really enjoy it.
