The smell was amazing and I was excited to try it out.
But the taste wasn't good at all, tasted kinda like cinnamon candy and water in a not so good way. I don't think the cinnamon mixes well with black tea.
I immediately dumped the cup in the garbage.
This is the best tea in the whole black tea department (for me at least). While travelling in Europe, I came across a beautiful tea place called tee stubchen. They had the best tea among which zimt (cinnamon ) tea was their best. This tea tastes similar to it and I drink it really often
Very good. More of a rich flavor than a spicy flavor. Blends well with the chocolate or nut flavored teas.

I tried a sample of this a long time ago and thought it tasted too artificial, but recently I gave it another chance and I think it's really improved! I added a packet of cinnamon inclusion for an even bigger cinnamon kick.
This tea is AMAZING! Well, if you like cinnamon which I do! It is super cinnamin-y and spicy! Perfect cinnamon tea and I am IN LOVE with it!

I had to update this review because this tea obviously has changed since I last had it. The first batch I had was amazing - it tasted like a great black tea with a hint of cinnamon that was really nice. Now, the tea smells like Red Hots and tastes very bitter and very synthetic. I'm really disappointed because I loved the previous version of this tea.
Good cinnamon taste. Maybe need to let sit a little bit longer as it seemed light.
This is the first bad tea I've ever had from this company. It was just bland. It tasted like someone had put cinnamon powder in black tea, given it a half-hearted stir, and gave it to me. It needs a whole lot more cinnamon flavor to be good.

Was surprised was a hot spice cinnamon flavor rather cinnamon stick flavor. Good, but was expecting a different flavor. I make a half English breakfast, half cinnamon blend with a touch of orange honey. My husband the cinnamon with raw sugar.
I received this tea as a sample with a larger order. I have enjoyed it very much mixed with honey and cream. It's wonderful on a cold day.
This tea wasn't bad, it just wasn't great either. I thought it would have a stronger cinnamon spicy flavor which it didn't. I will finish my sample or maybe add it to another flavor to add a little zip. But I won't be reordering.

I'm disappointed with this tea. It isn't *bad* but it isn't great, I've had a few cinnamon teas, and this one is sadly very weak, even after a couple tries of steeping. The cinnamon flavor is just lost in the vague black tea flavor. I guess it's good if you want a hint of flavor, and not distinctly cinnamon.

I am not getting much of the cinnamon at all. Have tried it a few times now with the recommended amounts, time, and temp and still not overly impressed.
How very disappointing this recent purchase of a 16 oz cinnamon tea was! The first purchase was SO wonderfully flavorful. I drank it all year long. Loved it! I couldn't finish the first cup from this new order.

This is pretty good. You get a nice amount of cinnamon. Have only had one cup so far. I will try mixing it up some but I like it enough alone.
Be careful when you brew it, if it's too long it gets bitter, but i find thats with most black teas. Otherwise it tastes like cinnamon, which is what you want when drinking this i suspect.
I wish the cinnamon flavor were stronger, but this is still a really nice black tea. It'd do nicely in blends.

I had such high hopes for this tea! I love cinnamon teas, and my favorite is by another brand. I figured this one would be the same super strong cinnamon flavor but it is not. The smell is so amazing but it does not translate to the cup. It is still an amazing cinnamon tea, but not as powerful as I had hoped.
Yummy tea that would be great with breakfast! Will definitely order again! Update, 9/12/16, this batch is only fragrant, the smell doesn't translate in flavor.
Most cinnamon teas are too strong - this one is not like most teas. Great cinnamon taste - very light and easy to drink.
