Smells like cinnamon? Check. Tastes like cinnamon? Check. No, really, this tea is cinnamon. Even the dregs are actual cinnamon (I think). If you want something to warm you up, or to put spice in your day, do it with this tea. A great tea for the holidays!

To be fair, sometimes I confuse cinnamon by thinking it should have a sweet flavor (like cinnabon rolls) rather than its actual spicy flavor. When I chose the cinnamon sample, I was actually expecting a sweet flavor.
On the bright side, this tea has a strong cinnamon smell. It tastes like cinnamon, but it wasn't spicy, which I was happy about.
However, sometimes the tea makes my throat sore. I'm not sure if it's because I'm allergic to cinnamon though since I don't eat cinnamon-flavored foods or drinks often.

This tea has a wonderful smell and it blends very well with other black teas, such as the apple.

Great tea! I steep it longer and add lots of milk a bit of sugar. My mom used to brew it in milk directly.

I was skeptical after reading the other reviews, but decided to try a sample anyway. It smelled nice, but didn't taste like cinnamon at all. Disappointing.

This is my favorite. Perfect for a fall or winter day.
★★★★☆
Warming and just a bit spicy, I really enjoy blending it with the ginger tea.

This is the first non-blend that I have found that I absolutely love. All it needs is a tablespoon of sugar crystals and it is perfect!

Not a tea to enjoy by itself, but it gives great pizazz to blends. Pulpy and too intense alone.

Excellent tea, has a pleasant spice with little bitterness that leaves cream and sugar unnecessary.

Not too strong, but unlike a lot of the flavored teas, it's also not too weak. Really enjoyed this tea.

This is a delicious tea, but a little too strong for me on its own. I prefer to drink this in a blend to add a nice kick of spice/flavor to other more basic black, green, or oolong teas.

This tea is very nice for a cold fall evening in New England.

Superb Flavor. ordered sample pack ...looking forward to buy more. Really loved the personalized attention to customer from Adaigo.

A bit tamer than chai, I really like to add this to blends to give it a bit of warmth. I've found it's really good with adagio's caramel tea.

I tried blending it with some chai teas to give more cinnamon flavor but there wasn't a lot of extra cinnamon I tasted.

A good curl up in front of the fire with a favorite book tea, the cinnamon smell is frankly a bit overwhelming out of the pouch, but mellows out when steeped. Tastes mild with an afterhint of cinnamon to it.

Good cinnamon flavor. This is good for blending with other flavors like apple or cream. Also great for cool days.

For me, this tea is a bit too spicy on its own, so I added it to grapefruit, and oh my goodness was it good. I prefer this in blends or as an accent, but my mother likes it as is.

Though has a strong spiced aroma to it, when brewed it is gently cinnamon-y. Brisk, yet light.

This tea was better than a I thought it would be. It was a much better cinnamon flavour than what I've had before.

I love this cinnamon tea! I've been using it a lot for blending, but it's also wonderful on its own!
★★★★★
Strong cinnamon smell when I opened the bag, and it had a great cinnamon flavor. I added sugar to it and sampled it, and then I added milk. The milk diluted the taste a little, so I'll be trying it again with just sugar. Will definitely be adding this to my reorder list.

Tastes like autumn. Similar to pumpkin spice, but without the pumpkin. Very cinnamon-y, but not overpowering at all. It's good as a dessert or after-dinner tea. However, it was a bit one-note for me.

I am absolutely addicted to this tea. I went through a whole sample pack in less than 3 days. It is insanely delicious.

I liked this one, but my daughters didn't care for it in our iced tea.

Pleasant enough, but it doesn't knock my socks off. I'm in the 'I'd be happy with way more cinnamon' camp, but clearly other folks find it too much or just right. The cinnamon doesn't overpower the black tea, which I can still taste, and that I do like. I can't help feeling it needs something more, though. This might be just the thing in a blend.

The cinnamon tea has a really strong cinnamon-y flavor, with a smooth finish. All around a great, spicy tea. be sure not to oversteep it, though.
★★★★☆
Certainly tastes like cinnamon! Although the taste was stronger before it cooled off. I definitely want to try putting this in a blend at some point, but it was delicious on its own.
★★★★☆
Fair warning, if you drink this tea on it's own, be prepared. You asked for cinnamon, and it's delivers with a powerful punch!

This tea manages to taste of cinnamon without being really sweet. It threw me off a bit because almost all the cinnamon dishes or drinks I've tasted involve more sugar, but it actually works quite well!

Christmas in a cup. Tastes just like cinnamon without it being too spicy.

I've really come to love this tea, but it took me a while, because it didn't turn out to be what I was initially hoping for. From other reviews - although the descriptions are certainly mixed - I had my heart set on red-hots: sweet cinnamon flavor with bite. What I got was more a smooth, sophisticated cinnamon, if that makes sense. I planned to use this tea to make some really spicy, punchy blends. What I've ended up using it for, instead, is as a black tea base for other flavors that offers just a bit more heat than your typical assam or plain ceylon. Still, for all that it's not what I went looking for at the outset, that smooth, sustained cinnamon taste is highly pleasurable, and I look forward to drinking it.

I really enjoy this tea in blends, I'm not a fan of cinnamon tea on it's own, but it makes a great addition to a tea that needs a little boost in spice
★★★☆☆
I don't know about this one, to me its ok , not what I was hoping for , its smells synthetic
★★★☆☆
Personally I found the taste of this tea too strong, but it's definitely for those that like cinnamon!
★★★★☆
This tea didn't brew up as strongly as I wanted it to, so I usually just add a pinch of it to other teas for a bit of extra flavor.
★★★★★
A nice, sharp cinnamon smell and taste, nice and strong too. Great tea.
★★★☆☆
This was nothing special. I think with a blend it would have been better.

This is a great flavor - warm and toasty, and great as a blender.

This tea used to be one of Adagio's best. The general consensus now seems to be that they've changed the formula - it barely tastes of cinnamon at all now.

Nice, strong cinnamon scent right when I opened the package. Smells heavenly, brewed for 3-4 minutes (lost track of time..) and added some milk and a lot of sugar. Tastes really nice. :) I definitely like this one!

I like the idea of this tea, but it tastes too much like an added flavor and less like the spice. I would have liked to see more cinnamon stick pieces in the mix and have it taste spicier, like a chai. This cinnamon is definitely spicy, but tastes more like a Hot Tamale or Fireball candy, especially if stepped too long. This might make a good element in blends, but it's definitely odd on its own.

Really strong cinnamon smell and actually ends up tasting like cinnamon too (unlike some of the other flavored black teas)

The cinnamon has a nice flavor and not to strong. I was unsure to try it. I'm glad I did it was good
