I have to ad at least 50 characters to make it qualify but all I really wanted to say was

CINNAAMMOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN ROARS IT TASTES SO GOOD

3 min steep · 212°F

★★★★★

The smell is enough to hook you.

★☆☆☆☆

Gross. Tastes like cinnamon candy, which I despise. I was hoping it would taste like the actual spice. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would like this, but I'm absolutely NOT one of them.

One of the best cinnamon teas I've ever had! Just the right amount of spice, soothing, especially in the afternoon!

★★★★★

The perfect tea for your holiday parties or just to sip on a cold afternoon. I like to garnish with a cinnamon stick.

★★★★★

Super tasty tea really hits the spot! Enjoyed it both cold and hot!

★★☆☆☆

I was disappointed by this tea. I too have had a cinnamon black tea that had a very strong cinnamon taste full of the cinnamon oil 'red hot' taste others have mentioned and was hoping this could match. Unfortunately it's a very mild cinnamon taste/smell.

I don't know if it needs a different type of cinnamon (Ceylon/Cassia). but it was definitely lacking in the twist I was hoping for. Not much different from a straight black with it's barely discernible cinnamon taste/smell :(

★★★★☆

I wasn't overly impressed, but this is a good tea for when cinnamon cravings hit.

★★★★☆

Cinnamon tea is a great tea that reminds you of every thing you love about fall

★☆☆☆☆

The aroma is very powerful and smells like cinnamon candies. The after taste is too spicy and unpleasant. I am unsure why this was recommended to me (I am not a cinnamon person), but since they offered it to me for free I decided to give it a shot. It was not worth it and I couldn't even finish a cup.

★★★☆☆

I've not always been the biggest fan of spicy teas. That said, still good. More bearable with milk.

★★★☆☆

Better when weak. The first time I made it, it tasted nothing like cinnamon.

★★★☆☆

I'm kind of disappointed in this one. I love cinnamon and was really looking forward to trying it. Sadly, it smells like red-hots and tastes like 'Natural cinnamon flavor' instead of real cinnamon. It's better when mixed with other teas (i.e. Tiger's Eye at a 50/50 mix) than it is by itself. I don't expect I'll be buying this one again any time soon.

★★★★★

A fantastic blast of cinnamon in this tea. Excellent when mixed with other teas to spice up the concoction.

★★★★★

This alone is great, but when mixed with the earl grey bravo or spiced apple chai...perfection!!!

★★★★★

who doesnt love cinnamon
This will be great for the cold winter

★★★★★

This is my favorite tea yet! And since cinnamon is supposed to be really good for diabetics, I have it year round, both iced and hot!

★★★☆☆

Not a big flavored tea drinker, but the cinnamon is not bad. Wish the cinnamon was a little more subdued.

★★★★★

It's cinnamon tea, what more can I say? If you like cinnamon, you'll like this tea.

★★★★☆

If you're looking for a more natural cinnamon flavor, then this tea is not for you. Instead, the flavor is more like red hot candies. I'll probably drink this one a lot more in the wintertime.

★★★★★

simple yet delicious good for the everyday brew and needs little if any sugar

★★★★☆

The cinnamon is flavorful, but not overbearing. This is a great tea to blend with other flavors.

★★★★★

This is a fun tea too drink, and reminds me when I was younger. (I like this fireball flavor of cinnamon)

Man I love this tea! It is like drinking a delicious cinnamon roll but without the calories! Perfect!

★★★★☆

I expected this to be more IN YOUR FACE CINNAMON flavor. It's a nice simple spiced tea, I like the uncomplicated flavor, but I expected more fire. I guess this is more like a cinnamon bun, not red hots.

...I'll probably buy it again, though. I love cinnamon.

★★★★★

A very strong cinnamon flavor, I love it in the evening.

★★★☆☆

I have bought the cinnamon tea before but this sample tasted a little off. It wasn't as fresh smelling or tasting as my last purchase but it's still good.

★★★★☆

It smells good and tastes like black tea with cinnamon sprinkled into it. I wasn't blown away by it, but it is what it says it is. I just feel like I could easily achieve the same thing by adding some ground cinnamon to any black tea. It was useful for mixing it with the Chocolate flavored black tea and gave it nice little spice boost.

This is my very favorite tea at Adagio! I am a huge fan of this tea- all year round. It has a wonderful cinnamon flavor is quite delicious hot or cold! Just by smelling the tea you will fall in love with this awesome tea blend!

★★★★☆

I like this one mixed with other teas for a little bit of that warm cinnamon kick.

★★★★★

Cinnamon has always been a favorite of mine and this tea is wonderful!

★★★★★

Very fragrant, with a lovely rich, sweet taste. The aroma fills the room.

★★★☆☆

The cinnamon tastes sort of artificial. I was hoping for a nice, warm, spicy sort of cinnamon. It tastes like cinnamon, but without the layers that make cinnamon interesting. Still good in blends, but mostly as a supplement rather than a primary flavor, I think.

I love mixing this with the Christmas tea or the Spiced Apple to give it just a bit more cinnamony kick.

★★★★☆

One will not forget that this is cinnamon. From both the dry and the steeped tea, the scent is not forgettable. For me, this is a strong point, but if you dislike cinnamon, you might want to steer clear of this one. It steeps well, in my opinion. Perhaps it is the strong spicy flavours that allow it to steep without too much tenderness to time and temperature. Or, perhaps my palate is simply not refined enough for such things.

Overall, I enjoy this tea, and will likely prefer it in the late autumn and winter (as with most spice teas for me!). I would probably suggest something a bit quieter and mild-mannered if this is your first 'toe-in-the-waters' of spiced teas.

Good, but very strong. I mainly ordered this for a mixer with my other adagio teas (chocolate and cream, for example). A little goes a long way! Love the flavor though.

★★★★☆

My first batch was full of wonderful cinnamony goodness. My last batch was awful. I don't know if they were listening to all the cinnamon haters reviewing this product or not, but it tasted like a weak chai with weird almost vanilla like notes. The cinnamon was almost absent. They refused to replace it as they say the rest of the batch is the same. I really don't know if I can trust adagio anymore which makes me sad as this was the only place I could find with quality black tea and real cinnamon and without a lot of other junk in it. I can't tell you how disappointed I am.

--update--

I ordered a second smaller batch in the hope that my last order had simply been mislabeled. No such luck. Though they deny it, I have absolute proof that the formulation has changed as I never washed the tin that had the old version of this tea. It absolutely is NOT the same tea they were selling and it has very little actual cinnamon in it. You tell just by smelling it. (It no longer smells anything like red hots) I can't tell you how disappointed I am. It's actually a little depressing.

--- update ---

I'm pleased to be able to update this review again. Though it seems the flavoring agent is still not quite the same as the original tea it appears they've got the proportions fixed and it is back to being a pleasant tea. It still doesn't have the bite of the original but it's back to being the best cinnamon tea that I've been able to find and believe me, I've looked.

I typically drink iced tea.
This is my usual process for black teas
In a 3' tea ball, steep 3 heaping Tbs tea in 10 cups boiling water for 5 minutes. Pour the tea into a 1/2 gallon picture (rubber maid with screw top, pop off lid), top with water and cool.
I get 2 batches out of the tea ball.

Pretty good. The cinnamon is neither too strong nor too mild. I mixed it with currant and assam melody and liked the way it turned out. I think this tea is definitely better in a mix.

The cinnamon tea I'm used to is just a few cinnamon sticks boiled in water. The first couple of sips reminded me of that, then the black tea flavor came out. It's not very spicy, but it's still good.

★★★★★

Lovely, and refreshing. I highly recommend this tea!

★★★★☆

Mixed with the Earl Grey Bravo, it makes a very good morning tea. Soothing for days when I wake with a tickle in my throat

the best cinnamon tea we have found.. clean sweet flavor! we add to irish breakfast to have a snickledoodle cookie in your cup YUM!

★★★☆☆

This tea's cinnamon taste isn't overpowering, which is good. The actual taste of the cinnamon is okay - it's clearly not high-quality cinnamon. it has that overly dry, cassia taste to it. I am glad I ordered a sample size, as this isn't one I'll be rebuying. It's not as overly cinnamon-ed as the spiced apple chai, which is a bonus, but just doesn't taste up to adagio's usual par.

A great cup for the afternoon. Wish it had a slightly stronger cinnamon note, but still delish!

★★★☆☆

I really wanted spicy, sweet cinnamon from this, and it was a little lacking. Not that it wasn't flavorful at all, just not as strong as I hoped it'd be. It could work well in a blend.

★★★★★

Cinnamon tea is my go-to tea whenever I'm sick with a sinus or throat thing and this is definitely going to be the new one I reach for next time I have the misfortune of catching something.

I wasn't a fan of this one. I liked the smell of the product, but not the taste. It seemed overly cinnamon-y to my taste.

★★★☆☆

This tea definitely packs a cinnamon punch. I've been looking for a way to increase my cinnamon intake and this seemed like the best way to go. Unfortunately the amount of sugar I had to add to get it palatable to my tastes was just too much. I'm not a huge fan, but it's drinkable.

★★★★☆

Got this as a free sample. It's an acquired taste especially if you're not used to strong smell of cinnamon. The taste is much better than its smell. Spicy cinnamon that will warm you up, and pinch of sugar makes this cup of tea. It really warms up the throat.
