I've always considered chai to be the epitome of 'Christmas in a cup,' but this Christmas blend has proved me wrong! The combination of chai with even more spices is helping me pretend it's December, despite the fact that it's 85 degrees and July. I also enjoy the fact that it's slightly sweet -- keeps the various spices from overpowering the blend. Can't wait to try this when it's actually cold outside.

★★☆☆☆

I don't like this tea. Its too earthy and spicy for this time

★★★★☆

Not as spicy as I expected, but still a very nice tea.

This tea has a great warmth to it! It really is the perfect cuppa for Christmas time, with enough spice to warm you up. Yet it just has a great flavor that isn't drowned out by the spices.

Last night, I tested several of my spiced tea samples (Christmas, Oriental Spice, Chocolate Chai, Spiced Apple Chai, Rooibos Cinnamon Apple, and Rooibos Vanilla Chai) against each other to get a sense for what makes each one unique. I was surprised to discover that Christmas landed at the bottom of the hierarchy, especially since it *sounds* like my paradigmatic spiced tea. I love the scent of steeped orange peels, I love classic Christmas spices, and I consistently enjoy other teas - such as Constant Comment - in the same general genre. Out of all the Chais, however, I found Christmas to be the least internally harmonious. It's a good tea, but there's a disjunction in the flavor somewhere, an uneven quality that the other spiced teas lacked. Oriental Spice isn't as *lively* as the feeling one associates with Christmas - it's spices have deeper rumblings to them - but it's the most similar tea of the bunch to Christmas, and it turns out I enjoy it more.

This tea smelled amazing when I first opened the sampler. I had great hopes for this tea. But, the cinnamon over threw alot of the other flavors out of my palate. It was good cold with some cream. The coldness and the cream kind of mellow out the cinnamon and let me see the other flavors. It was an okay tea, I probably wont buy it again.

I like the addition of more citrus notes, sort of reminds me of the oriental spice but with more orange

★★★★☆

This blend is wonderful and I can't wait to actually drink it around Christmas time!

★★★★☆

The spices really come through in this tea, but it is not as strong as a chai.

Exactly what I thought that it would taste like. It tastes a little like a Chai tea but not too much. I am not a fan of chai but I loved this!

★★★☆☆

This is not the best tea I've every tried but it was not bad.

★★★★☆

I usually don't drink spice teas, but this is one that I enjoyed drinking. I don't see drinking it every day, but perhaps once a week or so. There was a lingering after taste but it was very pleasant.

★★★☆☆

Too much cinnamon! It really overwhelmed the cup.

★★★★★

I'm not often a fan of chai or other spiced teas but this tea hasn't got an overwhelming influence of the chai flavors or cinnamon/cardamon/cloves. It's a very nice, smooth tea which certainly reminds me of fall months (I associate christmas and mint typically :P). Overall, I do recommend this tea and it's a nice soothing tea, despite the caffeine. :D

★★★★★

A delightful wintery tea which I know I shall be ordering lots for next winter.

★★★★★

This was my free sample and it is a wonderful spicy tea.

★★★★★

got this free and its soo good, reminds you of xmas

★★★★☆

I'm not a big fan of flavored teas, but as far as they go, this is good.

★★★★★

Oh this was nice! I got it after Christmas because I didn't think to look before. But I like spice teas and this one delivers well. Lovely blend of fruit, spice, and tea, perfectly evocative of my family Christmas celebrations. I'll get a nice big bag next holiday season!

Really does smell like Christmas! I found adding a little sweetness brings it all together (for my tastes, at least)

★★★★☆

Very festive! Spicey and warming. Perfect for Christmas, but not a summer tea.

★★★☆☆

Although this tea smells so wonderful in both the bag and as a tea, I was disappointed I couldn't get more taste out of it. It seemed a weak tea taste for such a strong lovely scent.

★★★★☆

This tea was great around the holiday it was named after. We also like to blend it with other tea.

An interesting combination. The orange isn't overly strong, and the cinnamon combines to give a pleasant cookie-like flavor.

★★★★★

Wonderful! Tasted a lot like chai tea. Very warm, creamy, and calming.

★★★☆☆

I was expecting something more in the way of spices and a little less in the way of citrus. The orange peel is strong in this one, and I didn't get much in the way of cinnamon or cardamom at all. Love the concept, but the execution is a bit lacking.

★★★☆☆

It wasn't a bad tea, but it wasn't very unique either. With a name like Christmas, I expected more. It wasn't very flavorful, and a little more bitter than I liked (I varied the way I steeped it, so I believe this is just the flavor of the tea).

I was really hoping to love this one, especially after reading the description. It turned out to be 'okay' for me.

★★★★★

I don't know what I love more about this tea: the taste, or the smell! It really does remind me of Christmas, and is perfect for when the whether gets chilly for the first time. (Given that this just happened here, I am loving this tea!)

★★★☆☆

I was a bit disappointed with this tea. The description made it sound like it was Christmas itself in liquid form. But, I found the orange flavor to be overpowering. It takes getting used to.

I don't know if it tastes like Christmas, but I do know it tastes delicious!

★★★★☆

It smelled great in the pouch, but no matter how I tried to steep it I could never get all of the flavors to come out. Even the less complex taste was delicious, but I wish I could have gotten it right.

★★★☆☆

This is alright - the taste isn't quite strong and if you do not use enough product you end up with a sort of watery chai tea taste. This really tastes no different than say... Vanilla chai by Yogi tea or some other similar brand. Not very unique in flavor.

★★★★☆

This tea was not exactly what I was expecting for some reason, but after I had a few cups of it I really found it enjoyable.

★★★★★

A wonderful orange spice black tea. Turns bitter quite quickly, but if you steep it for the right amount of time it's like a much deeper and developed 'Constant Comment'.

Ordered this around Christmas time (duh, Christmas tea for Christmas) and I must say it smells HEAVENLY. I think my sister stole the bag, I haven't been able to find it since then. Oh well. It's pretty good!

i chose this as a sample thinking it had many of my favorite flavors combined in one bag. i have been scared to try it because the smell upon opening the bag was overwhelming and a little more abrasive than i'd hoped. we'll see.

★★★★★

Spicy and comforting, was nice mixed with hocolate hip also. Love!

This was a terrible Christmas. No real flavour at all except that of something spoiled/chemical-like plastic taste. I'm a fan of most other Adagio teas...but this was very disappointing.

This was my first spiced tea, and I can honestly say I'm glad I tried it! Add some amber sugar crystals and it's superb.

The clove in this one comes across really strong. In the future I think I'll mix it with another black tea to cut back the bite - but this would be an EX ELLENT tea for a sore throat!

★★★★☆

Nice warm flavors, enjoyed this on Christmas morning!

★★★★☆

It still amazes me how adagio can make tea that fit the holidays perfectly. I swear this tea reminds me of my childhood during christmas time, wow!

★★★★★

This warm rich blend brings a bit of Christmas cheer to your cuppa! Made sweet and creamy, I was instantly back in my grandmother's kitchen watching her bake hristmas cookies. This blend is a keeper, stock up!

While this was an enjoyable black tea, as a tea drinker that does not sweeten my tea on most occasions this fell short of expectations.
This flavor in the tea was much more easily smelled than tasted. I would expect to need to sweeten this to draw those out.

Ehh christmas in a cup. It was pretty good just tasted a bit artificial.

The flavor is nice, but unremarkable. I was looking for something a bit spicier. I may try to blend it with something spicy.

★★★★★

A lovely smell, and an even better taste. s a fan of hristmas and all the spices from holiday treats it entails, I had to get this blend. It fulfills every expectation I had for a Christmas tea. elicious when mixed with cream tea.

The scent of this tea was fantastic but the taste never managed to be quite right for me. I did however use the rest in a potpourri dish during the holidays to invoke a Christmas smell throughout the house. Not really what one looks for in a tea but at least it wasn't wasted.
