Honestly, I was fairly surprised that I liked this tea. It's a Ceylon flavored tea (usually, ugh) and it smelled weird in the package, like too many flavors, cinnamon and anise all mingling with this syrupy orange smell. But the taste is primarily dark with sweet orange notes and it's not as bitter as other Ceylons are. Win?
I LOVE this tea. It's a very flavorful, spiced tea. It tastes like Christmas in a cup! Highly recommend! It's also quite amazing with a little spoonful of honey!
The spices are cloying and overpowering. Even when milk is add, it is too much.
There isn't enough cinnamon or orange to be either type of tea, but it does have both. It's pleasant, but it's not a tea that I see myself drinking outside of a blend.

Well-balanced wintery tea with pleasant spices. With a name like 'Christmas,' I was hoping for something a little more in the way of intense spice flavor, but it was still really good.

Very spicy and warm. A little too much cinnamon for me but I added some sugar and almond milk to lower the intensity a bit.

Even though I HATE orange, I really enjoyed this tea. I think my (very, very slight) dissatisfaction came from using 2 milk instead of whole milk so it ended up a bit watery.

I think that staunch lovers of black teas would like this flavored tea. It certainly smells like the holidays, but the flavor leaves something to be desired. Maybe the scent tricks your nose into thinking it's a chai blend, but the actual consumption is lacking the uumph of spice that you get when drinking. Over all, if you're going for a good smelling cup, pick this one. If you want a spicy blend, try a chai instead.
This is different than I expected. I thought it would have more of a cinnamon or clove flavor but the citrus notes are stronger to me. It's a nice tea but not how I would describe Christmas in a cup.
i just tried this tea and its really light but very flavorful its like drinking christmas, the smell is strong from the tea but the flavor is so perfect yum

I bought this to take on vacation. Of course I had to sample the tea before we left. I wish I hadn't done that because it's difficult to stay out of the tea now. There will be none left when we finally go on vacation. Oh well, I guess I'll have to order more.
I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I bought this tea. I wasn't expecting the strong flavor of cloves though.

This is a GREAT tea for Winter, and I love the spice. It has a very 'Christmas-y' smell. The bold, rich flavors make it ideal for a cold winter's night. The slight, sweet tang of the orange peels helps balance out the spice.
However, just a word to the wise, if you don't tend to like 'In your face' spice and heavy flavors in your tea, you may want to do use a little less when brewing and/or brew it for 2 min. instead of 3.
This tea is like getting hit in the face with a meth head dual-wielding candy cane switchblades. That's right, I said dual-wielding. he's not just carrying the candy canes, he's wielding them. And they're switchblade candy canes, not just ordinary candy cane knives. Why? Because this tea doesn't just cut you, it intimidates you first. In fact, this tea should be called Switchblade Candy Cane instead of Christmas, that's how powerful this brew is. Have you ever been on a small airplane that crashed into a nutmeg factory and survived? Then you'll be able to relate to this tea. Seriously, they've weaponized cardamom here, folks. If you've ever wondered what is was like to keg stand a mincemeat pie, this tea is for you.
Awesome black tea - sums up Christmas perfectly. I really like this one in the Fall/Winter, but could be enjoyed anytime you need a reminder of Christmas.
It's beginning to taste a lot like Christmas... The spice smell is very nice, calmer in water than straight out of the bag. Reading the description I was a bit worried that this would taste jumbled, but the flavors are well balanced. The orange doesn't overpower the spices. The cinnamon and cloves particularly pop for me. I don't love it, but I like it. It is very Christmassy.

This is my absolute favorite right now. It reminds of when the Christmas cookies were baking in the kitchen and brings out warm and lovely feelings. Great tea.
This tea is sweeter and less pungent than I thought it was going to be. I was worried that the orange peel would add an unpleasant bitter note from the pith, but all I can taste is round, mellow sweet orange. The spices are warm and on the subdued side. Of course, since there are pea-sized pieces of the different spices in this blend, the flavor will probably change from brew to brew. I really like that the spice bits are in there because it means a second cup is likely to have a good amount of flavor. I actually did try a second cup with the same leaves and I could still taste the orange and spices. I haven't tried this blend with sugar yet, but I imagine it would make the orange stand out even more. If you're looking for something strong and spicy, like a chai, this probably isn't the blend for you, but if you want something warm and sweet to sip by the fire, you might want to give this a try.

Love this tea! I may even start drinking it year round! It's got a very subtle flavoring of orange and cinnamon but it doesn't taste artificial! And it smells amazing!
I bought this tea for my mom and she is head over heels in love with it. When she first smelled it her eyes lit up and she exclaimed, 'It does smell like Christmas!' Its warm with a little spice and hint of citrus. Definitely recommend this tea and I'll certainly be stocking up on it.

the initial smell of the tea is spicy but the overall flavor is not as much as I would like.
There's nothing about this tea that jumps out as particularly 'Christmas-y'... the flavor is too mellow for me to really think about the sharper spicy flavors of Christmas. All in all it's fine, but I feel like it's lacking something essential to a good Christmas tea.
Not what I was expecting, but a good, spicy tea mixture.
