Christmas in a cup. A lovely spice blend with a smidge of orange. Added honey...would be nice all throughout the year!

The cloves and cinnamon are very prominent in this cup, the tea flavors are a bit overwhelmed by the spice.

★★★★☆

Good base black spiced tea. I was slightly disappointed there wasn't a bit more ginger in this. I tasted none at all. But I did enjoy this!

Opening my package this morning was a real treat, the aroma is wonderful, spicy, sweet and promising.
I brewed this up at a lower temperature than I usually would on the recommendations I saw in the tea chat, and I am very glad that I did. My tea was very nice, and not overly bitter, but I feel that at a higher temp, the base of this tea may yield a bit of a bitter brew. The spices were very nicely balanced with the base, not spicy enough to be considered a chai but enough to set the tastebuds dancing. I did add a small splash of maple syrup to enhance the spice flavours. Overall this was a nice cup, and very suited to the day!

I tend to like to brew my teas for the most amount of time. So I went the full 3 minutes. The addition of sweetener really brought out the spiced notes for me. I had this with my Christmas Day Breakfast Casserole, which was the perfect accompaniment. Someone mentioned, 'Like a Spiced Constant Comment' and that is a very apt description. (212 degree @ 3-4 min with agave).

A little bit of zest and a little bit of spice, good for everyone - naughty or nice. This is a smooth and mild spiced tea, just a little bit more than a plain black tea. Steep it at a lower temperature (190-200) to avoid bitterness coming off the ceylon tea. I'd personally prefer a little more flavor but I can see how this has broad appeal. You can serve a big pot of this tea at a holiday party and satisfy most palates.

Well merry merry jingle jingle hi ho hi, that’s what’s in this cup. If you don’t feel like Christmas, not for you.

Not bad, definitely festive! I think a little heavy on the ginger for my liking but I like the overall smooth spicy vibes. I don’t plan to buy again but definitely not disappointed I did!

I brewed at a lower temp than recommended, 190 for 3 min. It has a nice spice that I have been sipping all day.

Very much cloves, hint of ginger and cinnamon, very little orange.

Out of laziness, I brewed this at a lower temp, and I think it caused me to miss out on some of the spices I was smelling in the packet. A little bit of sugar helped, but I wish I just did it right. To describe the taste - If you have ever had pepper cookies, I would call this pepper cookie tea.

Adagio what a perfect tea for today, Christmas in a tea cup! Cinnamon and clove flavors showed up nicely with a very light orange teaser popping in at the end. Simply delicious! Enjoyed Today’s tea, probably since it is similar to a chai. Took it up a notch, added some of adagio rock sugar. Wow, now that’s a perfect...Christmas-spice tea. Thanks to communiTea chats, I followed a little tip, to steep at a lower temperature from one of communiTea friends. Kudos Jim

This is cinnamon black tea, great with a packet of stevia.

I just had a packet of this tea on Christmas Eve in the advent calendar, and it's nice to have another one in the communiTEA on Christmas Day proper. The light spice notes are appropriately festive, and the orange peel leavens the astringency of the black tea, making this a perfect cup to enjoy on its own with nothing added. (3.5 mins @ 200 F, no additions)

Tried with CommuniTEA. A lovely spiced orange tea! Very festive!

What an amazing blend for Christmas morning! The smell is just as amazing as the taste!

Spicy black tea with clove flavor taking the lead, then followed gently by the ginger and cinnamon. Not much orange in my cup, sadly, but the aroma is truly Christmas. Perhaps a little sweetener would help the slight astringency as it cools or maybe just adding a slice of fresh orange.

This Christmas tea was bland, all subtleties and no flavor.

★★★★☆

This tea was mild, and a nice cup to experience. Wouldn't purchase this for my tea collection, but I found this a pleasant tea which didn't smell overpowering in the pouch.

★★★★★

Nice strong tea flavor with cinnamon and cloves up front. It’s everything you want in spice heavy tea. Reminds me of Bigelow’s Constant Comment.

Very happy this was in my CommuniTea today and kind of had a feeling it would be. I got some huge pieces of orange in my packet which was a big surprise and made the orange stand out a lot more this time.

It's ok. Orange forward with a hint of cinnamon. Also picking up on the general 'spice' flavor. Not my favorite flavor profile but it definitely has a Christmas vibe to it.

This was a delicious spiced tea to wake up to on Christmas morning while watching the snow fall outside. It's similar to masala chai, but the spice is a bit lighter and the sweet orange adds another dimension to smooth it out. I added a teaspoon of sugar and splash of milk and it was perfect. I can see this one becoming a Christmas tradition.

I was afraid I really wouldn't like this because of all the spices listed, since that's just not my thing. I didn't hate it but I also wasn't particularly impressed by it? I think if you enjoy a spicy tea, you'll love this, but mostly what I personally got out of it was little flavor, a nice aroma, and a dry mouthfeel. All in all...eh.

A few bits of cinnamon, very little ginger, one tiny orange piece, two cloves, no cardamom, and a partridge and a pear tree were noted in my communiTEA packet this morning. Mild spicy aromas were noted. Since it’s Christmas and I wasn’t feeling bitter, I decided to do a lower temperature steep today.

When hot, no bitterness was noted. Santa added a special touch by having the black tea produce some mild dark chocolate-like flavors. Ginger, clove, and cinnamon flavors were mild. I added a bit of sugar to smooth out the tea/chocolate flavors.

When warm, very slight, but appropriate amounts of dry astringency were noted from the tea. Mild and smooth chocolate-like flavors continued with the spices blending in nicely. No cardamom and orange flavors were noted. At the finale, the clove moved to center stage and took a bow at the end.

From start to finish, I enjoyed this Christmasy sip from the Adagio elves! (4 mins @ 190ºF, 1/4 tsp sugar)

It had this tea from CommuniTEA. When I tasted this tea, I thought 'Wow! this is very christmassy'. Then, I checked the name of this tea on the site. Yes, its name is 'christmas'.

Make sure to brew it exactly the amount of time required or it is bitter. But the flavor is so good.

I love spice teas, and this one is really good! Love the blend of spices in this, with the hint of orange flavouring. This is fantastic for Christmas, but I could drink this year-round.

A spicy warm blend to warm the heart and lift the spirits. I am not a huge fan of spiced teas. However, this one brings back fond memories of mulled cider and snowman building from my childhood. Overall a good, notstalgic cup that my mother will not doubt love.

This is a perfect Christmas tea! The citrus and spices meld perfectly and make for a wonderful morning tea with honey and milk. Delicious!

This is a wonderful holiday-season tea. Aromatic and flavorful, but not overpowering. The orange and clove are balanced nicely and this does have that traditional-Christmas-spice sense to it. This probably won t become a year-round favorite for me, but it s definitely one I ll purchase for the holidays.

Christmas memories spring at you as you open the bag. I made me husband spell it before I told him the title and even he said, 'Smells like Christmas at Grandma's'. It taste just as good at it smells. I only bought the sample, but will be buying a bigger size next order.

★★★☆☆

Christmas tea gets an okay from me. For this type of flavoring, I prefer my go-to Pu-Erh Spice.

Smells and tastes just like Christmas morning. Drink with a gingerbread cookie anytime of the year.
