It smells divine! It also lives up to its name. It does taste like chocolate, but I don't think there is any real depth of flavor. It's just tea that tastes like chocolate.
Smooth with just the right amount of chocolate flavor without being overpowering.
Definitely much better used as a mixer than on its own, but it really is lovely when added with other teas!

Got this as a free sample to my order that arrived this weekend and honestly, I didn't get enough chocolate-y taste during my first cup. I was only able to get more of it when I added more honey to my next cup. Won't say it was overall bad, but like what others said, the scent was better than the taste.
This is a wonderful tea. I love the chocolate flavor. It is smooth with a sweet after note.
Good, needs just a BIT more deep chocolate flavour, but has a noticeable bitter taste of chocolate, and is good on its own plain or with a dash of milk and honey. I haven't yet tried mixing it, but I plan to mix it with maybe some mint tea or a plain chai.
I wish the chocolate flavor was just a little stronger, but this is a great tea nonetheless. If you know people who like coffee or cocoa, but don't like tea... this might be one way to 'convert' them! It didn't last very long in this house.
Fun by itself but a great blender tea. I probably use this one the most. I love to combine the loose tea with others black teas like cream, caramel, almond, hazelnut, coconut, vanilla, or a fan favorite--strawberry!! I always use raw honey as my sweetener, but I made my own vanilla infused honey which tastes great.
This tea smells chocolaty and there are visibly chocolate nibs in it, but steeped, it tastes artificial, which is an entirely different taste from real chocolate. With cream and sugar, this tea tastes like tea-flavored chocolate milk. It's definitely a chocolate tea, as promised on the bag, but it's not great. Definitely better blended with other teas than on its own.
I love this tea. I had it for a long time and wasn't a fan, but then I tried it again. I now find that it is one of my favorites. I can't say that it tastes like chocolate, in the way the hot chocolate does, but it has such a great flavor. I can't stop drinking it.
Any kind of chocolate tea is my favorite. This one does not dissappoint.
I'm not a big fan of this tea. It doesn't blow me away, and doesn't particularly taste like chocolate. It's just alright, almost a little weird tasting though.

I didn't think I would be a fan of chocolate tea but this one is great. The aroma is creamy and it's not sweet. It's great by itself or added to another tea. Since it has caffeine, it's great for mornings.
Unfortunately for me, while I love all sorts of teas--sweet and plain--this chocolate tea was a disaster. It tastes very much like fake flavoring. I would never order it again.

I pair this with some Peppermint tea, and its amazing! Great on it's own, but even better together. Just a light hint of chocolate makes it perfect for a little treat.

This is very interesting and complex. I was expecting more of hot coco flavor but this is more of a liquid dark chocolate. There is almost a nutty aftertaste to this with a bit of coffee on the side. Not quite my style but still interesting. Definitely will thrill the palates of chocolate lovers.
I don't drink this one alone, because it's ideal for blending with other teas like peppermint, chai, or candy cane. A staple I always keep on hand.

I really liked this tea! It had a strong chocolate flavor which is helpful if you want to have chocolate but you'd rather skip the calories. I found it to be a n excellent morning tea but it might keep you up at night.
A bit too strong with artificial flavor. I blend this with my breakfast black tea leaves. I won't use it alone.

This is a great tea, I love to mix it with the orange rooibis and also with the hazlenut. It is especially delicious with the chorange pu erh hot or cold, that combo together is super smooth.
This has a definite chocolate flavor but I'm not sure that's the best mix for tea. Better option to me is the Tiger Eye which definitely has a chocolate/caramel background.
Not sure what I was expecting but I did not enjoy the chocolate tea. Tried it with both additional sweetner (sugar and honey, separately) and with less, both with and without milk but couldn't find the right mix to actually enjoy. Will not be ordering again as a single order.
Delicious tea! Full flavor and very smooth. Perfect for that chocolate fix without actually eating chocolate. One of my favorite teas.

I liked this tea more than I was expecting but less than I was hoping. It has an unpleasant burnt smell that made me more than a little hesitant, and while it wasn't nearly as present in the taste it was still there somewhat. Overall, it's definitely not something that I'll be drinking by itself, but it mixes fairly well with other flavors.
Not as 'chocolatey' as I expected this to be but still a good tea to mix with others. I do not drink it plain as I believe it is a little bitter. Great mixed with coconut!

tastes really good steeped in milk. not so great in water because it tastes like watery hot chocolate.
I just tried this tea tonight. It really smells like chocolate! As for the taste, it's pretty good - kind of like watery hot chocolate. I had it with a little milk and sugar and some fresh sugar cookies. It tasted great with the cookies, probably because they were so sweet. I would definitely recommend!

It is a little thin, but the flavor is present. I would recommend using this in a blend vs straight.
