The chocolate chip black tea is one of my favorite morning brews. I don't miss my coffee when I have this one in hand!

★★★★★

I blended this with almond and OMG!!! so sweet and rich without the calories.

★★★★★

This has a very dark chocolate taste, with some resemblance to coffee. Works well with a little sugar.

★★★★☆

Good flavor overall. Was not too artificial tasting.

★★★★★

This is my absolute favorite tea. The chocolate flavor isn't overwhelming, and has just the right amount of sweetness. It's the perfect thing to warm me and wake me up on a cold day.

This was pretty good--not amazing by itself but really good mixed with raspberry or hazelnut

★★★★★

I love this tea! It is an excellent dessert option because it tastes just like a chocolate chip cookie. I wish they would make a decaf version so that I could drink it before bed. I usually add some sweetener to bring out the flavour.

★★★★☆

The chocolate could be stronger, but I really do enjoy this tea. It's actually nicely earthy.

★★★★☆

Will get for sure again. Almost like hot chocolate but this is better for you

This flavor isn't normally my style and too rich but this was a great blend that was very pleasant!

★★★★☆

Very yummy. I like to have this at work in the afternoon as a pick me up.

★★★★★

I absolutely love this with honey and milk:) It is also great with just milk.

★★★★★

great tea, nice and warm and chocolatey but not overpowering.

★★★★★

chocolate chip has just the right mixture to it that makes it special

★★★★★

What can I say? I love chocolate and this was really the bomb!

★★★★☆

It tastes a lot like chocolate, naturally, but like many flavored teas its not great without a lot of sweetener.

★★☆☆☆

It had a lovely aroma, but very flat almost no taste although it brewed quite dark. A failed experiment.

★★★★☆

I love chocolate. This was a better infusion of tea and chocolate. This has actual chocolate chips in it which adds the chocolate flavor. Had tried the Chocolate Chai previously and found it too espresso like. This is much better. More of an afternoon or evening tea.

★★★★★

Bin the beginning I was afraid to try this tea. It's such a different flavor for tea. To my surprise though it tastes great. A nice treat for those craving chocolate but don't want to eat all that sugar. It's definitely a different type of brew though... It's not like hot chocolate but its still chocolatey and I would recommend this tea to any chocolate loveror anyone who is feeling adventurous with their tea choices.

★★★★★

When you open this up, it smells very...manly I suppose. Mixed with another tea (caramel) or on its own is pure pleasure.

★★★★★

Great combined with almond. Tastes like a cookie!

★★★★★

Super tasty tea really hits the spot! Enjoyed it both cold and hot!

★★★★☆

Add a little milk to this and it's even better. I also added some clover honey, it's great when needing a chocolate fix without the all the calories!

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite mix-in teas. It is good on its own, but really great paired with a nutty tea or cream.

★★☆☆☆

At first I looked at this tea and thought, 'how is this any different from hot chocolate?'

Well, I'll tell you. It just smells like chocolate chip. REALLY STRONGLY. It tastes like boring old black tea.

This tea IS chocolate. The aroma of the tea leaves and the liquid is pure chocolate. I can taste a bit of the chocolate when drinking it, and I can't wait to try blending it with other stuff.

★★★★☆

Tasted great, but could have been a bit more chocolatey. Maybe I could have brewed it stronger or longer.

★★★★☆

I have had other chocolate flavored/chocolate combination flavored teas by Adagio and so far this one is the best. It isn't overwhelming but the chocolate flavor is definitely present, smooth and not artificial. My sample bag did have a lot of chips in it. Would I buy a full sized bag? Probably not because I could not imagine having this regularly enough for that but I wouldn't mind having a sample on hand most of the time. And I'm not even a huge fan of chocolate in general, especially dark chocolate.

Like one would think, it tastes like chocolate. I like to add a little honey with it.

★★★★☆

I would rate this as a 4 on a scale of 4-5. The chocolate taste is good, but is rather a distraction from the overall 'tea' taste. But, still good!

★★★☆☆

Tastes like a flavored coffee. Not unpleasant at all but I am not into coffee. It has a sweetness to it but I would rather drink hot cocoa. I would drink this in the future but I'm not sure I would purchase it for myself. I will brew a few more cups from the sample to see if it grows on me. update: I made a few more cups and noticed that the initial cup seems bitter and the next few cups from the same leaves taste more like mocha coffee.

★★★★★

I love the chocolate chip tea, its got a chocolatey taste, but not enough to be overbearing. It's a good pick me up tea when you want something sort of sweet, it also goes good with just about anything, really.

★★★★★

A little more chocolate flavor than plain chocolate.

★★★★★

Favorite of mine, served iced with a splash of dark chocolate syrup or hot over a small piece of your favorite dark chocolate flavor.

★★★★★

I prefer drinking this with a lot of sugar and milk. It has an amazing flavor, like you mixed a cup of hot chocolate into your tea. It's a perfect tea to drink while winding down before bed.

★★★★☆

The tea smells wonderful and if you get the steeping time right, around four minutes, it tastes just as good. Nice and chocolatey. Longer than that and the astringency of the tea distracts from the chocolate rather than working with it.

★★★★☆

This is a fun tea, when you want just a little hint of something different. It doesn't taste that chocolatey to me, but I still really enjoy it.

★★★★★

Very good tea. Can taste the chocolate and is enjoyable.

★★★☆☆

It was ok, just ok. Not good, not bad. It was a little too strong for my liking. that being said, if you like stronger tea, this might be the one for you.

★★★★★

Tastes like chocolate chip cookies. I don't know what more you want.

★★★☆☆

It's good, but I was hoping for a stronger flavored chocolate tea.

★★★☆☆

You may have seen my review on the caramel...and I am afraid I feel the same about the chocolate chip. Flavored teas just are not my thing, but Husband wanted to try, so we tried. He liked, so it gets an ok. I did not like, so that is all it gets.

★★★★★

Beautiful, bitter, sharp and strong. Wonderful if you want a rich, coffee-esque cup. A clean aftertaste and a delightful scent. Perfect for entertaining.

★★★★★

This is a delicious chocolate tea! Without some kind of sweetener and milk/cream, the chocolate and tea flavors come off a bit bitter, but I added some honey and soy milk which really brought out the chocolate flavor, but you you could still taste the tea. Very yum :)

★★★☆☆

I liked the tea, but it's definitely not my favorite. I wasn't too surprised by this as I'm not much of a chocolate person but I wanted to give it a shot, if you're a fan a chocolate, I'm sure this tea would be for you

★★★★☆

This tea has a very strong chocolate presence and a very smooth feel. I prefer this in the afternoon, as it is a little too 'sweet' for a breakfast cup.

★★★☆☆

This tea works better blended. By itself, the chocolate tastes a little too artificial. It's nice with another black tea to mellow it out a little.

★★★★☆

This is a nice black tea but not as chocolatey as I would like. I've made it hot and iced and liked it both ways.

★★★★★

I share my teas at work, there are 3 other girls who work in my quad and we all order from Adagio and this is a hit with all 4 of us. Very chocolately and rich.

★★★☆☆

Maybe it's too tough for the chocolate to come through in tea, because this ends up being a disappointing mix. It is not terrible, but do not expect a sweet treat here. I am getting way too much bitterness.

Supposedly there are actual chocolate chips in this tea, but that taste is lost somewhere as well, likely hidden underneath the bitter taste you get.

Would love to hear some different ideas on how to enjoy this, but the way I am making it, it leaves me desiring more. Still a decent cup however.

Try your luck blending this tea with another to make it more enjoyable.
