The chocolate is perhaps a bit lighter than I expected, but it's subtle enough that it makes a great base for some home trial mixtures with other blends like the hazelnut. Yum.

Though this has a deep, full flavor, it could use a little bit more of the chocolate notes. I found it was best mixed with a bit of healthy sweetener and coconut or almond milk, or blended with other teas. It's also nice with a wee bit of cocoa added.
One of my wintertime favorites. I like to combine it with a mint variety to create mint chocolate chip. Delicious with a little half and half.

I keep swearing to myself that I only buy this tea as a mixer. I plan to combine it with other teas for some fun flavor combinations. But then... but then... I always end up drinking it straight. It's good black. It's good with cream. It's good with sweetener or without. I honestly haven't been able to make a cup of tea with this that is bad. I've tried oversteeping. I've tried understeeping.
Understeeping is the closest to bad that this tea gets. It is delicious, all the way through.
Mix with the caramel tea and it is great. It is also good by itself

First of all, I'm not sure what the temp was that I steeped it at. I waited until the water was at a relatively gentle boil.
But this tastes absolutely divine. It's a very gentle, subtle flavour, and the cocoa is the highlight. The chocolate chips add a slight creaminess to it, and the tea itself feels light on my tongue. Added a bit of sugar and it tasted like hot cocoa!
Love this tea! So good alone but if you add a fruit flavor or a mint flavor, it's superb!

I love Adagio's black teas because they have a nice creamy consistency and the chocolate chips added another layer of delicious creamyness. It had just the perfect amount of sweetness.
Perfect cup of chocolate tea (I ve had some that are artificial tasting but this is so smooth and chocolatey). Just wish it was also available in decaf so I could have some before bed. I prepared it as directed on the package and it was perfect.
