This tea is delicious! The addition of the candy cane pieces to the black tea really freshens it up and gives it zing! The tea is smooth and delicious hot (I've not tried it cold yet).
This wonderfully smooth, minty treat that will fill you with a warm Christmas spirit and leave you jolly. There's no need to wait for a visit from Old Saint Nick to enjoy this yuletide favorite.

This is our very favorite holiday tea. We stock every year! Makes a great gift in the Adagio glass jar.
this tea is really good. i don't get the full candy cane flavor but its a tasty tea i wont say i'm going to add it to my favorites but then again the tea may grow on me more i've only had one cup of it so far. the turn off for me...is their is a slight aroma that i cant seem to place that bothers me a lil bit.
I love any tea that has any type of mint in it and this one is one of my favorites. I'll definitely be serving it throughout the holidays :)
love all the mint teas. this one was outstanding.
I have been drinking this one by the pot! It has a soft and creamy mint quality, that is, not too harsh. I've also made a blend by adding a cream tea bag to the pot and it's also really tasty!
Tastes like Christmas, if you're into that sort of thing. I actually prefer this after it's cooled to almost cold, but not that it isn't delightful warm and steamy, too. Also, I'm not necessarily a 'mint' person but this isn't too strong.
So much peppermint! My only complaint is that I wish the candy cane pieces were bigger.
Had a bit of mint flavor, and candy flavor, and yet wasn't at all reminiscent of a candy-cane. I'll stick to peppermint, and mix it with fujian baroque if I need the black tea kick.
this tea has a nice sweet minty flavor, it really does taste like a candy cane as opposed to traditional herbal mint tea
This tea is very strongly scented in the bag and very layered. It takes a bit for the peppermint to come through the rest of the scents. It brewed up very well and is sweet without being overly sweet.
This also had juust a little fake taste. I kind of like having a minty tea that is not herbal.
I'm a sucker for peppermint and candy canes, so I had to try this sample. Well, I'm going to buy a full bag as soon as I'm done, which will be quite soon. This tastes creamy, minty - everything a candy cane tea should be.
Oh my goodness, this tea smells heavenly. If I could get an air freshener of this tea then I would! The taste is absolutely phenomenal. My favorite tea so far from Adagio!
This smelled very similar to the Teavana White Chocolate Peppermint tea but tasted much more mild. The candy cane smell was strong but the flavor was barely there in the tea. It definitely needs more candy cane pieces added in. Still, it's very good. It's the black tea version of Casablanca Twist.
Okay, this stuff is literally candy canes in a cup. Add some milk to it, and I added a teensy bit of agave for the perfect cup
This tea has been one of the best surprises I've experienced in tea tasting. Incredibly rich, almost buttery, with a strong peppermint flavor that isn't overwhelming or spicy. Speaking as someone who generally hates peppermint tea, this is the perfect savory version!
This tea is exactly what I want on a cold winter day. It's just sweet enough that I don't have to add any sugar or honey, perfect all on it's own.
It tastes like a candy cane plucked right off the branches of a Christmas tree! It's a distinct 'candy cane' flavour and aroma, not simply 'mint' or 'peppermint'. This tea is definitely a new holiday staple for me!
OMGoshers this really smells AND tastes like candy canes!! The End...Adagio Wins! If you aren't in the holiday spirit just yet Candy Cane will surely get you well on your way. I cut the steep time short of the suggested 3 minutes as black teas are usually too bitter for my taste when I steep them as suggested (by any brand). You'll definitely notice the mint in Candy Cane, but it's not overwhelmingly minty nor sweet. I also added three Amber Sugar Crystals as I usually need to sweeten black tea just a little bit. The tea was still only mildly sweet. The cooling finish is that of a typical mint tea. however, the creamy character is rather unique.
If you're a milk in tea type, Candy Cane is bold enough to make a great milk tea. I think it would also be great as a base for a blended tea. I just love to blend lol. In fact, I plan to use it in a future blend with a chocolate pu-erh for a peppermint patty inspired tea.
Nice fresh, minty taste, really tastes like a candy cane!
The candy cane tea has a strong fragrance and a subtle taste. I thoroughly enjoyed it on cold mornings. The fragrance and taste woke up the senses. Recommend.
This actually has tiny chunks of candy cane mixed in! The difference between this and peppermint (aside from caffeine) is the added body, but also an menthol vanilla like essence. Sounds weird, but it's awesome. Try mixing it with something unexpected, like Rooibos Caramel.
This was surprisingly good. You can really taste the candy cane flavor--very sweet.
This is tea is so nice! It tastes just like Christmas in a cup. The tea is already sweet enough on its own, but adding a little bit of sweetener really brings out the flavours!
Perfect blend- yummy all year! Stock up on this one- it's sure to be a favorite!
This tea reminded me of Teavana's white chocolate peppermint rooibos upon smelling it, and the taste is pleasantly similar! It just has the stronger under-flavor of the black tea along with the sharp peppermint-candy taste that isn't overwhelming.
When my husband smelled this tea, he actually took it away from me! Black tea leaves is the perfect base for the great taste of candy cane, and needed very little sugar to sweeten it. Lovelovelove, will purchase more soon!
Minty freshman. So Christmas. Very cane. Gotta candy.
I first tried this when a friend gave me a packet to try. I had a stuffy head and a sore throat and this was just what I needed. It's going on my comfort food list.
This is the perfect vanilla mint tea! It doesn't even need any sweetener!
Really tastes like a candy cane and has me all ready for Christmas time!
This loose leaf is alright for maybe hot sipping, but definitely not for iced tea which is how I prefer drinking my tea. The peppermint is very pronounced, and that's having it mixed with another loose leaf flavor tea. I'm almost tempted to just throw it away, but I still have other flavor teas to use in order to dilute it. I originally just wanted a sample size, but they didn't have any at the time and I wanted to take advantage of the bulk order I made at the time. It is very much a winter type of hot drink tea.
There are no words. I love the candy cane. I love it love it love it. I could drink an ocean of it and still love it!
A
This tea smells just like its namesake and makes it great to wake up to. There is a very slight sweetness to the flavor and definitely tastes like a candy cane. With sugar its even better and makes for a great tea for a chilly evening.
Not the taste I was expecting but not horrible either.
My favorite tea that I have discovered from Adagio. I love mint teas, and this is on another level. It is delicious, not too sweet, and just the perfect amount of mint. It certainly does have a small taste of candy cane and extra sweetness over regular mint tea. Highly recommended for mint lovers or someone looking for a sweet candy-like tea. DELICIOUS!
Positively Wonderful! Accompanies short bread cookies exceptionally well. Bit o' sugar, healthy splash of cream, and you are set to Candy Cane Lane.
I'm not a huge fan of candy canes, but man this tea is amazing! Definitely will repurchase.
So delicious- and such a great way to help relieve a sore throat. You can definitely taste the candy cane, but it's not overbearing. A little vanilla creamer goes well, or just some milk. I even stirred the creamer in with a candy cane I had left over!
I guess I expected something more? This tea is definitely minty, which is a good thing in my book. I love that mint 'feel'. I'm not sure it tastes anything like candy cane, but still, possibly worth the try? I must keep forgetting that mint teas have yet to catch my eye, but still I continue to search for one that wins me over.
I knew the second I opened the bag I was going to love this tea. Mint overload! Definitely cleared my sinuses. After brewing it tastes exactly like a candy cane. This is the perfect treat with a bit of milk and sugar
candy cane has a great peppermint and fresh flavor. the candy cane flavor is nice and has a great smell but after a wile of drinking it the flavor starts to become a but artificial it was a good tea I would get more of it. just have it once in a wile
More like candy cane cream. The smell is wonderful in the bag and as usual with adiago teas translates to a much subtler flavor in the cup.Don't expect a strong candy cane taste but a pleasant subtle peppermint taste.
Mint flavour anything is my favorite and this tea matches my love for the red and white striped candy!
This is one of my mothers favorite teas, and it blends so nicely with a lot of other black teas. My favorite is mixed with the chocolate chai
My go to tea. I ordered a sample and needed more in a week.
Great balance of black tea with a bit of sweetness. One of my go-to teas
Yet another great blend. One of the few black teas that I will drink plain. The peppermint flavor is nice and strong, a little bit sweet and with just a hint of vanilla. I prefer this to an herbal peppermint tea now.
