This tea tastes just like candy canes and is so smooth
I bought this once before a few years ago and thought it was ok, but the flavor was a little weak. The batch I got this year was much better! More than just a peppermint flavored tea, this tastes like a candy cane, without being artificial. Great hot or cold, although I think the flavor was even stronger (in a good way) iced. I like it with a little sugar.
My absolute face Adagio tea. The candy canes give just a bit of sweetness and hint of mint, and the smell is heavenly!
Christmas is here! Perfect after taste of peppermint. Wish is was herbal instead of black but I love it!

When I first tried this I really didn't like it. Something about the smell and taste just seemed off/way overpowering. But I tried another cup the next day, and made sure to not overbrew and to balance it out with sugar and cream and it was so much better. If you like candy cane flavor this is the tea you're looking for.
This is a perennial favorite, I love to drink it in the winter. A little milk and some sugar and it is perfection. The mint, like a candy cane, is sweeter and more mild than a typical mint tea, which goes perfectly with the black tea. It makes a nice dessert tea and a great morning pick-me-up.
Good black tea with nice minty undertones that aren't too strong.

This is my favorite seasonal tea. I really like this tea with a little cream(er) which makes it so smooth. I buy this every year and forget that I actually do like it (peppermint isn't actually my favorite flavor honestly) but this tea is so good.
Sweeter then mixing peppermint and black tea, but still good!
The perfect tea & not just for Christmas time either. I actually got this as one of the free samples Adagio are kind enough to add to each order & absolutely feel in love with it, so much so that I've been trying to drag out the little sample amount as much as I could.
This is a tea that you can enjoy a couple different ways. My husband likes it the way it is with a more subtle sweet peppermint taste. I prefer to add about a 1/4 tsp of extra peppermint when brewing mine to up that winter taste just a tad. Either way, it is a great tea if you like peppermint but also prefer black teas.

This is a very nice black tea. The peppermint blends well with the black tea creating a brisk finish.
When you open the bag, the smell is just like opening up Christmas. Wonderful aroma and taste. Now that it's Christmas time again, I have switched back to this tea and find it just as delightful as when I was brewing it last Christmas. Just ordered more of it!
Very good! This smells absolutely, ridiculously good; like mint and vanilla. However the taste is more just mint, just FYI.

This one is definitely enjoyable. It isn't as flavorful as some of the other teas from Adagio, but it is tasty and pepperminty enough to be thoroughly enjoyable.
This is one that wasn't as good as I had expected. It smells alright, and it certainly has a very strong minty flavor, but the actual taste feels a bit too 'thick' and sweet for me.

This might be my favorite tea from Adagio. I love the combination of the peppermint flavor with the black tea. There is something about soothing mint in the morning that helps perk me up. And it has the added benefit of not clashing with the flavor of toothpaste- so it's a perfect tea to grab right after I've brushed my teeth and I'm heading out the door to work.
I love this tea! It's pepperminty and sweet-tasting without adding sugar (aside from the few candy cane pieces). It's especially nice at the holidays, but I love to drink the rest of the year, too.

I feel like this tea is discredited when I mention its name to people. It goes over much better if I just call it Black Peppermint. It's a truly delicious tea with mild peppermint and strength, which allows me to drink quite a bit of throughout the day. Each sip is like a breath of fresh air.
It has enough peppermint to soothe your stomach and enough caffeine to get your engine revving in the morning. Perfectly balanced sweetness with a touch of cream. This is my current favorite, and it's July!
