A wondrous Fall-time delight with warm Caramel notes and apple-y scrumptiousness! (3 mins @ 212° with added dash of Florida crystals so that all flavor could be brought forth...)

This tea is ok. I like the apple taste but the candy taste comes off strangely to me. I don't like the aftertaste.

The tea smelled like apples. I'm not a big black tea lover but some black teas I do like. This one isn't one of them. Thanks. I'll pass today.

Reminds me of halloween with friends; sweet but a bit tart, just like a candy apple. Added a dash of cinnamon honey and it went quite nicely
Still a tea I really enjoy; though I think I might like it better Iced

This tea was a miss for me. I found both the flavor and scent to be very… artificial? I know the ingredients are natural but something about the flavor seemed off. It reminded me of a cheap apple cinnamon air freshener or something. My 8 year old (who likes to sample most of my teas) didn’t taste this one but said it smelled like “butter.” Disappointing since I do like most flavored teas I’ve tried from Adagio!

If you’re looking for an apple tea, I recommend the Spiced Apple Chai — I really like that one!

★★★★☆

This tea was tasty. I didn’t smell or taste any apple but the caramel taste was nice and light and enjoyable.

The aroma of the opened packet smelled like Carmel apple. I did not get a lot of apple flavor. There was a pleasant tartness I tasted the black tea but it was steeped at low temp so not bitter. I added Carmel syrup which helped marry the flavours .

hot, with cream and sugar, the caramel was still a bit too smokey for my palate. I have more in the fridge, cooling. I'm hoping the flavors taste better that way.

I'm glad I put some in the fridge. Its quite good that way. Still, I may blend with it, but its not my favorite

This was tastier than I expected. I don’t know if I’ve ever actually had a candy apple - maybe a caramel apple once when I was little? - so I can’t speak to similarity, but this tea has a nice fruity sweetness that balances well with the black tea. Steeped 3 mins @ 200°

I'm so impressed with the Candy Apple. The scent is exactly that of a candy apple. Very sweet smelling, although it brewed a little bitter (205*F/4min). I loved the suggestions of adding some more cinnamon. Not something I'll keep on hand all year, good to try.

When I first opened my packet it smelled really mapley, almost like cinnamon apple oatmeal or something, so I was really expecting it to be yet another cinnamon apple spice flavor. However, I was quite pleasantly surprised that it was more caramely. I don't know that it tastes exactly like a candy apple per se, maybe like an apple banana bread. But it's really good and I would absolutely drink it again! It makes me feel like it's fall!

I really liked this one. But yet I love these types of fall or apple flavors. I do think it could have been amped up in flavor a tad bit more but it was definitely a flavor I enjoy. I've had this in blends before but now I'm thinking to search more out. I imagine this would be great with more caramel added to it.

My cups smells like a red apple lollipop. The taste is a nice black tea with a hint of cinnamon and candy apple. I thoroughly enjoyed sipping this one without anything added as I read my book for a bit this morning.

I seeped this one at 200 degrees. It tasted a little 'artificial' to me. I prefer the apple spice chai teas as a nod to apple cider.

Too much caramel and not enough apple; and it would take too much sweetener to bring it to something I would find more drinkable. I did not taste cinnamon, which would have helped cut the heavy caramel taste, and made it taste more like a candy apple, (which is not the same as a caramel apple!!) Candy apples are made of sugar and corn syrup, which would have not been a good tea either!

ok i LOVED this tea. loved it. It's not for everyone but I had it with a little sweetener on a gray afternoon and it was SUCH a treat.

This just didn't do it for me. I guess it had a vague artificial apple flavour but a strange aftertaste and a really odd astringency. I tripled the amount of sweetener I normally use and still found it unpleasant. Here's hoping it was just my packet. Steeped 3 min @ 195º.

This is a delightful fall tea for any time of the year! Love the apple flavor more than some of the other adagio apple teas.

This one was good, but I thought it was a bit weak and could have been a lot stronger in taste, for me at least

★★★★★

Warm and cozy, it feels like a tea version of apple cider. Little bit of spice from the cinnamon, but the apple flavour is nice and rich.

Excellent sweet smell with a mild fruity flavor to complement. Wonderful tea.

Delicious! If apple cider were warmed and absent of sugar, it would taste like this tea:) I will definitely order more!

I like the Candy Apple a lot - I've been craving apple flavor in my teas. The candy brings just a touch of sweetness. I like it with crea.

★★★☆☆

I like to have this as an afternoon pick me up when I want a caffeine boost and am in the mood for something sweet. It is a bit sweeter than I usually care for so more of a dessert type tea for me but it does taste like candy apple so that is a fun, nostalgic flavor to enjoy. Not a favorite I drink all the time, but a nice sweet treat when in the right mood for a fun candy apple tea.

Great tea, tastes exactly like you would expect it to given the name. Seems like more of a fall and winter tea, but I am sure it would be good anytime.

★★★★☆

smells just like a candy apple, it's got an autumn aura to it :D I like the apple flavor a lot and it gives a lot of energy from the caffeine.

★★★★★

This is one of those teas that surprises you. The name makes you want to proceed with caution, but it has a nice flavor. I tried this as part of a Christmas sampler and really loved it. When I ordered more teabags, somehow they aren't quite as good. I still like it, though, and I don't think it has that artificial flavor that some fruity teas do. ”

It's a pretty good tasting tea, but I wouldn't call it candy apple. It tastes more like a caramel apple which are two different things.

I enjoyed the sample. Both caramel and apple flavors come through, and were a nice change from all the cinnamon apple teas I've tried. But I wouldn't buy again.

Candy Apple is what started my love affair with Adagio many years ago! I found it at a festival. I always come back for more here at the website! Fall and winter must have!

I first had this in my monthly tea box and it is DELICIOUS, I like mine with lemon and sugar, hot or cold!

Candy Apple smells heavenly, but the strong black tea overpowers much of the candy Apple flavor once steeped.

Something strange about the taste that I can't figure out, I think it's the flavouring. It tastes... fake? Artificial? Not even good, at that.

AMAZING!!! This tea I would buy over and over again, great flavor, full flavor, just really a great tea!

It took me a few tries to get this one right, making me wonder if I'd ever learn to love it. I desperately wanted to, given it smells amazing, but somehow I'd either get a terribly bitter cup or I'd make it too weak when trying to over-correct. Eventually, I found that using slightly cooler water for about three minutes brought out the sweetness while balancing the apple's sourness, and now I'm a huge fan. My husband, who likes everything sweet, says adding a little brown sugar makes the fruit notes pop. I'm usually a cinnamon apple person, but this one gives me something else to enjoy when I need a change.

I enjoyed the flavor of the candy in this tea. I also mixed this tea with a peppermint tea I had and it was reminiscent of the holidays enjoyed on a cold winter night.

This was a really nice tea. Perfect the cold weather snap we are having. The cinnamon notes are really light, not very noticeable. This pairs nicely with honey.

From the perspective of me and my girlfriend, I think this tastes fairly sweet with an almost syrup-y medicinal flavor. That isn't inherently a bad thing to me as it doesn't taste like cough syrup or the like, but for my girlfriend it strongly disagreed with her and was so bitter she couldn't stomach it. Judging by a couple other reviews I've seen, maybe one of the flavorings used is a lot bitter than intended with some.

Either way this was okay for me, the apple is there and the sweetness. But it may be horribly bitter to some.

I'm not all that fond of black teas in general, but this was the first one that was pleasing to my tongue. It's aromatic and sweet to savor. Perfect for this time of year!

I wasn’t at all sure about today’s tea when I opened the pouch. I think there was only one apple piece in my packet. I got an apple scent but the smell was artificial. I brewed the tea at 195F for 3 minutes. The apple taste was decent but I could still smell the artificial apple sell, if that makes sense. I didn’t taste any caramel flavor. I’m ambivalent about this tea because of the artificial aroma.

I'm not sure I would say this was a 'Candy Apple', more like a 'Caramel Apple'. The aroma from the packet was like a caramel apple. I steeped for 3 minutes at 212. The tea was very tasty - nice and smooth. I really enjoyed it.
