I tasted very little apple. It was more like sweet cinnamon. So If you like cinnamon this is the tea for you.

Easily one of my favorite teas for fall. Has a strong kind of caramel flavor, not so much on the apple, and can be a little sweet. But if that's your thing it's awesome!

I thought this teas would be more sweater then it actually was but I still enjoyed it.
I bought samples of both the candy apple and the rooibos cinnamon apple, so I would have caffeinate and decaf options. I have to say I prefer the rooibos version. This one tastes too sweet, and somewhat atrificial. It definitely leans towards the candy side.
My friends constantly request this tea when they come to visit. It is almost sweet without sugar, and tastes great with or without it.

I took the sample based solely on the name. To be fair, I am biased in that I don't usually care very much for black teas. I find them too bitter. My wife on the other hand thought that this tea was excellent. She said it was much better chilled than hot. Pouring it directly over ice waters it down too much, so she just puts it in the fridge for awhile.
I really, really miss the regular apple tea. This one is ok, tastes a little too sweet for just black tea.
I thought this would be a great tea hot, but I definitely think its better cold. Has a very strong flavor, I think.
The aroma of this tea is the first thing that hits you: it really captures the Granny Smith sort of apple scent layered under a thick caramel. Drinking it black, the sweetness and flavor is full-bodied and appropriately captures the seasonal treat, so I imagine it could be an excellent dessert tea with a bit of sugar. If you're a fan of candy apples and you're reading this in the autumn, I cannot recommend highly enough.
I like this tea a lot. It's very appley. It reminds me more of apple pie than a candy apple though.
Really good. I don't find that it overbrews or anything and has a nice flavor. I think that milk complements it nicely.

I ordered this as a gift for a friend because it is one of my FAVORITES. I also use it in my custom blend, Gabriel's Goodies. It is so yummy. The caramel flavor creeps up on you and leaves such a fantastic aftertaste. I love it!!
It smells a little sweet but when brewed it's smooth and, if anything, needs a bit of sugar or honey to really bring out the apple and caramel flavors.
I was surprised that I liked this as much as I did. I was a little worried that it might be too sweet, but it wasn't. Actually, I ended up adding a bit of rock sugar, and that made it just right. Nice apple flavor with a hint of caramel.

Its ALL I could smell after opening in my cabinet, it smells so sweet and mouthwatering. The tea itself doesnt quite live up. But its not bad at all.

I only got a small hint of apple in comparison to the caramel. However, you can definitely taste both. I was actually kind of slammed by the taste once I added some cream to it. Really not something I would ice, but I only experimented with that once, so I may be wrong.
This tea was not very strong in flavor. It was sweet and leaned more on the caramel flavor than apple. If you want a good apple tea I'd recommend Rooibos Cinnamon Apple over this one.
A great sweet treat with a lovely and fruity flavor
There is a very strong caramel smell when you open the bag which left me a little surprised when it didn't brew up as strong. The caramel is a subtly sweet I usually drink my tea black but I might try a bit of sugar or honey the next time around. Unlike other reviewers I thought it could use a little more apple... I only noticed it in the aftertaste.
I was a little disappointed with this tea. The flavours were not nearly strong enough - I didn't really taste apple.
This was served to me without knowing what the flavor was and I could definitely taste the apple in it. It is good, but adding a bit of caramel tea to it makes it feel more like a candy apple to me.
Bright, sweet, and just a little nuts. I can't help but think of carnivals and amusement parks every time I smell this one. Admittedly I'm not crazy about this one on its own but it does make for some rocking blends!

Definitely tastes more like caramel apple vs. candy apple to me. I like it more than I thought I would since black tea is not my favorite. It's just sweet enough, without being overly sweet.
Tastes more like a caramel apple than a candy apple. Certainly more flavorful than Adagio's other black teas. It's a good tea for when I'm in the mood.
So this 'good' rating is actually 'good?' formed as a question because I'm not entirely sure what's happening with this tea. My first initial sip, I literally tasted nothing - it was like '...I... did drink something, right?' level of weird absence of anything. Then the aftertaste happened, and that was lovely. So I tried it again and then... it just tastes like Raisin Bran. Like the nutty-raisin flavor. Brown sugar, almost? It's not bad, but it's not what I expected. So, yeah, it's good?
Also the smell of the tea in the bag is fantastic and lovely. <3
Candy apple was my first tea to try from Adagio. I was hooked. Very fruity and tasty.
SO GOOD. The ingredients are apple and caramel, so I thought, 'Shouldn't it be called Caramel Apple?' But it really does turn out between the two. Sort of a generally candy-fied apple tangy flavor that's absolutely delicious. A lovely treat when you want something sweet and different.
Saved this one for a rainy day - it's really good. With sugar it's a wonderful treat. Will make a great tea to have on hand this fall when weather is cooler.
